Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Leoladyofleisure · 22/10/2007 13:38

thanks everyone I just can't imagine how she is feeling or how she will cope with this. He was getting help with his illness, I can't understand how this has happened. Don't understand how he got ill in the first place, up to 3 years ago he was really great, healthy, happy, normal intelligent guy !

Chopster, that sounds fab !

Got two miserable babies today, at least ds1 is being good though, he is so happy playing in his bedroom wiht his toy cars and tractors chatting away to himself at the moment. Need to get us all out of the house I think. Can't face packing everyone into the layers of clothes we need ot go out at the moment though and don't want to bump into anyone as I don't really feel like talking.

largeginandbloodpunch · 22/10/2007 13:55

Poor you Leo, i hope you get some happy news soon Keep talking to everyone on the phone, it does help even if you cant be there in person.

PMSL at FG as a mumsy, granny type with a pinny on (thats me) i see you more of a sheek Boden wearing, perfectly acessorised lady

Happy belated B day to Mini Mars, hope she had a good day. I am sooo looking forward to the teenage years, im pretty sure i will regret that later!

I have made a bananna cake but it's cooling so you will just have to wait >

Apart from making nanna cake i have been packing up clothes for all the kids as they are off to stay with their dad on tuedsday. Well Wednesday really but we are stopping over at a friends in Weston Super Mare first. She is my best friend and is having her 4th little boy in 6 weeks I hate that she lives so far away Im taking her all the baby stuff that Beau has alrady grown out of and the moses basket etc... some of it has been going back and forth between us now for 10 years!!

Love and kisses to you all if i dont get back on till later in the week xxxx

TrickORTripletEm · 22/10/2007 14:01

Yesth, the banana cake is hot

piximon · 22/10/2007 14:56

Anyone fancy making a different cake for me? I'm allergic to bananas.

DH was diagnosed at the hospital today with iritis, (inflammation of the eye) usually caused by a problem somewhere else in the body. Fingers crossed the new drops work and his blood tests come back clear, they were bandying about MS or arthritis. He has to go back in three weeks and cannot see out of his left eye at all.

tripletsandtwins · 22/10/2007 15:54

Piximon, Leo, I hope everything gets better for you from now on! I'm sorry you're both having a hard time right now. Keep your chins up

TripletEm, You were warned!

A belated happy birthday! to mars' dd

Chopster, December weather here can be odd and hard to pack for- it fluctuates wildly (warm in the day, to freezing at night). Don't expect it to be particularly hot, saying that, I was happy to be in a t-shirt and long shorts last year.

I would advise you take a pair few pairs of jeans (or long trousers) and a couple jumpers for night and a warm jacket that you can take off, because it can get quite chilly.

In the day, you should be fine wearing lightweight trousers and t-shirts, you may need a fleece sometimes. If you take shorts, I don't think you'll wear them, but some visitors do .

If you like, I'll watch the weather for you nearer the time so I can give you some advanced warning.

TrickORTripletEm · 22/10/2007 17:18

L.O.L really sorry to hear what has been going on in your life,I didn't get chance to read the thread earlier(Trio on half term)

Piximon That is such a worry for you, come down to the south west lot and we will give you a big hug

Chopster: Bow chick a wow wow!!
(That was probably the 40th photo that I took and I kept yelling at DH STAND BACK you're too close,so dimming the lights is probably a good idea!!!!!!!!)

T.A.T: yes I do have pictures of all of you!!

Hey Western Super Mare, that's not far from us is it? Do you think L.G.A.B.P would hear us of we shout?!!!!

Well...something I might be planning on doing

Quattrocento · 22/10/2007 21:39

only all the time.

Leoladyofleisure · 22/10/2007 21:45

Piximon, I missed the thing about your dh. That sounds pretty frightening not being able to see. Hope there is nothing more serious behind it.

Where is Estar???

G'night all!

tripletsandtwins · 22/10/2007 22:15

Ask away tripletem!

I'm only pregnant with my duo at the moment, so I don't know how much use I'll be though!

estar · 22/10/2007 22:24

Still here

TripEm, I looked at your pics too and you look so young! Love your hair - I've just had mine cut in exactly the same way.

Just been to see Ratatouille (????). Not in the same league as The Incredibles or even Cars, but still very good. Very original idea.

Any banana cake left? Of course I'll need two pieces, one for me, one for baby..... (can't use that excuse for much longer )

tripletsandtwins · 22/10/2007 22:28

You look fabulous too estar! I love the excuse of eating for the baby... I was eating for 4 not too long ago... sigh, where has that time gone?

Won't be long now...how many days until they can induce you?

TrickORTripletEm · 22/10/2007 22:30

Ester!!
I never get to reply to you.
How are you? I take it the baby is due RIGHT NOW!! Please don't go into labour when I am here, because I am crap in an emergency

I'm soooo excited for you,you will be my first 'knew 'em when they were pg, know 'em now they're not'

so much better having short hair, I wish I had done it years ago. Was going to colour it,but luckily I have lots of different shades in it from brown to red,so now I have actually discovered what my real hair colour is I might keep it!!!!!!

TrickORTripletEm · 22/10/2007 22:32

T.A.T didn't see you there!!

I wanted to be nosey and ask,did you have a c.sect with your dx3 and if so what effects doses it have on your next pregnancy.

triplets · 22/10/2007 22:40

I expect you have all toddled off to bed, its only 10.30pm and both boys still awakeHavent been out of the house since Sat and had one of my funny dizzy turns last night which made me have a panic attack again, thought I would feel more reassured after the tests, but hey ho, Im still here! Been doing school projects again today, keep getting them all mixed up in my head, we are doing Mary Seacole, David Livingstone and Louis Pasteur, secretly I am quite enjoying it as I always loved history at school!Oh I don`t believe it, Rebecca is now running into the boys room, 22.40pm and she was up half the night at her friends sleep over! Time for action!

Sorry tripletem... I just had to dash off for my tea!

To answer your question...I had a c-section with my dts, and I was told that this time, I could expect all the risks of a twin pregnancy with the additionaly risks that follow after a c-section.

So...they scared me with things like miscarriage, premature birth, placenta previa, placenta abruptio, preeclampsia, tubal pregnancy... the list goes on...

However, I have only had one major drama during this pregnancy so far, where I was having contractions that were incredibly painful, but thankfully, they weren't causing me to dilate, and a test showed that I wasn't going to go into established labor any time soon. The contractions eventually stopped. I don't know whether that's connected to having a previous c-section/previous multiple birth or not.

Don't know whether that answers your question or not, but I hope it does ... We both probably had very different pregnancies and births though, so it might be very different for you... I'd ask your dr/ob before you think of having others

Good luck taming your trio triplets!
