frumpygrumpy · 03/01/2008 17:52

Pootle hello, glad you can join us.

HM, welcome home

estar · 03/01/2008 18:05

Hello girls.

Just spent an hour driving round looking for a remote swimming pool where my friend is having a party for her one year old.

Finally found it and no-one was there.

Turns out the pary was yesterday.

Three grumpy boys, one hungry baby and a promise to find a swimming pool at some point next week.

S'ok - not like I had anything else to be doing, y'know, packing or anything

inamuckingfuddle · 03/01/2008 18:22

oh estar poor you and DCs

DH is getting competitive over his snowman - our neighbours have made one and its bigger than ours so he's going out later to build a bigger one as obviously he has nothing better to do

oooggs · 03/01/2008 18:58

hi pootle glad you made it over I am still on mat leave dts 9 mths and I will go back middle of April

frumpygrumpy · 03/01/2008 20:02

estar! I'm screaming for you!

dingdong, I guess if it keeps snowing then you will have an ice kingdom to awake to each morning as they outdo each other

Send him up, sounds fabulous

frumpygrumpy · 03/01/2008 20:03

can I just do this

I love the cheeks and the hat together

Leochristmaspuddingbelly · 03/01/2008 20:33

You all just chat too much! I'm so sorry I'm almost giving up even scanning the thread ! how do you all manage it, most of you have loads more dcs than I do!

Started back at work today, I hated it , I was bored stupid and don't know what to do about it. I want to work but need a complete career change - that takes time!

At lunchtime I reviewed what I ahd done all morning and in summary - sat on my arse doing NOTHING!
a little different to my normal morning at home with 3 under 3s!

.... and I've got to go and do all of nothing again tomorrow morning!

Anyone got any tips please - the dts eat purees (i know - having no teeth isn't a good excuse is it) or finger foods and nothing in between. ds1 was eating everything we had mashed up by about 7 or 8 months, but the dts push anything lumpy straight back out of their mouths. they won't even finger eat rice. So frustrating and I'm fed up of making sure I have stuff made up for them, fed up of carrying ita ll around when we go out, they are just too old for it (aren't they???)! -how can I get them to eat mashed up food?

Always looking for cottage to rent to sleep 6, but most places are too remore, like to be in easy walking distance of shops and pub!Well I had better try nd go back to bed, feel sicky with headache though, usual tension one, oh well!

TripleyTigger · 04/01/2008 09:30

Mars!!! Over here!!!

inamuckingfuddle · 04/01/2008 10:54

Hi Triplets I'm in Sedgefield so not far from Spenny. Let me know when you're next up and we could try to meet up, or if we're away you could stay here as there'd be enough room then!

momma poor you, its sounds awful, my parents have picked it up from my grandma's nursing home, where the residents are hit really badly by, being already old and weak glad you are feeling better though, I am staying put but we're both back in school next week, DTs in nursery, so expect we'll pick it up then.

MERLYPUSSEDASAFART · 04/01/2008 11:23
