Good morning girls - more tired than when I went to bed!

MarsLady · 17/09/2008 07:55

Me too Shabs!

I know! I know! I've been rather slack lately. Sorry! I have been so busy but you're right... should never be too busy for here.

TKandB I remember taking DD1 up the hill to the GPs. She said "I'm not sick!" The screamed "I don't want 'jections! I don't want 'jections!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Pixi... look after yourself my lovely.

Will catch up more after school run!

Not heard anything from my niece - 90% of me hopes she goes on holidays and the 10% is the massive fear that I will be visiting Beth and she becomes very poorly again.

Right bad thoughts away and positive good thoughts shoved into my brain.

Going doing big shop! How very, very exciting

Leoloopydoo · 17/09/2008 10:04

BTW FG, I have forgotten where you are. My brother has just moved to the Isle of Skye, is that a long way away from you? It always surprises me how big Scotland is.

triplets · 17/09/2008 10:25

Goodmorning ladies..................ahhhhhhhhh sat here and on the radio they are playing Nights in White Satin........bringing back a far distant memory of a smoochy dance with someone I had fancied for ages, then he walked over and asked me to dance............ahhhhhhhhhhhh, then he moved away. Couldnt have been my dancing I was always ace at the Gay Gordons Well H is a bit better this morning, I woke feeling good, lively for a change, lovely Autumn morning, all went up to school together, then wallop! Poor H hit the kerb, there was nothing coming, result? One shattered Ford Galaxy tyre. Off he has gone for a spare, cheapest quote was £119!! Looks like our hope of finding the cash to get away is diminishing fast! As its our big a/v next week dy think I could ask the family for a hols donation instead of a string of pearls
Morning Shabs xxx

shabster · 17/09/2008 11:25

Just for you Trips - you gay Gordon!

I'm winning the lottery tonight so I will transfer wads of cash to your account in the morning - OK? xxxx

oooggs · 17/09/2008 13:36

The house is nr Highampton, 10mins from Okehampton, so north of Dartmoor. He has not as yet replied, hope I have not been led on? Just looks perfect.O ff to school, lets see if we can get there without anymore mishaps!

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2008 15:04

Someday soon I hope I get to chat properly..............my day.......up at 5.10am to make DP some tea and breakfast (he's off to London and took a nasty migraine last night after the tyre puncture episode), did school run, did Tesco shopping, bumped into a friend who really needed to talk (the one whose husband died) so we talking in the chilly aisle, next to the bacon for AN HOUR, ran home, showered, went to counselling, came home, neighbour dropped some stuff in, tidied breakfast stuff up, fixed my face (from crying at couselling), made cuppa, gotta run back to school now.

Tonight: go to AIRPORT!!! My baby brother is making a surprise visit home from Oz, tonight til Sunday. My mum and dad don't know. I'd like to sneak in and make up his room but I don't think I've time....... I am very excited. I love him big time.

I am neglecting my duties but I promise I will hoover very soon. Love to a'bdy xxx.

tkband3 · 17/09/2008 15:56

Does anyone else do different 'voices' for everyone in their head when they read the posts?! I don't normally but I do find myself doing a scottish accent for frumpy, especially when I read something particularly scottish like 'took a migraine' - I go back and read it 'in scottish', to make it sound right in my head .

FG, hope DP's migraine improved - can't imagine he felt much like flying this morning . And your poor friend . But how exciting that your brother is on his way....

Well DTs had a lovely morning at nursery. No problems at all dropping them off, they just sat down and started playing and were all smiles when I picked them up. DH did take photos but with his camera, so I can't upload them. Will see if he can do it for me this evening, while I'm in the pub with the girls .

Ruby, wish my surgery offered that for the jabs, but although they have 2 nurses, they are never on at the same time. TBH I didn't think it was going to be that much of a problem - they were fine for their jabs last year, didn't even whimper, so I was completely unprepared for their reaction [bad mother emoticon].

Shabs, any news from your niece? Can't imagine anyone who needs a break more, except perhaps Trips - have you heard from your man in Dartmoor Trips?

You obviously know me far too well

snortis · 17/09/2008 16:23

What d'y think?

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2008 16:59

PMSL!

I haven't done voices (there's no room in my head for any more!! I seem to have a plethora of my own to go with each of my personalities )

I didn't realise I sounded Scottish on here. Do you guys not say he "took a migraine"? I am baffled! I must try harder.

I'm worried about my DTs. They are in the bath together and are quoting the Cillit Bang advert LOL! DT2: "BANG, one squirt and the job is done, and now NEW Cillit Bang" followed by DT1: "one squirt and the job is done".........what have I reared????

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2008 16:59
