Evening girls...everybody happy??

Finally got Tomster off the computer and up to his newly decorated and carpeted bedroom. Its really lovely in there. White ceiling and sky (Manchester City) blue on the walls. It makes the room look double its size - he has all his treasures in there and looks very cosy. Just our bedroom to do now and we have decorated and carpeted the house in about 3 weeks.

Phew I am cream crackered.

Ems and Dan took Lew for his first injection today and to see the doctor for Ems. You will never guess what he reckons she has 'PND!!!!' Has given her some different AD and is making her an appointment with a psyciatrist (sp??) cause Dan insisted he wanted her to see the guy he went to. My son has found his assertive head and she is responding so much better than when he has his dithering head on. This is also her second night at home.....she phoned me apologising for shutting me out and guess what I said 'No you didn't love I am just glad you are sorting it all out!!'

Oh shabs some positive news at last, I'm really glad. Any news on Beth?

I'm not posting too much at the moment, but am looking in and thinking of you all.

Ooogs how goes the sickness? Mine all gone! I forget i am pregnant half the time, am 17 weeks! Too fast...

Beth is still the same - sedated and ventilator on. They have found two quite nasty infections and her temp is high. She has been in this predicament before but my niece sounds very low and almost defeated.

I keep ringing the intensive care ward where the staff are wonderful (Gareth spent several days there) the male staff nurse keeps saying 'Shelley your Aunty Shabbs is on the phone!!'

This has been a strange year so far.......lots of highs and many lows.....normal family life really I suppose.

Have you in my prayers Shabs, you and all of yours!

Hiya G & T - I think the key to Dans change of attitude was when he rang me to tell me the truth about his family I told him about Beth and I couldn't stop crying. I told him get up to Ems mums get your partner and child and take them home. You are so very lucky to have a healthy baby, a much loved baby and a family who adore you all. Stop treading on eggshells with Em - get up there and tell her about Beth and how blessed we, as a family, are. Beth, bless her, has started the turn around in my darling sons life.

...and, yes, I totally agree with the Officer and a Gentleman thing and the best line of all time from Dirty Dancing 'nobody puts Baby in a corner.'

Not 100% sure Mars, I like the sound of Exploring Science but worry about the math element so maybe the Science starts here (10points) course and the Introduction to Social Sciences course (60p).

My husband is home soooon, he is in for the of his life, when he left i was sick as a dog and going to bed at 8 pm. My newly retyned and particualrly raging libido has been unchecked for 6 weeks!!!!
