I have run out, just want to get some sleep.....

theslownorris · 04/01/2008 20:36

It must be one of those days . I'm not ill,but you know when you just feel kind of ? Dd1 is driving me nuts with her coughing,I know she can't help it but it's kept me awake at night while she's asleep . The dt's are, well dt's -currently they're doing 'nastics round the lounge. That Sportacus has got a lot to answer for . Roll on Tuesday, back to school [lots of cheering emoticon]. I've got something playing on my mind too (can't say more because my sister's a MNetter too!).
Now I've lowered the mood ,I'll be off to wrestle put my little darlings to bed. Sympathy to the ill ones and let's hope we all wake up tomorrow feeling much better .

Sorry to hear it sweetheart. Peaceful sleep to you xxx.

Momma, I thought your DH/DP was a porn director..........

frumpygrumpy · 04/01/2008 21:04

4 servings?!

MarsLady · 04/01/2008 21:31

FG.... you're feeling broody right?

How's about a pair of almost 4yo b/g DTs?

They won't sleep. Have been like this for blinking days (even if I spend the blessed evening on the step... roll on school) and now they are throwing things down the stairs. I'm so knackered that I don't think I can't be arsed to bellow call up the stairs any more!

Ooogs where are you sweetheart? I just read your post on the honey thread. Give me a call if you need to chat xxx

I feel better! Woop woop. Kids are all being lovely and i have a new game for the Wii Mario Galaxy, i sat up till 1130 playing it with dh last night Well i had to, one of the dts was whopping my ass

How are the rest of you today?

walkie · 05/01/2008 12:41

Oh good, someone is about, have been watching for ages after posting question about playing with DTs (11 mths)- but think a bit young for Wii??!!. Also after some ideas - planning holiday with family when they will be 20mths (will be 4 of us - me, dh & dts). Any bright ideas for making 5 hour flight easier - flight out will be daylight, return overnight.

oooggs · 05/01/2008 12:50

I'm surviving LG&T - really wanted to join estars group on facebook , it was an accident and a shock and dts would have been 16 mths when db was due and that terrified me. Happened New Years Eve and I have been loosing alsorts since - was warned yesterday either rest or hospital.

hi walkie - we took ds1 on an 11 hour flight at 11 mths and had a bag of goodies, box of raisins, new books, things wrapped up, empty drinks bottle (this was an accidentally a huge hit) there are lots of threads about this, but with regards to dts - not sure.

Mine are 9 mths and haven't flown yet, but looking into May 08 when they will be 13.5 mths.

I missed your question about playing with dts - what do you mean?

Just wondered if anybody had any good ideas on play with 11mth DTs. They are happy to play with each other, but don't think that is stimulating enough. I sing and read with them & stack things for them to knock down.

I have found that a lot of play ideas are great for singletons, but I feel like I would leave the other one out (or would crawl off!)

oooggs · 05/01/2008 13:01

I struggled playing with ds1, but find that with dts it is easier. We play hide & seek round the sofa and crawl around chasing. DS1 also entertains them very well, he builds dens and sits in it with them he makes them laugh

walkie · 05/01/2008 13:10

Ooo, like the idea of dens. They do love huge blanket for peekaboo. Sometimes I hide under it, and say "where's mummy". Then they crawl away and I am still under the blanket!! They are also following me a lot now, so could make an ass

Had a friend who did play with hiding things in flour (with singleton), I am not that brave - maybe in the summer!

walkie · 05/01/2008 13:12

Sorry, do not want to make an "ass" - but an assault course!

oooggs · 05/01/2008 13:12

flour + dts = hell of a mess

Egg · 05/01/2008 14:05

Oooggs also saw your post on the other thread. Must be a scary time for you, imagine it is hard for you to rest with 9 month old DTs and a 4 year old. Can DH take over and let you lie down as much as poss, tell him he will have to do it anyway if you end up in hospital. Thinking of you...

Hello Walkie and welcome to the mad thread. Like the thought of you making an "ass" heheee.

TripleyTigger · 05/01/2008 14:20
