Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Egg I'm going to be TRIPLETlightEM'up for bonfire and TRIPLETxmaskissEM' for xmas Love your Xmas one!!!

Chopster didn't see you at the gym today?

hello to all below!!!!

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 29/10/2007 17:09

I went to the gym yesterday, I've been swimming today, and will be at the gym tomorrow morning. Now, what have you been doing

Egg · 29/10/2007 17:40

Chops she can leave the DC with my BIL, but he works looooooooooooooooooong hours, so unless he takes time off it's not possible. Obviously she will come and see me, but if only we were closer to each other she could pop round every day / week during the day. And I could sleep...

Was chatting to the manager at nursery today about double buggies. Realise that a double will not fit through their door either . So I think a tandem really is the way forward, as I don't want to not be able to take DS in / pick him up (he is upstairs and normally I go up to get him), but can't leave DTs outside, and definitely don't want to have to take them both out so I can go in to get DS. Tis good really, another reason for the powertwin methinks .

Egg · 29/10/2007 17:40

Oh, I went past the gym FOUR TIMES today. Does that count?

inamuckingfuddle · 29/10/2007 17:46

oh bloody hell you lot, stop posting so much I just can't keep up

Egg · 29/10/2007 18:11

I am relieved that for the first time ever I have been on top of things on this thread ALL DAY!

DS waiting patiently upstairs for his bath. Occasionally calling out "Mamma". Better go.

inamuckingfuddle · 29/10/2007 18:13

congrats Egg - I tried my best, but work wouldn't let me on the site

Egg · 29/10/2007 18:56

OMFG. I just let DS have three maltesers as a treat as he has been feeling a bit low today. While he was eating the third one, I looked at the packet. There are six, yes six e-numbers in there! Why oh why oh why did I give them to him?

Egg · 29/10/2007 18:56

By the way muckingfuddle, is it perhaps time you changed jobs if they wont let you go on MN while working?????? Good grief. It could be detrimental to your health .

TrickORTripletEm · 29/10/2007 18:57

O.k,o.k I only went to the gym once last week, but the dx3 were home .....and I did have the snuffles...and....and...Oh who am I kidding

frumpygrumpy · 29/10/2007 19:03

Egg, 3 Maltesers and 6 E-numbers won't a stroppy e-number dependant child make. And chocolate (or crisps) is the best treat, dentist-wise. The chocolate melts to nothing.

welcome chuffed

DT1 has cut her 1st tooth
DT2 is 'trying' to sit unaided

can't remember anything else except I am really tired

estar · 29/10/2007 22:16

Hello girls

We are doing great thanks. My three big boys are absoutely fine with having another sibling in the house (although they do not understand why they can't just fling themselves around him like they do with everyone else).

Even getting a spot of babymooning done - because we were all still sleeping in one room before Levi was born, dh has got the front bedroom ready but stayed in with the boys until we settle into a routine so he can get sleep too. I did wake up on the first morning with dt2 in the bed with me too but apart from that, its just me and Levi all night. Its lovely.
At this moment I could do what those 1970s couples did on 'Bringing Up Baby' and just strap him to me all day long. But I think when dh goes back to work, I heal up and real life begins again, I would regret having started it.

Will try and get photos on soon.

MarsLady · 30/10/2007 02:15

You won't regret it Estar. Glad you're getting your babymooning in! At least 2 weeks babe!

Hi all. Welcome back FG. Hi Chuffed (did I say that already?)

So life is completely back to normal for me. I have an assignment due in on Friday, I'm waiting on a client to give birth and I'm off to Cuba on Sunday. I'm just home from a lovely evening of salsa. Life is great!

Can't believe we need a new thread already! Blimey. FG.... get your thinking cap on!

Right................. must go to bed and dream dirty dreams about Clive Owen or Taye Diggs. We'll see who fills my dreams first!

Of course all this talk of food has made me hungry............ but I need to sleep not eat!

Mmmm, I wanna go stay at momma's house! She can teach me how to cook caribbean style. Still haven't really mastered that. I had a great friend in croydon who used to make me lamb's neck soup with dumplings, which was absolutely gorgeous, and I've never been able to find a recipe.

Em, c'mon get your bag, we're going this morning!

egg, stop worrying!

Estar, that sounds soo lovely. Go for the sling if you want to, rememeber you can't spoil a newborn and you've plenty of time to wean him off it.

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 30/10/2007 07:32

mars, what time are we meeting you at the airport?

Egg · 30/10/2007 08:44

Am getting rather fed up with DS waking at 5:45. Hasn't he realised the clocks have blardy well changed?

Was not too worried about his consumption of e-numbers, he has had plenty before , more amazed that they had SIX in a packet of maltesers and that I gave them to him just before bed. Still, he slept like a log until 5:45. He is grumpy and tired now though.

TrickORTripletEm · 30/10/2007 09:49

Estar, your life sounds so wonderful...stop it!! I can hear clucking...oh its me!!!

Mars can't say anything but!!!!!

Chopster,bag is at the ready!!!

Egg my dx3 aren't in the new time zone either!!!

Momma, can you not waft your lovely food my way you tease!!!!

Leoladyofleisure · 30/10/2007 10:16

I agree Estar, you won't regret it. I had carried ds1 around the whole time, not so easy with the DTs and I really miss it. Can't wake up with one baby cuddled under each arm with a singleton though can you!

Mars Cuba!!! Wow!

Ooogs, your dt1 has beat mine with getting teeth. Mine are still toothless, can't sit themselves up and have got so frustrated with crawling backwards that they have given up and now launch themselves forwards like frogs. I thought they had stopped getting stuck under sofas, but dt1 got completely stuck under one this morning ! Funny they are so much slower than ds1 with everything and because of that play so much differently. By this age ds1 was emptying cupboards and generally destroying the house (he hasn't yet stopped) but these two concentrate on toys and really play with them.

Welcome Chuffed !!!!
How exciting a triplets pregnancy on our thread here!!!! Wow!!!!

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 30/10/2007 11:23

leo, sounds like your family is the other way round, my odler two played, and the dts are the destroyers!

Sooo, em, how was the gym? I've jsut got out of a boiling hot shower and now getting ready to go meet dp for lunch, having burnt off 360 calories.

I'm shocked at maltesers too egg. ALways seemed rather innocent to me.

Mine seem ok with the clocks, they've been waking at 7 ish. Dt2 gets up and shouts in my ear 'look, light!' 'Morning time!'

oooggs · 30/10/2007 15:59

leo - teeth aren't all they are cracked up to be dt2 has had two teeth for a month

MarsLady · 30/10/2007 18:17

I'm freezing.

DT1 keeps turning off the blimming boiler!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR (or should that say BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)
