Tigs, I don't leave til Monday.....I'm busy packing and wading through the ocean of mess that seems to be my house. I'll send the chopper, I could do with you.......

Where is your young man today? If you don't want to mention him thats fine x.

Can you have a bath for hours and read?
Nap?
Go to a movie? (I've been to plenty alone, no-one bats an eyelid)
Do your nails and toes?

Hi Momma - how pants about your dishwasher. Hope you start to feel better soon!

I have had a really nice day - DH bought me a voucher for a Jo Malone facial for Christmas and I had a real nightmare trying to book it - their facialist was leaving and they just couldnt give me a date and it turned into a real hassle. Anyway I finally had it today and it was divine, and then they gave me a free perfume and some free cleanser - bonus!!

I then went round Leeds looking at the shops......sadly it was the sales and it was full of crap! So I didnt end up getting anything, boooooooo.

DH has just gone out for curry and I am having a nice glass of cold white.....bliss.....

TiggerLicious · 28/06/2008 19:59

The Eagle has landed!!! Shabs has made it onto terra firma and like any good holiday maker has dumped her bags and gone to the bar!!!!

Sorry FG!!!
'Young man' lives many miles away just waiting for him to call. Had a really embarrassing phone call with him because he was using feckin hands free whilst driving. I spent most of it going Eh? What? Parden? like some deaf old bird So not sexy at all PMSL

He is coming to stay soon which I am crapping myself about!!!!! If things....you know ......what am I going to do?!!!!! I don't think there is a room dark enough to make me feel comfortable...
Have I shared too much?

oooggs · 28/06/2008 20:02

Momma, can you cancel it? You need it now!!!!

Tigs, I agree with Momma, there is never too much on here! Right, we've gotta get your head in the right place for this. Whats the worst thing that could happen? And what bits of you do you feel crap about? I believe that anything with a smile wins through.

Shabs has landed? Wow, that is fab!!!

Ooogs, 3 weeks sounds great but, as someone said to me, at this age with 3 kids, it is just childcare in a different place...........

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 28/06/2008 20:17

Why do I get the feeling that Shabs will be on here before the night is done.........

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 28/06/2008 20:18

By Tuesday the novelty will be gone but tonight......my bladder tells me so.......

Momma, I rounded up, thats all you need x.

oooggs · 28/06/2008 20:19

true fg - shame we can't bundle all the dps and dcs in your castle and run off on our own for 3 weeks

just imagine all 18(ish) of us lazing by the pool >>>

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 28/06/2008 20:20

Tomorrow afternoon I will have about 62 seconds in a bookshop to choose 2/3 books to read on my hols. The lovely HM sent me Random Acts of Heroic Love and One Thousands Splendid Suns (both FANTASTIC btw!!!).

Can anyone recommend something I can just grab fast?

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 28/06/2008 20:21

Ooogs, that would be such a great laugh. If we all booked the same week, in the same sun, my god, we would have a BALL!!!!! One day.......one day.........

helllooooo girls - just cooking pizza and trying to work up an appetite, feeling quite sick again.

Had a lovely lie in while DH did kids, then we spent this afternoon in the garden digging up bits of mud ready for our fence to be fitted. Needless to say boys were caked in mud.

DH has now gone out for a well earned pint, after first putting kids in bed

Just gonna check pizza

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 28/06/2008 20:25

Momma, you take all the time my love. You are an ill woman with young babes and a job to boot. You take all the time. XXXXXX

Neeerly3 · 28/06/2008 20:59

eaten pizza, feel worse!

FG - why aren't u packing!

triplets · 28/06/2008 22:13

Hells Bells what am I going to do without Shabby and FG? FG, where abouts in Mallorca, you know I have a great love for that island, lots of very happy memories, soooooo wish we were going, but glad for you Shabs will be well away by now, I just hope the house thing doesnt play on her mind and spoil things, what rotten timing, dy think she`s got her tassles out by now Fantastic weather here today, long may it last, esp as we will probably be grounded this summer now. We are lucky though to have the sea, lovely rock pools, so hopefully we can escape down there when we need to. Sorry to all of you feeling down in the dumps, tomorrow is another day, always remember xx

accordiongirl · 28/06/2008 22:27

Oh, thanks for asking so spontaneously, FG...

DP and I are going for one night to a posh HOTEL for a lie in to celebrate the tenth anniversary of our first shag getting together. Ten years! Phew-ee.

And THEN the week after that it's our accordion concert. Looks like I'll be definitely wrecking the concert playing a solo.

And then it's the holidays ra ra!

Speaking to self: surely all that will be enough to get me into the round-up NEXT time? What else does a girl have to do that doesn't involve bananas...

HarrogateMum · 28/06/2008 22:33

AG - I would love to meet you in RL - I always piss myself at your posts!

HarrogateMum · 28/06/2008 22:34

shabster · 28/06/2008 22:34

Girls, girly girly girls.....I am in the bar and doing a pop quiz and I cant see the end of my pisching arms. I will come back tomorrow in a more sober state

Much love to each and every one of you. Faliraki is as wonderful as ever and I have a very sweaty moustache

Do it in the dark then Tigger in the good old fashioned way! Or outdoors so you've got an excuse for not getting fully nekkid...?

Er... do you think I've got a bad attitude...?

HarrogateMum · 28/06/2008 22:35

PS FG - currently reading Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It is FAB, I cant put it down.

With those words am off to read it in bed! Night all (Shabby, are you lurking???)

accordiongirl · 28/06/2008 22:37

Gee shucks, thanks HM, that'sh nice.

accordiongirl · 28/06/2008 22:37
