Morning!!!!

Neenztwinz · 26/09/2008 09:01

Hi all, long time since I posted... hope everyone is good.

I am fab, the twins are still as adorable as ever and are an absolute delight. They are 20 weeks old now, Theo rolled over last week (but hasn't done it since), they want to be entertained all the time... not so keen on their vibrating recliners now!!

But I am enjoying the last few weeks of exclusive bfing and them not being able to move when I put them down. Won't be long till they are all over the place and I am up to my ears in pureed fruit and veg. Oh well, it will be a challenge.

They sleep in separate rooms which has been a godsend cos Esther cries herself to sleep most naps and at bedtime! Only for a few mins (most of the time). Theo just loves his bed and never complains when I put him down. They are still only 12lb6 and 10lb12 bless them... but there are no concerns about their weight. Now I am getting a full night's sleep I have got a great little social life of playgroups and mum's meetups. Don't have to go back to work till next August when they'll be 16 months old. Am I mad to want to be pregnant again by then?

shabster · 26/09/2008 09:15

Yes.....totally, totally barking mad!!! Utterly odd, lost your marbles, howling at the full moon MAD!!!

Hiya love - I have missed you xx

MarsLady · 26/09/2008 12:21

Hey all. Am flying through. Still knackered from the birth yesterday but I managed to deliver my French assignment to the OU, get through a birth and get prepared for my French Oral tomorrow morning. I'm going for a quick nap now, then grabbing lunch and practising my French before picking up from school and entertaining a couple of the twins favourite friends.

I'll be back soon, promise! If anyone needs me desperately tell FG to sort out her blimming phone and text me (Pixi's also good at tracking me down)

Hi,
A delicate subject, constipation! Had a bout of it all this week, and a sore feeling in my lower right side, is that usual, could it be ovaries? Cant get a docs apt for over a week, and H said to me today, oh thats all we want is you having a problem. Have taken meds, can go, just feel sore in that area. Please tell me not to worry! Had a pint of guiness in the pub today thinking it might help things! I have had it before, but this time its been about a week. Could it be stress related? As this week has been a nightmare, told you yesterday H went on his bike to chemo? Well he got back at 3.30pm and almost fell off of his bike, couldnt speak. The cold air had closed his throat up, like he was choking, he had been warned this could happen, took about an hour for him to feel better, quite scary. Gawddddd what next?

TiggerTonkaTruck · 26/09/2008 14:11

Ruby I thought Party plan involved vibrating chairs and stuff?

TiggerTonkaTruck · 26/09/2008 14:13

Triplets!!!! X post sorry my friend!!!

If you want to know about Ovary pain then I am your woman!!!!! Bloody things have been a nightmare all my life. Normally feel it just above the hip bone and a little in towards your belly button.

OMG at H Take the wheels off his bike now woman!!!!!!

MarsLady · 26/09/2008 19:57

Must put DTs in bed but... Momma.. you can't possibly win my money tonight. I'll be generous though and buy you all a vibrating chair when I win the 100M euro

Just had boozy playdate then realised that I'm now on call for my next couple

frumpygrumpy · 26/09/2008 20:40

[major sleepy]

Went to see Travis last night, they were FANBLOODYTASTIC!!!! The hoose came doon. Took DP for his birthday, came home at 1am chasing fish suppers up the road. I know how to show a man a fine evening

Mars/et al, my phone works on a basic level. I can take/make calls (but I don't 'do' speaking ) and I can see the right hand side of any text messages. The left hand side I make up according to what I can see on the right Haven't made it to the shop yet.......Sunday hopefully. So I'm available. And I can text Mars morning, noon or night if you want me to pass on any banter

Trips, constipation can also be hormonal i.e. menopausal......

Hiya girls...night night girls..see you later on this morning xx

tkband3 · 27/09/2008 07:39

Morning all.

I had a lovely 'date' with DH last night...my mum came up and stayed over to babysit, so we went out for a chinese buffet and then to the cinema. It was like the old days BC (before children ) - I even dressed up in a dress .

Back to the grind this morning though - all 3 girls have ballet this morning, so I'm there for nearly 2 hours, sitting in a v. small ante-room outside the hall, next to the toilets. I have to be very careful where I sit as well...you all know how we have 'the pregnant chair' on this thread? Well two of the other ballet mums are pregnant with twins at the moment . I worry every week that I haven't been positive enough about the joys of having multiples .

shabster · 27/09/2008 09:24

Lew just had his first 'proper' food LOL. Danny says he 'wolfed' it down and grinned all through it!! 17 weeks old tomorrow
