TTigger - ta love

How much do you love the word snog?

I just need a young lad (not too young just no ex's or kids) to snog. An old man who lives near me gets me every morning and says 'eh love come and look in my pantry, just done big shop and Ive plenty of good stuff in' My ample bossoms must make him think I need feeding!!

I can find the bad lad who has been in prison if you put me in a room with 100 eligible youngsters

estar · 21/02/2008 16:15

Sorry for being cheeky HM. Only did it for the attention. (And Rachel was on our list of girls names - not that we've ever had chance to use any!)

Ooo, NHbeans, I know the pastor of the Elim church in Formby, he was one of my lecturers. It's going okay, except that the one thing we don't have is time! We're just getting to know the area first before we embark on anything big, although DH has seen this huge abandoned church on the seafront and has begun imagining this huge Wacky Warehouse type church, where we make the inside a huge play area and have little rooms round the side for parenting classes, counselling, divorce recovery, etc. I think that with a team of five of us and very little money, it may take a while to get anywhere near that though! Still its good to dream, eh?

Shabby, have seen a group on FB that you'd like - PK's Universal Truths, including such gems as 'women cannot put mascara on with a closed mouth' and 'everyone remembers the day a dog ran into your schoolyard'.

shabster · 21/02/2008 16:18

Ta estar - on my way to check it now - sounds like that would appeal to my sense of humour x

shabster · 21/02/2008 16:25

You know me too well estar - have now joined the Peter Kay Universal Truths group!!

If you go out tonight give me three rings when you get home - OK estar

tkband3 · 21/02/2008 16:44

I am very dim . Have been looking at facebook and simply cannot work out how to find/join you all there. Will someone please put me out of my misery and help me?!

Had an underwear crisis last night - I'd bought a beautiful bustier thingie to wear under my dress and only tried it on with the dress for the first time last night and it looked awful. You could see the line of it through the dress. So I had to do an unplanned dash into town today, couldn't face Brent Cross, so just made do with local small M&S and dept store. I now have 3 bras, just in case but none of them is beautiful. Still I suppose it doesn't matter that much, we have been together 11 years, so a nice bra isn't going to make that much difference . Also, can you believe I'm expecting AF any day now . If I'd thought about it early enough, the GP could have put me on the pill, but of course I couldn't get an appt at the right time, so it was either an overdose of progesterone, with all the bloating and hormonal reaction to go with that, or just deal with it.

Pixi am so glad to hear about your house. Doubt you'll have a chance to get on-line for a while, but good luck with the move. Hope that's the start of you feeling more settled.

Hello everyone else. 1.5 days to go . Getting quite excited now .

TripleyTigger · 21/02/2008 17:36

Harrogate mum, I was born in Brisbane, my parents are both from NW England which is why we moved back here. They lived there for 14 years and loved it but their ageing folks meant coming back was the only sensible option. I have an Oz passport but would miss my family too much if I went to live there and anyway I love my life here and can't think how it could be bettered (OK, the warmer weather would be nice!)

My sis is out there at the mo with her DH and three kids, just for a year, and is liking it but finding it hard with no help and three kids under 6.

Estar, your church sounds so exciting, I am on the PCC at our church and we are always trying to think of ways to make it more acessible and family friendly. But there is so much opposition from the oldies - they won't even let us get rid of the uncomfy old wooden pews and replace them with lovely padded chairs! What denomination will your church be? I am not CofE by nature (if you see what I mean) it is just the church DH has grown up in. I went to a baptist church in Oz.

I am defiitely going to try to find you guys on Facebook!

shabster · 21/02/2008 18:26

TTigger and thrice

Do Southerners have emergency churs (sorry chairs) we get ours out every xmas. My family are a touch Peter Kay, half a pound of Barbara and Jim from the Royal Family and the rest a bit like The Adams Family.

Me biscuits fallen in me brew - ha ha ha - think that is the show he did at the Bolton Albert Halls - if it is we know at least a dozen people in the audience - usually the ones with the tatoos spelt wrong

shabster · 21/02/2008 18:27

oh yes and by the way Tigger you look about 12 years old - I hate you very much xxxx

tkband3 · 21/02/2008 18:38

Tigger, I've just tried - twice! And for some reason it keeps shutting down . I clicked to add you as a friend (my first one on FB!). Think I found Momma and HM as well though...so I'm getting there, hopefully . Will try again maybe after bedtime.

iamdingdong · 21/02/2008 18:48

god I've just tried changing my email address on FB and managed to lose access to my account so...you are all getting new friends' requests sorry!

piximon · 21/02/2008 19:01

TKB - really wishing everything goes well for you this weekend. I know it's a bit early but my brain is like a sieve and connection keeps dying. Can't wait to see some pics.

Snorris - hope you all got home safely and DD1s rehearsal goes well.

HM - googled map of Harrogate to Exeter, maybe you should take some flying lessons. Of course if you did come down you could stay over with one or other of us.

Shabby - how are you today?

TripEm - I'm going to be walking distance to you soon (well when my SPD has gone away)

Momma - thank you for being my ray of good luck yesterday. My DS1 really likes your DS1 and can't wait to fight play again.

shabster · 21/02/2008 19:23

hiya pixie - im just watching emmerdale (from behind the sofa) I know I shouldnt cause its too close for comfort - but - like a lamb to the slaughter

Wont be long - hope you had a lovely day xxx

snorris · 21/02/2008 19:24

Hiya! All home safely and leaping around like loonies!
Thanks for putting up with us again. As we pulled out of the farm one of the dt's said it had been an excellent day . Hope you have a peaceful evening .

piximon · 21/02/2008 19:45

lol, mine were like zombies after you left. Barely ate any dinner and DD1 was asleep before 5.30 (so she'll be up nice and early). Even DS1 was struggling to keep his eyes open. But they had been working hard packing their things before you came so I guess it's been a long day.

Have managed to pack nearly all the clothes, mostly just odds and ends left now. Realised earlier that I have no idea how long it'll take me to get online at the new house so I may be gone for sometime after tomorrow. Just can't quite believe that I'll have a home for 6mths.

oooggs · 21/02/2008 19:48

pixi thats great news, also glad you had a nice day

TripleyTigger · 21/02/2008 20:21

Oh God!!! Why didn't I know what Emmerdale was about tonight i thought I would curl up with a bounty and relax. I ended up sobbing and nearly choking on my chocolate

TK keep trying, but if you get through to someone else I will nick you from their profile.

Pixi!!!! Great news!!!!! I shall prepare my trainers now!!!!!!!!

You o.k?.x.x.x.x.xx.x.x.x.x.

The bustier and the Aunty Flo are perfect. Really, really, really! That means they are your things to go wrong. THATS IT!! Thats that bit dealt with Now, I will be sitting here tomorrow night with a glass of something gorgeous and I will log on for our your hen night And you young lady should not. You should be bathing and shaving and smothering on creamy cream (no creamy body cream on the day becayse you'll feel slimy but you can the night before and then shower it off and you'll feel scrumptious - take it from a dry arse prune who knows ). I'm so very excited for you! It seems like no time since you were on saying it was postponed and we were all I was crying Fantastic, you try to relax as much as you can. Big deep breaths for calm.

PIXI, good luck my darling!! Sounds exciting. I am so touched at the photos [sob] and your other DD has the Kipper book and toy that I popped in too. Thank you, its so lovely to see that.

Right, I am eating a baked potato with salt in my bed. Its all I can face. Feeling rough, I have horrible tonsils, sore ears, achey body, again, how rude! And I'm meant to be Tesco shopping........

frumpygrumpy · 21/02/2008 20:41
