accordiongirl · 27/01/2008 19:49

Bibi does you going out have something to do with Chops's little journey on the bus...? Are YOU actually the same people? Glad you found your way home again.
Bit frustrated mama tonight - wanted to go to a Klezmer dance, but DH in bed with cold from hell and this is a rare chance to see him! Wanted to practice accordion (yes ladies I do actually play the thing if you can call it playing) but floor needed cleaning... Maybe it's dry now and I can get tuneful [hopeful emoticon] It helps the babies to sleep! x

That dress is gorgeous, but it's really heavy - lots of heavy beading and sequins so we've decided on a different one, which is much simpler but just as beautiful, but I can't find it on the monsoon site, so can't link it in. Doubly annoying, cos I only got one today to try it on them and wanted to get the other 2 on-line. Will have to keep checking. When they were trying the dress on this evening, DP kept saying 'you're going to be eclipsed!' Tripley, thanks for the offer of the discount - I'm in London, so probably not practical, but very kind of you to think of me.

Lovely shopping trip with my friend - got her a lovely outfit, also in coast. Saw that dress you tried on Momma - it's beautiful . And I got some shoes, which I will try with my dress this week. these ones.

Bibi, glad you had such a lovely, grown-up birthday .

AG, I have a friend who plays the accordion. Don't think you're her though, as I'm sure I'd have noticed a set of twins hanging round her .

Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Survive the big birthday! Must say its probably been the less stressful day we have had in months with them, is 10 a turning point??? They were up at 7.15am, spent until 9.30am opening pressies, bathed, collected friends and went off to local pool for their party, lovely that someone else did it all, no mess! Came home, my brother came round and played with them ,helped build new airfix planes etc, now they are all up in their beds and its QUIET!!!Have they grown up overnight?

accordiongirl · 27/01/2008 22:26

Congratulations on 10! That HAS to be a turning point - or tenning point. (sorry that's terrible).

accordiongirl · 27/01/2008 22:28

Put me to bed for that... Night x

BibiThree · 27/01/2008 22:37

Naughty newbie crowd....

Hope you all had a good weekend, mine was too busy. I like to mooch and feel like we we had to be somewhere all the time. Back to the daily grind today, joy,

I am on facebook not obvious until you read my profile though. Erm.... my initials are VY if that helps?

Chopster · 28/01/2008 07:51

96!! [Shock]I thought I was bad, I made three tortillas. I cannot seem to get them right, they don't really cut into wedges by the time I've finished them! I ended up bunging the last one in the oven to cook.

I'm on facebook, tho I can't get on there atm. My name is Kelly H if that helps.

We're still going with the potty training. sat was a disaster, got through about 6 pairs of pants, yest he only had one accident all day. So I think he is going to school in pants today. The main problem is that he is still a voiding pooing in the toilet, and pants full of poo is not nice!

ExpectingKat · 28/01/2008 07:54

Hi all,
Hope everyone good, ooooo apple muffins never had them, sound yum
Off to the hospital today for scans and they will make the decision, so hopefully within a couple of days I shall have my babies!

Chopster · 28/01/2008 07:56

Wow, good luck Kat!

largeginandtonic · 28/01/2008 08:19

Good luck Kat! How very very exciting

Chops the potty trainng... >

I remember taking the twins in to the ELC for a little play and going off to the loo leaving my friend in charge. When i came back she was hovering over a spot by the train set. One of the twins had done a spectacular poo and it had fallen right out his shorts She was hovering over iot to hide it. Oh the joyful memories.

Still they were clean and dry day and night in 3 weeks so it wasnt all that bad.

I have just done Hugo, he was 3 yesterday, I tried over the summer and he was having none of it, Xmas we cracked it!

ExpectingKat · 28/01/2008 08:52

Thanx chopster and largeginandtonic
Was hoping for a v deliverie but don't think twin a moved so if still footling breach c-sec it is, but as long as its soon and everythings ok and I'm out of this pain I shall be happy just to have my babies.

triplets · 28/01/2008 09:20

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 28/01/2008 10:14

Hi all, Long time no speak!! We are busy decorating so apologies for not getting on recently... Just had to pop in for some advice (quite long-sorry!)

We finally managed to get Liv in some sort of bedtime routine about 6 months ago & thing have been fine. Dinner, bath Milk & bed. She would quite often wake once over night but would always settle very easily with a cuddle/drink- Fantastic, we thought!!

Now, all of a sudden 4 nights ago she woke 3 times and the last time she was so upset we had to take her to bed with us as we just couldn't settle her. This has happened every night since and last night she wouldn't even go into her bedroom! She screamed constantly for 50 minutes and neither of us could settle her. She finally fell asleep on the settee with both of us sitting with her and slept better than she has all week! I just don't know what is wrong with her, it was heartbreaking to see her so upset and I'm quite sure she wasn't just after a cuddle or she would have been much easier to settle.
I now feel like we're back to square one .....
Any ideas???

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 28/01/2008 10:15

Oh and I will try to catch up with all that's going on soon!!
