Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Aherm, I know i was one step behind back there, realising where Beau came into it etc and writing it down after you had already explained but it now says on your profile page that you have a son of less than one month old... but there is a pic of Beau distinctly saying Beau at 4 months . I do like his stripey chair tho.

Now the Grand Scenic sounds perfect. Especially that you can get the three car seats across the one row. If only DH would realise that a bus type car is a far better option. Grrr.

DS in bed. Off for a nice bath now.

largeginandbloodpunch · 25/10/2007 19:45

What the bloomin heck is going on??? Im all confused with the pages, not difficult to confuse me though

It does read Beau less than 1 month, how odd. I have checked i put his Birthday in correctly (i have lots to remember ) think it should read less than 1 year but is all wrong! MN work out their ages

TrickORTripletEm · 25/10/2007 20:00

All your hard work has gone!!!!!
I no like it!!!!

largeginandbloodpunch · 25/10/2007 20:09

I have fiddles with the options and think ive worked it out, i am loving the ignore option

I think if you click on my name (or anyones name) the profile is still there? Will try it

largeginandbloodpunch · 25/10/2007 20:11

It does work! The colours are a little bit crazy though, sure i will get used to it.

frumpystumpy · 25/10/2007 21:56

It's not good coming home to that new version of MN. Thank God for the customise and the Classic "I don't do change" MN.

Feeling rather crappy.... I missed an appointment with someone today. I had an ill client so I spent the day with her and completely forgot one that I was due to meet. Sat down to have something to eat and she called..... I'm working too hard if I can miss an appointment. I don't feel bad for losing the work (there's always more work), I feel bad for letting her down. Sigh...............

Note to self.... slow it down! Of course.... I'm off to Cuba in a couple of weeks

Anyway.............. you lot are doing my head in all this talk of cars!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Awww Mars im sure she didnt mind to much, you were helping out another client surely that shows your dedication?

Course my symapthy is limited seens as you are off to CUBA in a couple of weeks

No more car talk today, promise boss.

I have to be up and waiting in for the Sky man today, wahoooo Good we are finally getting Sky but not so good that i have to be up when i only have Beau. We could have laid in bed all morning, he is quite content with booby on demand as i slumber.

FG just where have you been young lady??? Glad you are back, please dont leave again I will bake a cake in your honour later, or maybe soup Not sure i have any eggs.

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 26/10/2007 08:38

oh the halloween smilies are out!

I tried with the new layout, I really did! Gave up when I couldn't find the new messages, and back to MN classic.

fg, I'm worried about you, now get back in here right now!

I've got a seat alhambra too. The dts sit next to each other, so the other door seat only has dd's booster on it, so we can flip it fw to let ds1 into his seat in the back without going through the boot. The only downside is that the dts do fight quite a bit! The 7th seat is in the loft to make room for the buggy and shopping. I've got the petrol turbo version, and it's quite fast. For a bus, it's not bad at all to drive, but a bit exp, costs me about 20p a mile in petrol.

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 26/10/2007 08:39

Cuba???! Can I come, pleeease?

Ok girls, need a bit of TLC today. Gave up on the potty training yesterday after seemingly spending the whole day clearing up puddles and dirty knickers. They do perform on the potty, but only if they happen to be sitting there at the time. They love wearing big girl knickers, and the sweets they've been getting as rewards, but they have no concept yet of 'needing' to do a wee. So I gave up, or in, depending on how you look at it. I've spent the whole week trapped in the house, so today we are going shopping .

And today should have been my wedding day . It was definitely the right decision to postpone it - I've hardly seen OH the last few weeks, he's been working such ridiculous hours, but I can't help feeling a bit melancholy today. Still, it would have been a grey day to get married.

FG hope you are feeling less grey today. You have been missed.

Mars you are going to need a very big suitcase to fit us all in when you go to Cuba .

MarsLady · 26/10/2007 09:01

You have to put a small h beside them so instead of grin you put hgrin but inside the brackets!

OP posts:
tkband3 · 26/10/2007 09:01

Momma - I just worked it out...you have to add h before your grin in the brackets, IYSWIM. But your smilies have hats on on my computer anyway, so maybe that's not why...sorry, no help after all

MarsLady · 26/10/2007 09:03

tk............. have a Spring wedding. I have a fabby dress and shoes (not my f&*$K me shoes.... though I could get a new outfit)!

I'm sorry you feel melancholy. Think Spring. The girls could carry spring baskets and the DTs will be that little bit older and they would all look so lovely!

OP posts:
TrickORTripletEm · 26/10/2007 10:13

Yep you do have to put an h in the bracket for hats. I think someone didn't want them yesterday as they don't celebrate halloween Wasn't the true meaning of Halloween meant to be where people laid flowers on graves to celebrate those that had died? I think that is quite nice

I'm not answering any questions to do with cars today as I got totally confused last time

Mars you do so much,I am truly amazed how you fit anything in at all

L.G.A.B.P You the know that the sky bloke is probably going to turn up at about 1 min to 5 don't you Always the way!!!!

TK Don't worry about the potty training,it'll come right in the end. I thought mine were never going to use theirs, then all of a sudden they had it!! Someone once said to me How many healthy people do you know that use a potty as an adult!!! have you tried reversing it?
I lined my pottys up in the bathroom and ignored them completely, then when the dx3 went near them I said Oh you can't use those, they are for big children only. Suddenly they became interestingand they wanted to be big children!!!!!

Egg · 26/10/2007 12:54

From experience, Sky men usually don't turn up at all until at least the second booking, often the third . And they always always turn up within the last 15 mins of the allotted time. However, if you dared to leave the house, even if only for 2 mins, you would miss them. Tis the rules.

I am trying not to think about potty training. DS is 20 months, and I never envisaged trying anything before he was 2. He does tell me when he wants to go for a poo, ie waves and says "poo", but have been told by many that older siblings often regress when new babies arrive so don't want to bother if I am going to have to do it twice. Also, he often waves and says poo for half an hour before he manages anything, and I can't be bothered with waiting with him while he sits on the loo. Plus, he wont poo with anyone in the same room, he always waves them away or leaves himself. How does that work when potty training? I can't just leave him can I?

largeginandbloodpunch · 26/10/2007 13:14

he has already been... magic or what?!

Potty training, not my fave thing. I leave it as long as possible and dont fret. They all do it eventually. Leave him to it if he doesnt want you there, one of mine (i forget which used to make me leave the toilet while he went. He did fall down the loo a couple of times though
