Awww Mars - DH (if he was in!!) would be on the canvas banging his hand on the floor if he read your last post.

He is a trotter - a Bolton Wanderers fan!!

As you can see, I am keeping very quiet because I am a Man City fan and we were, quite frankly, terrible today

shabster · 30/03/2008 09:00

Morning ladies.

Everybody ok? Well DH paid his portion of the money for his Mums headstone yesterday...which leaves us broke trying to get the money together for hols!! DH is in a blind, worrying panic and I know we will make it Also didn't win the lottery!! Maybe take out a second mortgage on our rented house while our Landlord is in Pakistan for the next month or even sell the Landlords posh car which is still parked in my backyard!!

On Tuesday my DS1 and his DP are THIRTY weeks pregnant - and Not long now till me meet our first Granbaby - it is so exciting. I keep thinking of the song 'circle of life' think its from the Lion King film. Lewis really is our 'circle of life.' There were times along the way that I doubted any of us would ever survive - but..........yeah I cant wait to see him.

Trips - Dan and Em send all their love. I hope you dont mind I told them what is happening with you. They both love the idea of Lewis having an Honarary Grandma (especially a posh one!!)

MarsLady · 30/03/2008 09:46

Momma... you are desperately needed here!

shabster · 30/03/2008 10:16

Morning Mars - I want a rebelboboromp - one with attitude!!

piximon · 30/03/2008 12:45

Afternoon all. What am I supposed to do with DS1 who won't stop being naughty? Today he sneaked downstairs and attacked all the sweeties my mum bought in town yesterday. When I asked him what he was up to he said "I came down to love you" I was in bed in the living room he was in the kitchen...he then went upstairs and called to his sister "dd1 come see the scratches on the wall now". I snuck upstairs (as quietly as a beached whale can sneak lol) only to find marks all over his wall. When asked he blames his sister for everything, despite the fact he is caught in the act. Help.

Have moved him out of the room he's been sharing with DD1 and put him in box room as punishment so tonight I'll see what it's like to have DD1 sharing the big room with the DTs.

Have finally got myself organised enough to start packing my hospital bag. Still not ready for this one. If it stays in till fri evening DH will be able to come down without having to loose any further wages (and I know he'd like to be at the birth), and then DS1 would be on school holidays for two weeks. Not sure I can manage another week though.

Hoochie come do my French for me. I have a client on route to hospital (I'm waiting to see if she needs me to go and so I can't concentrate). You know you want to. It's only 200 words! Sigh...........

Pixi... if this one gives birth tonight and the next one in a couple of days I'll be free to come catch your baby (unless Momma does my French then I'll leave the honour to her)

Mars I could help if I could do it in a mixture of 'holiday' french, spanish and greek. I can order beer and food in all three languages and swear and say rude words. If that is of any help? No? OK cant blame a girl for trying

MarsLady · 30/03/2008 17:01

That'll do Shabby! That'll do!

I learnt an Egyptian swearword yesterday. lol

frumpygrumpy · 30/03/2008 17:06

a girl can get sick of lemsip can't she. Bloody flu. Am much better but still have no energy. I'm sure Mars got mine at the dishing out ceremony........

Pixi, keep those knees together and above waist height!

Momma, are you still husbandless?

shabster · 30/03/2008 17:15

snorris · 30/03/2008 19:57

Evening,just checking in.

Trips, sorry it wasn't better news. As others have said we're here for you whenever you need us.

I've ordered a boboromp!! It had better not be a rebel one though

shabster · 30/03/2008 21:06

The Prince of Darkness has gone to bed - it is school tommorow - thank God for that.

Even though he is very bright he hasn't yet grasped the fact that it is really 8 pm!! Give him a few minutes though.

Is everybody ok? Trips - everything alright?

just popping for a quickie, so to speak! DTs have been off colour, sore throats and slight rashes for 2-3 days, but much better today so I hope they'll be ok for nursery tomorrow, they managed to go and see enchanted at the cinema this morning, then have lunch at pizza express folowwed by a long walk in the woods on the way home, so can't be too ill Shabs, they were in bed at about 6.15, which is not that unusual since they're out of the house by 7.30 weekdays, but I was waiting for the protests about the sun still shining, the noisy birds, the fact that their clock still said it was 5.15 but nothing, bless them

Hope everyone else has had a lovely day, will now read up on what I've missed...
