this is what I looked like after Rubes LOL

I can't seem to shift the weight I put on after giving up smoking (she wonders whilst eating a packet of wotsits and a cheese sandwich) so I have been trying to go further and further every day th thing is the more I walk....the hungrier I get

TiggerRiffick · 14/03/2008 11:55

Oh FG!!!!!

I am so sorry!!!!!!!!

Are you sure...you didn't....err.....scare him off last time?

snorris · 14/03/2008 12:05

I just had my Tesco shop delivered too. I never get any interesting drivers . Very polite though. I did have to complain about my delivery today (normally very good). I ordered a cake for dd4's birthday on Sunday and the one they sent has tomorrow's date on it [hmmm]. Not the end of the world I know, but for 8 blimmin quid I would have hoped they could do better than that. Anyway, they will be refunding the full amount .

HM I'm quite happy to book the room but TKB also said she would. I haven't "seen" her for ages & I've got no other way of getting in contact. I don't want to book and then find she's done it too!

My fruit n veg delivery guy is just creepy. Can't put my finger on why though. Even my husband thinks he's a bit odd...

duchesse · 14/03/2008 12:25

ooggs- yes, quite...

duchesse · 14/03/2008 12:26

she's about 21 weeks now, the twins turn 2 in the 3rd week in April, so she might conceivably (but let's hope not) make it 5 under 2. [gulp]

triplets · 14/03/2008 12:37

Now guess what? I just got in to a message on my answer phone, my doctor wants to see me about my blood test result..........don`t think I can take much more atm

shabster · 14/03/2008 12:42

chin up trips - could be something and nothing. OMG Im getting on my own nerves today trying to be chirpy. Just ignore me trips.

PazzaPlusTwo · 14/03/2008 12:47

I've had both my meters changed and a sofa delivered in the last few weeks and they have all been mingers.

Leccy man was the friendliest, but he askied to use to loo just b4 he left and I don't know what kind of roadkill he'd been eating but my lord I had to have the windows open for HOURS!!! If it happens to you, just say "sorry, we don't have a toilet but you're welcome to use the compost bin at the end of the garden, but watch out for the rats".

Has anyone seen 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape'? It's a brilliant film with Johnny Depp as a small-town store assistant who does 'deliveries with benefits' ...

Hi,
I know this is pathetic but I just want to cry today and don`t need anything else to worry about! So fed up atm, fed up with doctors and hospitals and tests and just want things to be back to normal. Just opened the post and got a lovely card from Piximon, she is being so kind, thank you Pixi.

PazzaPlusTwo · 14/03/2008 12:49

re MINGERS - the delivery men that is, not the sofa, the sofa is brilliant and a gorgeous milk chocolate colour

PazzaPlusTwo · 14/03/2008 12:58

Triplets I would never try and cheer you up in a stupid way!!!

I hope you are o.k Triplets,I ususally miss posting to you as either you are on late at night or I am flouncing away. (shuurrup)
I don't know much about blood tests or Doctors policies, but hopefully its just some silly clause that doctors have where they have to give you your results in person,or could be something simple that they can sort out whilst you are in the surgery?

frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2008 15:23

I would adore Johnny Depp to deliver my shopping. Em, I suspect that is it. The young boy probably asked his boss not to ever send him to the "drooling, auld wifey up the way" ever again. Just to be sure of that, I might order a couple of deliveries each day to cover all shift patterns

Triplets, could you ask for a consultation by phone, say later today to save you hanging on? Sometimes my doctor would phone me between patients or at the end of surgery to discuss something if I was worried about the children. You are hanging on for quite enough I think and some solid answers, quickly, would be good. The more info you have the better IMHO. Do anything to keep your mind busy. Drink tea and sit on here if thats what gets you through. Or empty cupboards and chuck things out (my favourite therapy). Keep talking xxxx.

Momma, do you have twins? Jeez, i thought you just liked it here

duchesse, definitely don't put your finger on your creepy delivery man! One day your delivery prince will come.......
