snorris - like the sound of your bats (sorry kids) they sound like my kind of nutters

snorris · 22/02/2008 18:23

complex even .

30! I wish!! I'm nearer 40! (I hate admitting that!!)

snorris · 22/02/2008 18:25

Nutters is the right word! They've got one hell of an imagination! I guess that's what happens when you ignore them!!

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:29

chops - 30 - tis nothing my love. 50 - now thats a pile of poo!!

You're as old as the man you are feeling - and speaking about men - Mamafg's fella is very lurverly - you just watch she will be the next one to post on here!! Im keeping my perving of his pictures on facebook down to twice a day

TripleyTigger · 22/02/2008 18:32

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:35

Aw ta Chops, I thought the age gap was a little large.

TTigger - ha ha ha with George Clooney. Ive got a picture of me stood with a statue of Joe Mercer outside Manchester Citys new football stadium if that counts. George Clooney Sure its not George Clancey who lives two roads away from me??

frumpygrumpy · 22/02/2008 18:47

Wow, bed by 6pm! They won't sleep though will they? Will they?

Overrun, sometimes the DTs get so tired (after nursery) that a quick bath early leaves them to chill out with playing or telly and the pressure is off me. I don't have to face the bathttime shouting routine at a time of night when I'm exhausted. They actually end up in bed at the same time (bout 7pm/7.30pm on a weekend) but we all seem more relaxed. Some days my DD1 showers and puts her jamas on when she gets in from school. I would love to do that but someone always seems to ring the bell and I'd be mortified! (I'm not meant to say mortified, I saw someone moaning about that expression on another thread, I'm meant to say horrified. But up here is it mortified.)

Right, chip buttie is in hand to keep me going and my glass is full

What will I wear? Could be the negligee after all.........Mars posted me hers......

frumpygrumpy · 22/02/2008 18:48

is even [daft wombat]

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:51

frumpyg - you sound like a Northern lass to me!! No further up than Yorkshire. Why dont you give us some clues and we can guess? Bagsy being Aneka Rice and running to the helicopter with my big fat bum wobbling

Stop the clock, stop the clock I've found a clue.......

TripleyTigger · 22/02/2008 18:52

Chops I wish it was!!! She was a real Bleep at school and I was hoping she was a minger PMSL. Her husband is stood with that girl from Scary Movie Nieve something

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:52

I am conducting a serious survey as to what star signs are the multiple/shag pile mumsnetters - I think we may have a Saggitarius or Scorpio majority. All answers will be kept confidential

HarrogateMum · 22/02/2008 18:53

are you doing the negligee thing FG? I may have to rethink my outfit, the bacofoil is chafing a bit, if you know what I mean. Perhaps I will put on that kaftan I bought from the back of the Sunday Times magazine

Dts running around like mad things and poor DD just sat bemused on the sofa. OH, wait, I hear screaming, back soon.......

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:54

Tigger - deep breathing, nice thoughts. Who gives a flying feck who she's stood near - I bet she has nobody who could really care less about her and certainly not a lovely family like wot you have

Whats your birth sign?

HarrogateMum · 22/02/2008 18:55

Shabs - you dont need clues about FG, she lives north of the border, if yae know what I mean HEN! In a castle no less. Did you like my Scottish accent FG?

HarrogateMum · 22/02/2008 18:56

Shabs - I'm a VIRGO, pure as the driven snow me. Ahem. But rght on the cusp with LEO. My DTs are Scorpio though, and DD is Sagittarius!

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:57

Ta HM - see cause Im still quite a newby here Im not sure about everybodys deepest darkest secrets. I didnt think she would be as Northern as that - I bet she lives near me in Bolton (or Notlob as I lovingly call it)

TripleyTigger · 22/02/2008 18:59

Yes you are right Shabs thank you

I am a.......................libra!!!

shabster · 22/02/2008 19:00

HM - Virgo likes making lists, quite ordered in their way of thinking

Not that I am biased but I love saggi's and Aries men are usually arrogant but delicious

shabster · 22/02/2008 19:02

Just knew it Tigger - a scorpio, saggi and libra majority - oh yes HM and one or three virgins (sorry virgos)

shabster · 22/02/2008 19:05

Just going to corner shop - do they have them darn sarth or is it just us blady norfurners for Ben 10 stickers for the poorly one. Back in a mo

snorris · 22/02/2008 19:34

I'm Libra too but on the cusp of Virgo . My dt's are...wait for it...Gemini! Lol!

shabster · 22/02/2008 19:39

Gemini's are somewhat scary!! Although my lovley sons partner is one and is just a delight - also new granbaby will be a gemini.

Im a saggi and have found that, in general, they are nutters. Like Aries men. My DH is Libra - ha ha and here's me saying I like Aries men

I only believe horoscopes if they are good but I love characteristics of different star signs they are often right.

frumpygrumpy · 22/02/2008 19:49

HM, well done hen! Now, practice, "if ye ken whit ah mean", "gaunie naw dae that", "awa an bile yer heid", "see you lavvy heid, your gettin it".

Shabster, I'm from Edinburgh. HM thinks I live in a big castle and have my own helicopter. I can't remember why....... Edinburgh is a big toon with only one castle and one palace for HM herself

YIKES!! I'm not dressed yet! Got to read to the end of the current Tiara Princess story first.......
