Ooo, that was good timing! Thanks Shabs - they have 5 tomorrow. I can't believe it!

Right, I have inadvertently had about a month off here - I don't know how that happened! So, can anyone update me?

How is LG&T - how far along is she and is it definately a girl?

Shabs, how's the Lew, Em and Dan situation? Last time I heard they were all struggling.

Pixi, how are you getting on with house moves (can't remember if your last one was permanent), children, etc?

Who's have started school this time? Mine are on their first full day today - yesssssssssss! hope they're alright, the little darlings.

Ah, whatever - yesssssssss!

Trips, how are you, Harry and Gladys?

Hi to everyone else

Oooo, that reminds me - Levi learnt to wave yesterday! [cute emoticon]

They have five tomorrow? I think I mean they are five tomorrow!

Hello twin (and more) mums
I'm expecting twins in March next year, feeling pretty ghastly but overall just very excited and overjoyed.

This weekend I treated myself to a load of chocolate and a Grazia mag, unfortunately there was a shtoopid article in it about Angelina and the twins and how post natal depression is worse for mums of twins.
Would be interested to hear if you think it is worse, and in which case should I line up a lot of support - am planning on having my Mum & Dad around to help for first few weeks but hadn't really thought about (much less budgeted for) a maternity nurse etc. It's got me all worried, if she can't cope with all their squillions of cash and spacious chateau how on earth do I think I am going to manage with two little screamers in a cramped building site?
Thanks everyone.
xx
PS Afraid this is just today's thing to worry about and then I'll get on to something else

shabster · 15/09/2008 11:25

Hiya Blinky and welcome to the mad house.

I personally dont think PND is worse with twins - I have had twins and two singles!! I think its a good idea to get as organised as possible. When they come along accept help with anything from anyone!!!! My grandma used to come up for the day and iron, my parents would walk the twins for hours etc etc

Estar - Em is a lot better, on some new AD's and coping much better. Lewis is almost 13lbs in weight and smiling and 'talking'. She is going back to work in January and I get to child mind every day YIPPEEEE. Will need some lessons on how to push the posh pram though

As soon as I stop all this puking nonsense I will bake [buy and put on a fancy plate] some brownies to thank you all for warm welcome and reassurance!

triplets · 15/09/2008 13:45

Don`t forget the choccy covered nuts for me Binky..........the others have ben abit slack lately..............

Oh yes..........."Welcome".......and we have virtual parties, don`t we girls?

BinkyB · 15/09/2008 14:21

The fact that you have time to have virtual parties gives me hope! I have now stopped worrying about PND and am back to worrying if I'll ever have time to wash my hair. Also had a dream that I left one of the twins in a shop so I'm a bad mummy already!

HarrogateMum · 15/09/2008 14:32

Welcome Binky! Dont worry, once they're born, you'll put them in a corner and get on Mumsnet regularly!

HarrogateMum · 15/09/2008 14:33

hi Estar......I was wondering where you were a few pages back!
