OH NO I don't even own a ball gown I think I am just going to stick to my boring mummyish outfit of a cord skirt from Sainsburys and a jumper When did I get so staid?
A stiff G&T is called for methinks

shabster · 22/02/2008 17:14

I have decided it is 1973, on my planet, for the rest of the day. dont know why?

I am going to meet my first love - now fondly known as the ginger whinger. When I get off the No: 14 bus (pronounced buz in bolton) and see him sitting on the wall waiting for me - I am going to walk towards him, smiling, and pushing out my bossoms. Then I am going to put my arms around his neck, making sure not to pull his ginger hair - remember it is the 70's and boys all had long hair. Then I am going to repeat the words he said to me in 1973.

'My mum says I cant go out with you anymore cause you live in a council house and I dont love you' THEN I am going to push him over the wall!!

You are right Fgrumpy - I have got verbal shite (I cant spell dioreeena)

HarrogateMum · 22/02/2008 17:16

well now that the beans on toast are done and dusted I may pour myself a sneaky G&T..........

Overrun · 22/02/2008 17:16

What a poignant trip down memory lane Shabster, here have a drink, or have you already started

shabster · 22/02/2008 17:17

overrun - Im keeping on my silver jump suit and my platforms. What should our songs consist of this evening:-

I will survive - Gloria Gaynor (save this till last)

Naked in the rain - for the youngsters.

Third finger, left hand - for anybody aged about 40 and over OR who loves good music.

shabster · 22/02/2008 17:19

overrun - you will know when I have had a drink I will have the following conversation with you:-

I weally weally wuv you - you are the best friend I have ever had - in the world.

Sagapo overrun - i weally wuv you

HarrogateMum · 22/02/2008 17:24

bloody hell, went in to get DD out of high chair, she was looking remarkably clean, cleaned her up and picked her up and she had a lovely row of baked bean "pubes" round her crotch (she is in just vest and top having rid herself of her skirt and tights some hours ago). She is such a greb!

Shabs - I am wearing a silver bacofoil dress with my nipple tassels in honour of Tkb's hen night. And furry deely boppers.

shabster · 22/02/2008 17:26

OOOOHHHHH YYYEEESSS HM - Deely boppers - I was a 70's girl myself - you know fun fur jackets and plenty of tank tops. xx

frumpygrumpy · 22/02/2008 17:31

Perfect timing! As long as the sun has gone down in Sydney.......

HM, my DD1 has showered and I helped her condition her hair (she's 7!!! I didn't find conditioner until later life!) I am bathing my DTs right now, dinner will be with kids in jamas, telly on and then I will open my bar. I am trying to delay gratification. I don't know why

I can hear the DTs fighting over bubbles, facecloths and taps.........zzzzz......

lol Shabster, if I ever completely unprompted tell you every excruciating detail of my life, then you will know that I have had too many
HM, lovely story there, so glad mine are out of hair chairs
Hello FG, perhaps I should get mine bathed before tea sometimes, you have given me for food for thought,as would like them to be in bed a bit earlier each night for a variety of reasons

HarrogateMum · 22/02/2008 17:39

I need to get the bath running for my three so I can get them into bed sooner and RELAX sooner, ready for the grand entrance of tkb, where is she, surely she isnt still shaving her legs??????? Or ironing her dress?????!!!!

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:09

shabster · 22/02/2008 18:10

Pmsl at "auntie knobhead"!

I've managed to get 2 out of 4 into 'jamas-and this is early for me . One is too old to be thinking about bed and the other is leaping around flapping a blanket, telling me she is a bat .

chopster · 22/02/2008 18:19

chopster · 22/02/2008 18:19

chopster · 22/02/2008 18:20

agree about tigger looking so young, that pic taunts me when it pops up on msn! I blame mere twins for looking as old as I do, then THAT pops up!

I'm gonna be 30 this year

snorris · 22/02/2008 18:21
