dingdong - what is that all about with cod? Is she dyslexic or is it supposed to be funny? I was on a thread today and she was posting under a different name and giving some poor girl a hard time - but it was obvious it was here. Please explain to me cause I dont get it

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:28

Rubster re: cod

Shabster, I frequently sing that song to my DTs when I'm having a moment. They are fascinated, they keep asking "whats troosers mama" and get me to replace the name Donald with their own names so I have to sing it over and over and over

Why do I persist in typing [groin]

Should I book an 8pm slot, y'know, in time for dinner? Ask DP to pop to the gym? I could ask Tescoboy if he'd like to slip into something more comfortable than his neon tabard. Like my thighs. PMSL. I'm off to Google whether anyone has been jailed for harassing delivery men boys ...........

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:35

yes frumpster they may have been jailed but surely its worth a few months - they have computers in jail you could still post on mumsnet (and shop at Tesco's on line)

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:44

Ta Rubes - just would be nice to have a good spend now and then! We are very lucky though because we always get our holiday in faliraki - but that means saving and being as tight as a ducks arse possible for 50 weeks.

Worth it when we are there though! The owner and staff at the hotel think we are loaded they dont see us in the apartment dividing the euros for each day though.

Oh it will be alright on the night.

rubes

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 22:59

shabs, why the incapacity benefit? Who gives a toss where you shop/how many diamonds you have. None of it matters. Only wine, women and song matter

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 23:00

sorry that sounds very flippant.

shabster · 12/03/2008 23:11

frumpster - DH had accident a few years ago and still has two slipped discs, also loads of different problems with his spine. We have always both worked so it is hard to not work and we both feel very lazy.

You didn't sound flippant my lovley - I just like having a moan every now and then cause we save like mad for our 2 weeks of drunken behaviour sunshine and I cant have my own way!!! Im going to do a wee and stamp in it

MarsLady · 12/03/2008 23:14

I'm in. Just going to watch "So you think you can dance" then I'm off to bed.

Have a large glass of red on the go and a large B&J's half baked to consume!

Start to pray girls... my busy spell starts NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frumpster - I always used to get done off Mars but we are ok now

My behaviour was bad though!!

shabster · 12/03/2008 23:19

Rubester - you made me jump out of my pisching skin.

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 23:19

PMSL at Mars' busy spell starting

If she stops, someone dust her.

shabster · 12/03/2008 23:29

Me and DH having an argument heated debate about where New Zealand is. I said 'I will get tomsters globe down from the top of the bookcase and prove to you its next to Australia.' Up I climbed - got the globe - it was about 2inches thick in dust. I tried wiping it quietly but Hitler DH noticed. Awww - I tried saying things like 'I'm rushed off my feet all day and night!!'
