Look, look! Not only am I here, but I've started a new thread!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Chopster · 23/01/2008 08:15

If I can persuade dp to let me come, I'll def be driving. Happy to take others but not sure if I am close enough to anyone to offer lifts though? I can do station pick ups at least.

fg's idea of a meetup sounds heaven. I think we should all bugger off to the French Riviera - that plan would fit in so nicely there.

I am soo sleepy. I cannot get back into routine. I've been going to bed at 9.30 and still don't want tog et up at 7. I can't wait for the weekend. The boys seem to be resenting the early starts too - dt2 is normally the family clown, but he has been very moody this week.

largeginandtonic · 23/01/2008 08:33

I would love to come to the meetup but i see little chance of it happening No money and a dh that will be away soon. You will all just have to come and stay with me.

Pixi not Ladysmith Rd in Plymouth is it? Exeter is where you are off to isnt it? > Not difficult really i suppose

Mars what DVD????? Sounds very exciting.

Tigger well done on the not smoking! DH gave up when we met, i couldnt bear it and gave him little choice It was good for him though and now he hates it. It was hard work for him though, he had all the nicotine replacements going!

Have been feeling crappy for a couple of days with another feckin head cold. It is going now though and i must get the lunatic 2 year old out the house he is soooo bored.

FG Happy Birthday to your dd and i hope ds feels better soon.

JUST REMEMBERED NOW!!!!!!!!!!

SO SORRY.X.X.X.XX.X.X.X.X.X.

I wiped your e-mail off by mistake that had your contact details on,can you send it to me again? or if anyone gets in contact with Pixi will you tell her for me.

Sorry

TripleyTigger · 23/01/2008 08:51

Momma thanks for the snack!!!!!

Pixi Ladysmith Road doesn't have any problems as far as I am aware, If it is outside the school, only thing is that road gets jam packed at school times, but apart from that it is fine. Ladysmith school is nice too, although I prefer St. Michaels (just round the corner).
Oooohhh you'll be near Heavitree Park!!! Lovely for the kids!!! Paddling pools open in the summer, lots of Fetes go on and we have our own little music festival too don't we Momma? Not exactly Glast. but its good!!!!!!!!

I'm loving the sound of our meet up more and more, can't wait! Please tell me we eat out or order in

piximon · 23/01/2008 18:42

Grr another wasted day, the house was awful (and my standards are pretty low). I could take that it was smelly and absolutely filthy (not afraid of a good day cleaning/airing), I could even take that it needed decorating, but it was 4 single rooms, really pushed to believe a loft room with two sloping ceilings and about one foot wide space you could stand upright in a double, you'd have to duck to get in bed and baby would have to sleep under the bed. But the real clincher was that it was supposed to be part furnished, but there was so much old (as in falling apart and smelly) furniture crammed in that they wouldn't move out, the thought of using one of their beds makes me shudder.

All I ask is to rent a place with three good size bedrooms, some pavement outside, a nearby primary school and ideally a little shop for under £800 a month. Preferably without a load of steps to get in and out of the property as could see that being a struggle every day with all 5. Am I mad to think such a place could exist?

Mars beginning of feb would be fab if you could manage it. DTS would love it here with all the play equipment, just need wellies and waterprooofs if they have them.

MarsLady · 23/01/2008 18:45

it exists Pixi... it exists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will do my best. Might come down on the 1st and go home early on the 3rd or late on the 2nd. Just juggling my diary.

dingdong......... of course we'll eat out or order in!

Leoloopydoo · 23/01/2008 20:12

chopster I didn't know you grew up in Norfolk.. Me too. Where abouts?

Pixi, you are amazing, I can't believe you are traipsing around every day with all your kids in tow and pregnant to find a house. THE one is there for you. Hope you find it tomorrow.

Not much to say from me, all going well here, but I'm tired and off to bed!

Chopster · 23/01/2008 21:45

aww pixi hope you find somewhere soon.

Leo - near gt Yarmouth, what about you? I only moved away 4 years ago, still go back regularly.

night momma and I will pop up to Exeter soon, maybe when LG&T is next down we could have a mini SW meet up and drag invite Tripley & Pixi along

Chopster · 24/01/2008 07:55

I'm getting no sleep neither. dt2 keeps waking up early hours to do poos! I'm going to have a grumpy toddler on my hands again.

Plus my shower has broken. The hose bit has split. Please tell me it is possible to replace the hose and I won't be without a shower for days?!
