Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Hello ladies

frumpystumpy · 26/10/2007 14:50

And, potty training.....I think that even if you continue to do some days with pants (the days that work for you) and some days with nappies (the days you need to be out), it starts their little brains thinking and they will start to make their own preferences. Don't think of it as a hurdle to get over (wet to dry). Think of it smaller than that. One wee in a potty for the whole day is enough. Let yourself feel really good about that one wee.

p.s. some pooed on pants are best thrown straight in the bin

piximonster · 26/10/2007 14:59

glad to see you back FG. You've brought so much sunshine to me I only wish I could return the favour. I really do know that feeling of being so small and wanting not to bring everyone else down that path with you. Wish I had your penchant for cleaning, my worst days involve a blanket, a sofa and overspilling sink. I'm really happy that you've come back to us.

frumpystumpy · 26/10/2007 15:12

pixi, what a lovely thing to say! Thank you.

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 26/10/2007 15:22

fg, I wish I could come up there and give you a big hug! It's like piximom says, you've given us so much support, and I'm really sorry to hear you have been feeling down.

Though I think the description of the giant's coat is brilliant, having been there you know when. Dark days I don't like to think about now.

Anyway, weddings, this could be fun! We're thinking 2009, so you lot still have a wait yet! We want the kids to be a bit older, and to save up to be able to go out and get married abroad, Krabi - Thailand. With our families beign so complicated it'd be best that way! and I need a WHITE dress this time. Last time I got married in lilac cos white didn't feel right being pg. I want the boys in cream shorts and shirts and dd in a cream dress and lots of gorgeous pics on the beach.

I have to get my arse in gear adn study hard next year!

MarsLady · 26/10/2007 15:31

Blimey Chops! I'll have to take on loads of work and actally save to go to your wedding! Sigh................

Had a good morning with a client (to balance my crappy evening without client). I went to see her boat to help her decide how to kit it out for the baby! How cool is that? That was a lovely job! Oh and did I mention that we are going shopping next week for said boat?

frumpystumpy · 26/10/2007 18:14

Thanks Kelly, you're all lovely. Feel so good tonight. I wish I understood it all

Good to have your happiness back FG!

Met the new people who have had me recommended to them by 3 people independently. Sorry.... had to share. I'm just so pleased, it means all the work has been worth it

Just checking in, waiting for my Christmas cake to come out of the oven, had good intentions of making it this morning, somehow it didnt get into the oven until gone 7pm, half termAnyway, good to have you back Frumpy you are def missed, not the same without your quick and witty quips! Any news of Estar? Mars you amaze me with your endless energy, just how do you fit it all in? I was thinking about you last night, that unlike some of us you never seem to moan about your children? How are they all? Its now 10.25pm and al three of mine are still awake, Tom Tom has just shouted down to tell me he has changed his mind and would like Star Wars Lego for Christmas instead of Lego City.......well too late, Father Christmas has already organized it, and he hasnt time to take it back to Bluewater! So........oh hang on Oo could just eat a slice, looks scrummy, but would have to open Tio Pepe to go with it, better not. No choc covered nuts to nibble on either, might just have a pomegranite before I slither under my duvet, love pomegranites, hardly know anyone else that does, can`t understand that myself. Ok, night night all, love to you and all the little multiples! xx

tkband3 · 26/10/2007 22:35

No wine for me - don't often drink, but I have had quite a bit of raisin, almond and hazelnut galaxy which was rather yummy.

Thank you for all your kind words. Am liking the spring idea, but in actual fact, we're thinking that we might just do it really quietly, with maybe just our mums (and possibly my dad, but depends if he'll leave his wife at home - can't stand the woman) and our lovely girls. Then have a party next summer for our friends. To be honest, I'm not that bothered about 'the wedding' I just want to be married!

Had a lovely day shopping with my girls, stayed out for lunch as well and they all behaved beautifully. Then had a lovely playdate for DD1 with her best friend and mine from our ante-natal classes. My BF brought me a lovely big bunch of sunflowers which have brightened my kitchen no end .

Off to have my hair done tomorrow morning - get rid of the horrid grey roots - which always makes me feel better and OH and I are out to dinner at the restaurant we would have had the reception at today...so a weekend to look forward to after all.

Now, my chocolate craving's satisfied, but are there any nuts left.....

triplets · 26/10/2007 22:39

I can offer brazil nuts or walnuts left over from my Christmas cake mix, any good?

estar · 26/10/2007 22:40

Hello, I'm here....................and I'm in two pieces!

Levi James was born yesterday, at 7:11pm, weighing 7lb 7oz.

No star jumps, just lots of pacing and muttering - started 1am, woke dh at 5am when they were 5 mins apart, went to hospital, carried on every 5 mins till 3pm when I was....2cm dilated, then slowed down to 20 mins apart

They were so busy at the hospital that they wanted to send me home which made me cry so they found a spare room upstairs where I slept between contractions. By 6pm they had returned to 5mins apart, they checked at 6.30 and I was 5cm. Got into a wheelchair, down to delivery suite, couldn't get on the bed or speak or breathe when I got there because there was no break between contractions. I rolled onto the bed and managed to get enough breath to scream like a banshee 'LET ME PUSH!' Secod midwife ran in, first midwife threw her apron on, dh ripped my trousers off - and there he was, crowning! One long scream and three pushes later, he poured out with my waters onto the bed.

It was the most surreal experience ever, lost all feeling in my arms and legs for ages afterwards and carried on shaking violently for an hour and a half. Mars, how you willingly make a career out of watching people go through it, I do not know.

But he was soooooo worth it, he is TOTALLY gorgeous. Beautiful heart-shaped face, soft downy black hair and huge dark eyes that are so curious about the world. I can't bear to put him down because he feels and smells so gorgeous.

Will get a photo on as soon as I can get round to it to share the joy.

I haven't had more than a solid hour's sleep in sixty three hours and I don't care!

TrickORTripletEm · 26/10/2007 22:46

Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I was there.... no I really do!

Moan about my children...... triplets....clearly you don't remember my knocking on every door in the neighbourhood to get someone anyone to take the DTs.

I almost did that again today. Shall I tell you what my wee weapons of mass destruction did? Shall I ??????????????????????

They took my beautiful Bobbi Brown makeup (I don't often wear make up so I treated myself to the good stuff)............ they took my blusher brush...............

They painted themselves and the fecking walls! Apparently DT1 wanted to be black like Mummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Black and blue more like........... okay so I didn't but it was my Bobbi Brown sob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my expensive makeup has now been washed from the walls, the carpets and my DTs! I know I've said this before but................ does anyone want them??????????
