Good morning girls.

Had an interesting hour with landlords father last night

We get on very well and in between us BOTH crying he said 'I know you have to have 8 weeks notice.' 'I am going to speak to my son and make him extend it further because there is no point in leaving this house empty whilst he is trying to sell it.' We can apply for two houses per week with our council and my friend Jo is going to look through the list and apply on my behalf whilst we are away. We applied for one yesterday and because we have been on the list for many years we will be given priority.

Danny and Em have a three bedroomed house and Emma said last night 'If you dont get anything you can move in with us and then we can contact the council and say we are overcrowded.' I said that they didnt need the added mither of us lot and she said 'I want you with us why do you think I am saying it and not dan - you are my second mum.'

I have to stop crying right this minute

All will be well......

HarrogateMum · 27/06/2008 12:05

oooh shabs did you get something nice....

I have been a busy bee this morning, made a choc cake with the kids, then a quiche and now a casserole for their lunch......and I wonder why I am always knackered, I find it impossible to just sit down!

shabster · 27/06/2008 12:19

Hiya HM.

Beautiful travel case with beautiful make up in and a necklace......all things I would have picked for myself if I could afford to buy them. I am so giddy.

Could I just thank everyone on the multiples, eris' thread and the sanctuary....for their words of encouragement, for all the times they made me laugh (and cry) for the beautiful cards and gifts. Danny and Em are overwhelmed with everyones thoughtfulness and my grandson is the best dressed kid on the block

Most of all would like to thank everyone for their friendship, wise words, and help. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Im not going anywhere right this minute just wanted to thank everyone.

I know you're not off to Hawaii but you are off to where the sun shines and to where your young man is waiting to give you sex on the beach in a glass. Let not the clouds of housemove dampen your spirit ma lass. Pick up your skirts and RUN like the wind. YOUR HOLIDAY IS HERE

I am having my usual pre-holiday panic and trying to stay calm. Please forgive me if I hoover late into the night and please pass me any stray beta blockers you find down the back of the fridge.

And breathe.

lets all wear one

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 27/06/2008 12:32

Ruby, you're gorgeous x.

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 27/06/2008 12:34

HM, mind if I pop in? Casserole and chocolate cake sounds right up my hoover, gob, mouth, cakehole, street

HarrogateMum · 27/06/2008 12:51

feel free FG - just munching the quiche and the kids leftover casserole now....they were rubbish and only ate their mashed potato....

PLus the top half of the cake broke in two so I had to sandwich it together with extra choc icing!

Ruby - arent you lovely!

TiggerLicious · 27/06/2008 13:16

he did however offer to pack all my shopping away and make me a cup of tea!!!!

Who likes banannas? For some reason I ordered 5 bags and we shall be living off pasta because I ordered dog biscuit bag size!!!!

TiggerLicious · 27/06/2008 13:17

Oh update on mother she now has informed me that she will not be taking either mine or DH's side They are ganging up on me!!!!!

Shabs hows the Knoblord? Any news yet?.x.

shabster · 27/06/2008 14:17

Im gonna grab your mam round the neck and donkey scrub her in a minute sorry Tiggs no offence to you or your mam....

The knoblord is back down in London - We are taking one key that opens our double glazed front and back doors and the other key is being left with Boltons equivalent to your Mad Mike. He is a wonderful bloke - we are godparents to his little lad. He is going to feed Cena, file our post in the bin (joke) and is on total Knoblord alert.

Have also left my elderly next door neighbours on Knoblord alert....just noticed they have re-positioned their armchairs to full watch out of the window mode.....

have a good couple of weeks everyone and make sure there's lots of new gossip for my return

xxx

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 27/06/2008 17:35

Tigs!!! Was he niiiice? Fantastic. Y'see, all tesco delivery men are just great, even if they're not all swoontastic. I too have made mistakes like your heap of bananas......... i have a piss easy scrumcious recipe for banana muffins which is good for later in the week if you still have a pile and they are starting to look wilted.

Pazza, breathe in and out, thats all you have to do at this point. Good luck with it all and hope you enjoy xxxx.

Shabs, are you wearing your housecoat? And what will you be doing this time tomorrow?

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 27/06/2008 17:36

And well done to Bran!!! Why are you not allowed to shout? B'stards. Glad you rode that one

shabster · 27/06/2008 17:38

I am almost packed, almost cleaned my house, almost, almost, almost....feeling sooooooooooo tired!!! Think this weeks events have taken their toll. We are having a 'tipsy table farewell' at Josters tonight!! Another friend, who is joining us, has a bottle of ouzo (disgusting stuff) so I suppose it would be rude to not have a few drinks.......I will be home at a reasonable time cause there is still loads of stuff that is almost, almost done!! Have a good time Pazz.

Frumpster if all goes according to plan we should be flying over Athens this time tomorrow and starting our descent into Rhodes As soon as we see the outline of Crete we know we are only about 20 mins away from home.

What I have on is worse than Grandad Don's housecoat. I look so scruffy that people keep offering me money to buy a cup of tea... Even though I know I dont I feel like I stink ROFL.

OP posts:
shabster · 27/06/2008 17:44

Frumpster do you want to meet at the Alabahma bar or should we just go down to Aquarius beach bar and see the beautiful one - Nikos? Up to you love - I'm easy

OP posts:
iamdingdong · 27/06/2008 17:46

did I hear ice cubes

shabs if i don't get back here before you leave, have a fab time, you deserve a really lovely holiday and landlord's dad sounds like a gem, I hope he kicks his son's *rse for you

fg when/where are you off? I must have missed that, along with about 300 other things!

DTs are exhausted tonight and having picnic tea whilst watching cinderella, which is a bit of a treat for them, and hopefully not a slippery decline into slummymumness
