Well the jabs were horrid. DT1 went first and initially just looked at her arm in shock, but then started crying. Then DT2 started crying in sympathy, and wouldn't let me undress her for for hers - I really had to struggle with her which was awful . But 3 minutes later, once they'd chosen their stickers, they were all smiles again, so no long-lasting trauma . Although I wouldn't mind betting DT2 asks me next time we have to go to the doc's whether she'll have to have another 'jection'!
DTs start at the nursery at DD1's school tomorrow, which means they'll be in uniform. They're dead excited, but I foresee some problems with DT2 - she's always been the more sensitive, cautious one, and I have a feeling she might get a bit upset when I drop them off. Can't wait to see them all in their uniform though - will try and post a pic if I can.
Shabs, DD1's name is Ella and we live in an area with a large number of Greeks and Greek Cypriots, so they always look round when I call her name .
Pixi, hope your legs are feeling better. I hate falling like that - I'd have been like you, trying to put a brave face on it (and hoping I hadn't sworn in pain without realising!).
Oh and welcome to Binky. I didn't have PND either. I read that article in Grazia and thought it was really irresponsible reporting actually - just what you need when you're pregnant with twins and feeling daunted by the whole thing.
Had a note home from school today about governors - there are 2 vacancies, so I'm thinking about putting myself forward for it. Does anyone know what being a governor entails? Think I might start another thread about it.
