DD is talking! She is over under the activity arch saying "ooooooh" instead of "waaaah wahhh". And she has smiled at me THREE TIMES today [proud].

Egg · 13/03/2008 14:40

I love milk. Could drink pints and pints. Esp full fat milk. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

shabster · 13/03/2008 14:41

trips - you are not a bad mummy cause you hated expressing the milk. It was, with great relief, that my milk did a Thelma and Louise and left the chest area, I hated it so much that I bottle fed Mattie. Fed Tomster for 6 months (he loved it but I could take it or leave it.)

If you tell the mighty Tomster he was bobos feed now he pretends to be sick

ChopsTheDuck · 13/03/2008 14:41

aww, egg!

I can't really remember any of my boys first noises. I remember dd's. She started gurgling away at my mum in mothercare, we were floored by it.

shabster · 13/03/2008 14:42

or even 'bobos fed!!'

DS2 spoke a couple of days ago. He was all up for a long chat but I was busy on MN (like now when poor DD tried it). No wonder they don't bother more often .

Suppose I had better go and feed them.

ROFL at tomster pretending to puke at being bobo fed. I guess at age 10 the thought of sucking on your mother's bobos is quite horrifying (in fact, at any age past about 5 I imagine).

shabster · 13/03/2008 14:51

Egg - tomster just had the dreaded S E X ed at primary. He came home and announced:-

'Never, ever, think Dan and Em are good
people ever again. I know what they have
done to get our Lewis' 'Dont think Im
gonna talk to Dan ever again for doing
that to Em '

Egg · 13/03/2008 15:04

Hehe shabs, does he think Dan stabbed poor Em with his "sword"!

Got to feed babies now. Have ignored them long enough.

Excited as my baa baa blinds have just arrived. DS1 has been waking up much too early lately and I think it is because his curtains are almost see through. He used to have a blackout blind at our old house but can't fit one here as are only renting so am trying the travel type ones. Will report back tomorrow. He will of course sleep til 9am with these .

MarsLady · 13/03/2008 15:06

I remember that stage in DS1. He came home from school and said

"Mum... I know all about how sex works. Me and the lads have agreed. We are never having sex!"

"Good boy!" I replied!

oooggs · 13/03/2008 15:32

don't think I found any twin books helpful - I have the GF & Alice Beer one, Baby Secrets (Jo Tantum & Baraba Want)
