shabster · 12/08/2008 00:54

Night girls - Broke, pissed off, knackered, ticked off, cant sleep......see you all in the morning. xxx

You OK Frumpster?

charleymouse · 12/08/2008 01:15

night Shabs, hope you get some sleep.

shabster · 12/08/2008 01:37

Night charley - been a strange year of contrasts....first grandchild, holiday to our beloved Rhodes, move from private rented house to housing association, absolute lack of money, small amount of illness, longing for our boys to still be here with us etc etc etc.

Feel in a reflective mood...blessed but angry, happy but sad, the richest woman in the world and the poorest, etc etc.

I know everything will be just fine...know my ship will come in one day....just got an awful 'ticked off' feeling.

Night honey, night all see you in the morning xx

shabster · 12/08/2008 07:47

Morning......my sleep pattern is worse than ever

triplets · 12/08/2008 08:48

Godmorning my darling Shabs,
Hate to think of you feeling the way you do. It has been the most up and down year hasnt it? The one good thing in my book that outshines everything is Lewiss birth, truly, the only thing that lifted my spirits, so that is a blessing. I was fed up last night, H went off to bed in a right mood, I know he had a frustrating day, but it affects us too, kids bored, now it will be the same tomorrow, back to the hospital for 8.30am. This morning he has to go for his blood test at 9.45am before he goes off to his gardening job, so I asked him to drop me and the kids in the town, it will save me £3 bus fare, that was a moan, then the boys groaned as unless I take them into Woolies they don`t want to come! One days Shabs our boat will come in and you and I will do that holiday we always promised ourselves, Shirley Valentine style! Sagapo xxx

And a

shabster · 12/08/2008 08:53

Thank you Trips....Ive a lot to be thankful for but just gets to me every now and then...I seem to be holding up the entire extended family and because I have done it for 26 years I keep on doing it, and they let me!!

Hope today is a bit better for you Trips....it has rained so much up here that I keep seeing pairs of animals boarding this enormous wooden boat

charleymouse · 12/08/2008 11:42

Take the weight off a little Shabs, lean on us for while and rest your weary shoulders.

Hope H gets on okay today Trips and you have a nice time in town.

Life really is such a rollercoaster isn't it?

shabster · 12/08/2008 12:49

Oh Charley that sounds piggin' good to me.....gets all too much sometimes. I can normally put my 'Im fine thanks' head on but think I have lost it today!!

charleymouse · 12/08/2008 13:08

Don't worry, I think it is good to loose it sometimes then we realise how well together we are most if the time.

Some days are just crap though aren't they. I had one a fortnight ago just sat crying and being a right miserable cow. This week feeling a bit better and next week hopefully better still .

hi rubes!

charleymouse · 12/08/2008 14:09

Hi Neeerly3

CM Waves manically at Ruby, did you have a good holiday?

Shabs not sure if you should take Ruby up on her offer, a donkey scrub sounds a bit suspect to me. Eeyore.

I know, over too soon. The washing and work we have to do when we get back is always a nightmare as well.

triplets · 12/08/2008 16:30

Hi ,
Talk about frustrating!! Chemo unit phoned this pm and didnt know the picc line had not been fitted on Mon, nor did they realise H was going to them at 8.30am tomorrow to have it fitted in that unit. 2 mins ago I get a phone call from the day surgery unit to say they are expecting him at 1pm, why can nobody get it right!! If chemo doesnt restart on Thurs I`ll scream, or leave home

triplets · 12/08/2008 17:24

How many swear words do you know?? Just had another phone call from the chemo unit to say they have lost his blood sample so he must be at the unit at 8.30am in the morning to get another one day or chemo will not go ahead On Thurs! So I said oh he will be pleased, if the picc isn`t fitted until 1pm he has to hang around for almost 4 hours, she then said, 4 hours, we have him down to fit the line at 11.30am!!!!

piximon · 12/08/2008 18:45

tkb thanks so much for your offer but my dad will be giving me a lift and expecting us to stay with him.

It's going to be a busy few days. Tomorrow I have my dad, younger brother, and step dad coming to stay till we drive back to London on Friday. Me and Prince get the floor in ds1/dd1's bedroom. Brother will have to share with my dad in my bedroom. (my dad has bad health and wouldn't be able to get down onto the floor easily). They are all committed carnivores so not sure what they'll be eating if they arrive before the shopping does!

Saturday first thing I'm seeing my aunt for coffee, then seeing old best friend, then I'm taking DT2 to see a specialist about his plagiocephaly, think it's now too late to do anything, but fingers crossed. Took him to the hairdressers yesterday and had his long locks cut off, with his shorter hair it's much less noticeable. When we come back depends on what consultant says.

It'll be the first time dts have been apart since dt1 was hospitalised for a few days at 6wks, and even then it was only a matter of hours that they weren't together. Will be interesting to see if they miss each other and how they both get on. I feel really guilty for the three being left behind, esp as dd1 pipped up "don't leave me behind, I love you".

piximon · 12/08/2008 18:53

Triplets/Shabs - really feel for you both with all the crap you're going through. Wish there was something I could do to help.
