morning mars. Hope the tooth ache feels better. I need a spell that will stop eve from peeing all over my new carpet!!! I have just toilet trained her and she is going through a phase of peeing everywhere and its a new house

frumpygrumpy · 09/08/2008 11:25

I'm in the NHS queue......they will phone me when they have stopped glueing heads back on.

Mars, when can you get to a dentist? Horrid.

Gruesome, I am a believer in bribery. One chocolate finger per wee wee or poo in the right place. Its easier to break that habit. Good luck.

MarsLady · 09/08/2008 11:32

Saw the dentist last week. It's time for me to stop running away from my wisdom tooth extraction. That's what's causing the pain. Sigh..

Facebook Scrabble won't load and I'm desolate. I might miss my turn. Not that I don't have a million non-online things to do today.

I'm off to Marseille on Thursday! I'm taking DD1 to stay at a friend's house. Booked it a long time ago and suddenly it's almost here!

Oooh Mars, I know that pain. I had to have all four wisdom teeth removed a few years ago. Do it, the relief is great!!!! IIRC, Bocasan (from the pharmacy) is a wash you hold in your mouth with warm water. It soothes a bit. FWIW, I had no problems after the removal, all very straightforward.

I have an appointment at 1pm at the out of hours hospital service. They are going to want to give me antibiotics and they don't agree with me...... double me up.....caught between a rock and a hard place........

ROFL Momma - Wish somebody would dangle their tackle in my face - hopefully Robbie Williams. Wouldn't care if my boss saw that one!!! (Shabbs remembers she doesn't go to work )

piximon · 09/08/2008 13:16

Right before I go down the freeloader freecycle route, does anyone on here have need of the following:

travel system (mothercare graco mirage, inc car seat & base, raincover, travel sys rain cover, matching change bag. Pushchair is blue/grey/black.

changing table, only an Ikea one, but still good. here. Actually we have two of them and they can go either together or singly.

Moses basket & stand. M&P Barnaby Bear design. Wooden stand can be fixed or rocking.

Collection from Exeter or London. Or DH can drop off if on his route.

Mars* DH says if you know anyone who could make use of them he will drop off at yours. He'd prefer them to go to someone we know won't just be taking them to sell.

Really need the space, my storage unit is costing a fortune.

piximon · 09/08/2008 13:18

Grr forgot the other * when typing Mars

frumpygrumpy · 09/08/2008 15:23

Pixi, can't remember if it was you who asked but.......what about selling at the NCT sales? They tend to have heaps of clothes and its the equipment that goes fast.

Momma for your hangover and [lusty grin] for your fireman. Did I say I used to work for the FB, many, many moons ago? I would be mortified if I had a male stripper!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, the up close and personal with someone handsome would go down a treat but in front of an audience YIKES!!!!!!

tis the only way. Make yourself have one, just one, glass of wine around 5/6pm. Tis the only way

I have my face and my frock pressed and ready. Just give me the nod.

piximon · 09/08/2008 16:03

Hey FG - did you try cranberry juice yet? I was hoping to do NCT but it falls next month on DD1's birthday. We have to be out of rental mid Oct so can't wait for another one. I'm starting the organising now, it's only 10 weeks and I'm more or less alone packing. Have already taken some bits to the local baby furniture shop. Haven't actually found anywhere to move to. Will be on park benches at this rate. I'm seriously thinking of moving back to London.

Spent all morning sorting non essential bedding into a vacuum bag and packing up 0-3mth clothes for SIL who's expecting her baby around the end of the year.

Shabs am very , just found I still haven't posted your moving house card. Sorry my dear.

MarsLady · 09/08/2008 16:08

You LOVE Devon Pixi. There must be something there for you.

I don't know anyone who needs those bits, but will give it more thought. If your DH is passing my door (before Thursday or after 22nd Aug) I've a few bits for Momma. I won't pass any on to you as I know you're trying to get rid.

shabster · 09/08/2008 16:17

Pixie - dont be about the card.....we aren't going to move ever again so you have plenty of time to send it!!

Awwwww Momma - the 21st? That is the anniversary of Dan and Ems first date - 8 yrs ago and my Mum and Dads 54th wedding anniversary.

Well done sweetheart - does Poppa need a best woman man?

HarrogateMum · 09/08/2008 20:02

hello all! Been offline for a bit. Momma, 2 days before my 36th BD!! (did I say that out loud??) It will be gorgeous!

I have hols booked for next June in Cornwall - will i get to meet some of you lovely sou'westerners?

piximon · 09/08/2008 20:03

Momma what time roughly is good for you tomorrow? I'm filling another bag for you dts. All the other baby shoes I have are 6-12mth, I think your dts have outgrown that size? So excited about your wedding. Glad your hen night didn't involve broken bones like mine did.

Mars DH doesn't need to be out that way, but would pick up if required. Pity you're not around next weekend, I'll be coming to London on Fri (my birthday) with Prince & DT2 for a clinic appt on Sat afternoon. Will be first time dts have been apart since dt1 was in hospital at 6wks old!

Saturday morning I'm meeting up with my old best friend. Haven't seen her for around 10 years and we found each other on FB. I'm really looking forward to seeing her, but wonder if remembering everything I went through around that time is partly what's bringing me down.

triplets · 09/08/2008 20:04

Evening ladies all,
Murder here, everybody at each others throats, I feel a tad jaded after my night out, but pretending not to be otherwise I may never go again! Becca is in one of her, "its soooooooooooo boring here and I have no girls to play with", she has flounced off to her room, Tom Tom has just come out of the bathroom where he locked himself in 30 mins ago after H told him he couldnt watch a dvd as he wanted to watch the Proms, now H has just walked into the sitting room to find 5000 pieces of lego strewn across the floor that James has out, me ....Im keeping out of it
Hope you are feeling better FG, never had that myself but my friends young daughter has suffered wit it for 4 years, they have even stretched her bladder! Hope the tooth is better Mars.
Did someone say there is going to be a wedding, slap my wrist for not paying attention, now where`s my hat

MarsLady · 09/08/2008 20:07

Just realised that I'd missed news of the fireman stripper!

Pixi... don't worry about the stuff. Will sort something out next time. It's a shame I won't be about (though I hear it's hot where I'm going).
