How did you know it was me? Are my knickers showing?

shabster · 07/08/2008 23:47

Oh yes, as usual. Your name tag is in the back of them as well!!

sweatyferretsunited · 07/08/2008 23:50

PMSL!

shabster · 07/08/2008 23:51

Awwwww our Jackie Parsons - I had almost forgotten about her - sleezy bint!!

sweatyferretsunited · 07/08/2008 23:52

Meant to say, I'm pleased about today and the doc and Dan and Em. Someone wise said its not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about dancing in the rain. But you already knew that pinkfrog xxx .

shabster · 07/08/2008 23:54

Exciting news, for once, a little lad who was in our Matts year at Primary is through to the last 18 in the over 25's on this years X Factor. Have you heard me 'little lad!!' He is quite delicious to look at but somehow that sounds very wrong

Cant wait for X factor to start. He is not supposed to release any news about the progression of the show but nobody told his older sister she couldnt sneak bits of information to me

shabster · 07/08/2008 23:56

Ta frumpster - dont think I could carry on watching my firstborn holding his firstborn and sobbing all over me. The last few weeks have been very hard work.

sweatyferretsunited · 07/08/2008 23:57

ahem so, um, we're kind of, almost, famous

HOW EXCITING!!!! Shall we get tickets for the studio? I could knit us t-shirts with "SWEATY FERRETS ON TOUR" on them.

sweatyferretsunited · 07/08/2008 23:59

oh dear, the cross posting is terrible

shabster · 08/08/2008 00:02

its cause we both like gabbing

sweatyferretsunited · 08/08/2008 00:06

I'm off to bed, I suspect I know where you are off to Shabs......there is a thread just appeared and I just get the feeling you are jumping into it with tissues and tea and empathy.

Anyway, this ferret is off to bed.

Trips, hope today has been ok. Love to you. Love to Matthew. I, for one, never tire of hearing about him.

Night girls. Long, tight and peaceful remember xxxxxx.

shabster · 08/08/2008 00:06

Tell you what Frumpster - he has been sending me hysterical messages on FBook and if I can get tickets for any of the shows I will do my best. He is a lovely lad - although I havent seen him since the leavers assembly 1995 - when we were invited to Matts leavers assembly and many tears were shed! He is very easy on the eye - although I do think that is quite possible very illegal!!! My matt would be going mad and saying 'Mother he is only a tiny bit older than me you sweaty ferret!!'

shabster · 08/08/2008 00:07

Night honey...all will be well!

frumpygrumpy · 08/08/2008 00:09

ILLEGAL YOU SAY!!!! Go Thelma, take me there

shabster · 08/08/2008 00:20

You, my darling friend, are a CERISE PINKFROG - the brightest Pinkfrog on the planet!!

frumpygrumpy · 08/08/2008 00:24

What a lovely thing to say! Night Thelma xxx.

shabster · 08/08/2008 00:31

Night honey - Go Jason, Go Jason, Go Jason.

We could knit tshirts between us - what colour should we have????

shabster · 08/08/2008 01:36

Having a discussion on MN about moving out of London to some leafy pasture. FGS I lived in the London area for a few years and managed loads of different pubs. The woman who posted first keeps telling me how I am lucky that I come from the North where stuff is 'obviously wonderful' PMSL!! Why do I bother....cant help it.

shabster · 08/08/2008 08:28

Morning G&T

frumpygrumpy · 08/08/2008 10:14

Morning!

its me, I need advice

shabster · 08/08/2008 10:33

Not ignoring you mighty Frumpster but Tom is wrestling me off the computer!!

Brilliant announcement:-

Em, Dan and Lew are coming for their Sunday dinner Not seen Ems for 2 weeks - I know it may seem daft to be so thrilled BUT I cant wait to see all of them - together - as a proper family.

Em just texted and said what made her think was when Dan told her that he adores her and what a wonderful mummy she is. She also mentioned that he is making decisions and thinks he is the boss LOL I have no idea who told him to do that.

All will be just bloody fine.....just fine!

frumpygrumpy · 08/08/2008 10:37

Great news pinkfrog! I'm off to phone the docs......

ChopsTheDuck · 08/08/2008 14:41

so glad they are getting sorted out, shabs.

Went off to group today, and was chatting with a mum not seen in ages. Turns out they think their dd has dyspraxia, like my ds1. We were comparing symptoms etc, and talking about sensory issues and how ds1 hates sticky and messy crafts and I turned round to find ds1 making a picture with GLITTER and GLUE! I think I'm going to have to frame it.

I'm now off to cook up an indian feast for 2n. Been so good with the diet for weeks, only got 2lbs to lose before holiday, and I am craving spicy bhajia and paneer tikka.
