Ants at this time of the year? I dont drive either and that makes me feel so useless now when I should. Passed my test first time in 87 and hated it, terrified. Just feel as though I have no confidence, now I shall have to rely on lifts to school, hospital etc. Feel so useless myself. Just been doing what I know I shouldnt, reading up about secondaries, but I am a bugger for wanting to know the facts!

This many ants only live in Spain or Greece. Not in bloody freezing cold Bolton. We probably brought them home in our cases in October!! I need to drag this desk out of the alcove tommorow - bet there is a kebab under it!!!!!!!!!

shabster · 31/03/2008 00:03

I would give my right arm to be Nancy - Umpah pah Umpah pah thats how it goes!! You need a full skirt to do that song and dance. Me and my playground friends call that kind of skirt - a cockney skirt!! Yes, we are mentally ill

We saw Oliver in the West End about 3 times in 1978 when we had the pub in Stanmore, Middlesex. They are just the greatest songs of all times.

There's a little ditty, they're singing in the city........................

triplets · 31/03/2008 00:07

shabster · 31/03/2008 00:10

It was a woman with a short blonde/fair bob but I dont know her name. She seemed a little older than the others and sang like a good 'un when they chucked her out. Will find out her name and let you know.

Talking of arms has reminded me of my 50th b/day present from my friends. They al clubbed together and gave me a voucher for spa treatment. I had Lizzie, a beautiful girl from Kerala in India, she was massaging my arms and told me I had lucky arms!! Lucky?

shabster · 31/03/2008 00:12

triplets · 31/03/2008 00:14

Umpah pah is the best song in the whole musical.

Toms year did an assembly last year all about the songs from Oliver (yes because it is a very religious topic ) my friend Jo and I sat quietly, at first, with all the other mums.

By the time they got to Umpah pah we were banging our feet on the floor, swishing our skirts and singing full blast. Tom was like this and
