pixi take it easy, we moved when I was 33 weeks with the DTs and I'm pretty sure that's why they arrived early, so look after yourself

TKB good luck, as FG so wisely says, best to get your bad luck out of the way before the day itself!

listen to her pixi and call her at 3am - you know she'll be awake, the woman never sleeps!

piximon · 21/02/2008 21:14

thanks momma

shabster · 21/02/2008 21:23

TTigger thanks for the cuddle - it was a good one.

I have had Dotster (my mam) on the phone saying 'oh love I hope you didnt watch Emmerdale and then proceeded to tell me the whole story' she is as mad as I am

Babys mum (is it Laurel) was 100 per cent perfect - the only not true to my life fact was the police interview. Ours, mine and DH went on for a gruelling couple of hours.

Right enough sadness any champers left or should I just have my apple juice? Any nuts, not with chocolate on though - save them for Trips on her return.

Good luck Pixie you will be just great with the move

nh101andhertwinbeans · 21/02/2008 22:31

I can't find you on facebook - what is the group called?

frumpygrumpy · 21/02/2008 22:37

shabster, I don't watch Emmerdale as my -crazy-- horses, demons, children are in the midst of story hour then! But I heard it was about cot death. You poor thing. Couldn't watch/coudn't not I take it. Darling xxx.

Pixi, you get that body horizontal. Try to stay that way. One day of hard work must equal one day of hard rest. Please. I want you to be ready and calm. Not under pressure. Hey MommaDoula! , wasn't that what the talloulahfancywuman was calling herself? Whoever she may be.........

shabster · 21/02/2008 22:42

twin beans - you sound like me a couple of days ago about facebook

go onto facebook and put in the search mumsnet.

you then get the results of the search and the first one that comes up is our mumsnet.

when you go onto that it has a discussion board. one of the discussions is about peoples real names.

If you scroll down the profile pictures it will tell you who everybody is and you will recognise the names. Just send them messages and wait for their acceptance.

I was in a right mess with it but have got to grips with it - kind of - now

My profile picture is a particularly sexy lovely one - NOT

have requested to join... I think Theo and ANother are excited - or fighting each other in my tum!

nh101andhertwinbeans · 21/02/2008 22:56

My sisters call them Theo and Cleo (until we find out whether 'Cleo' actually is a girl, and if she is then I am not calling her Cleo!)

shabster · 21/02/2008 22:58

mama - love it when you start introducing food - its great to see their faces. I used to give my DS4 strawberries mashed up because he pulled the weirdest face and it made me laugh - put the phone down, please dont report me to childline.

Just because I have spent the day perving about your lurvely partner ooooooohhhhhhh well it wasn't really me, some of the other multiples made me have a look at the photo's on facebook and then report back to them. I didn't want to do it - they made me.

Are you and your family OK - and your partner - cant even remember now what he looks like -

shabster · 21/02/2008 23:00

twinbeans - well done, bravo.

Theo and Cleo - I like that!!! Theo is an ace name - very manly and strong.

I wish I had known I was having twins - I could have milked that for all it was worth - you know, limped and moaned and rubbed my back

nh101andhertwinbeans · 21/02/2008 23:12

Oh yes, you definitely get to milk it! Unfortunately most of the time the moaning is for real!

shabster · 21/02/2008 23:17

lol - can you imagine if I hadnt got the beginnings of pre-eclampsia I would never have found out there were twins in there until the actual delivery. OMG how weird is that.

We have quite a strong family history (down my mums side of the family) of non identicals and one set of triplets born about 1900. Twins are soooooooo special - not that a singleton isint but twins, I am of you!!

Morning Is it Friday?

DS has coughed until he threw up a couple of times in the night. He is very rarely poorly so last night was unusual. Have to ring doctors at 8.30 for appointment.

chopster · 22/02/2008 08:35

yehayyy, it's friday!!!

Kids back to school soon!

I took them to the garden center yesterday. I should have had more sense really. They got way to overexcited. Shay was pulling up all the seedlings, dd was swinging rav around in circles and ds1 was trying to hide in the trolley. I will never learn.
Then I went to sainsbos and bought a bottle of wine.

I've finally caught up on facebook, I think there are still people I don't have on there though. Have added you shabs.

My plan for the day is to plant my seeds. The dts' plan will to get soil on the floor of at least four different rooms.

WHat's everyone else up to?

shabster · 22/02/2008 08:48

morning chops! I accepted you on facebook - the pleasure was all mine

Our doctors (open for just 6 mins) said sorry we have no appointments left. I raised up on my little, short, fat hairy legs and replied 'I have been awake with my child since before I even went to bed I will bring him at 10.30 and sit in the surgery until he is seen'

To which the teenage (bored) receptionist said 'OK Shabster see you later.' Well she didn't say Shabster but we have to keep our names secret dont we
