Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Happy Birthday to Marsy's dd.

frumpystumpy · 21/10/2007 15:49

Momma, hope the sickness has passed, I hate being sick. You always feel better afterwards but its the lead up...... oooooh, you poor thing. Clever Dante, he is a sleep god

I'm here Mars, the day is passing at its own pace and I'm walking about it like a frozen zombie, but its passable. (Girls, I'm having a spell, a real low down and dirty spell.) Been here before, not sure how long it will take this time but at least I've been here before. I'm keeping my head down and not looking straight into headlights for now.

Mars, I PMSL yesterday when my phone rang - nearly dropped it with shock I have been practically in hiding for my whole MN life and in one tiny moment I get a call and a real voice on the other end That taught me (I passed some stuff onto Mars that her hubby was going to use and he needed to phone me about it, I almost died )

Happy Birthday to the teenage mini Mars! Jeez, I remember being 13 like it was this morning.

Maybe it was......

frumpystumpy · 21/10/2007 15:51

I know where I'm going wrong. Mars co-ordinates her outfits with electric shock colour pants. Thats smart. No getting run over by a bus and worrying for you my dear!

Harrogatemum · 21/10/2007 15:55

FG - are you coming out of your shell!? You will have a profile page before we know it! You know you want to!

I am potty training DT2 (not doing DT1 yet) and this is day 3 and we have fully dry pants all day!! All wees in the potty!! However he hasnt done a poo today yet and yesterday he did one in his pants - niccccccceeeeeeeeeee. I feel quietly smug after all the worrying I have done, not that its anywhere near over yet!

And DD is crawling - in a very cute way - ah milestones!

frumpystumpy · 21/10/2007 15:59

HM, no way, not a profile in sight for me. Get me very drunk and I'll show you everything though......I'd even put lights round my profile.

Potty time, ah, I felt like I was never getting there. Keep going, it will come good.

TrickORTripletEm · 21/10/2007 18:20

Bloody hell F.S that is so crap.
I hope you get through it soon.x.

i think I would faint if I saw anyone from MN I know Momma is going to track me down one dayand if Piximon comes here I'll have no chance!!!!!

In a way it would be so weird as I have built up little pictures of you all in my head, absoloutly nothing like you really are!!

F.S. you are the grandma of my bunch(I know you are not like that at all,but please don't spoil it for me!!!) I imagine you cooking in an old fashioned kitchen, with kids around your feet and a pinny to cover those huge bosoms!!

estar hope its not too much longer for you

triplets - your children are so sweet

tripletem - good photo, you won't catch any of me on my profile

mars - glad you had a good wedding - I love weddings

wow leo - snowboarding

momma - at Dante sleeping

Harrogatemum · 21/10/2007 19:42

TOTE - its MARSY who has the massive bosoms!! We all lay our head on them when life becomes too much........I think from memory FG is more of a B cup lady........but I am sure she will correc me if I am wrong! Lovely pics by the way!

EStar - good luck for the impending birth, we are all sat here waiting for news!

Marsy - where is that email!!

Harrogatemum · 21/10/2007 19:43

PS - FG - here's a large gin and tonic as my DH's dear old late grandpa used to make - he would make one for himself (a "stingo" as he would call it) and one for me and would mix them up so I nearly fell off my chair at the first sip..........and he was a doctor too!

Looking forward to lighting up those bulbs round your profile......

frumpystumpy · 21/10/2007 20:04

HM, I love the sound of him! Lay your stingos on me.

Em, how hilarious! I've certainly never thought of myself quite like that! I am more of a B cup spilling into a C now that I've crept up the scales a little. I have a newly decorated kitchen so the cottage pie feel isn't quite there.......I have hard skin on my toes like a granny though . You're not incorporating us into a book I hope. We are far too interesting for that hullabaloo.

Triplets, thats a great story. Must have made you proud xxx.

MarsLady · 21/10/2007 20:07

I can't find your email addy.....

email me on lovelymarslady at aol dot com. I've kept Friday afternoon completely free!

Wow TEM, not laughing but looking in awe and amazment and you and your beatiful dt3s! Still can't get my head around twins let alone triplets! How wonderful...but I know, hard work!.....
and Triplets, I've just looked at your pictures as now as well!!!!! Its incredible! .... so nice that they support each other, i guess it will come out more as they get older!

Mars, happy b-day to your dd1! Give me some of that underwear! Mine is all either too big bf bras with off colour knickers (dh has been on washing duty )or off colour too small normal bras!

HM, ds1 deposited quite a few nasty smellies in the wrong place when he was potty training! Good luck!

Had a mad day today! spent my morning cooking, wanted to go running when the dts slept but dh decided ot sleep as well so I couldn't. Took us an hour this afternoon to get all dressed and organised ot go out for a bloody walk. Then ds1 and me had hissy fits at each other because he wanted to go to the playground and i wanted to walk in the forest. Dh directed us in the right direction ! ds1 abandoned his bike and all 3 dcs ended up sleeping in the pushchairs. we decided to go a new route and got completely, totally lost in the forest. Me quietly panicking (3 small children with us lost, cold, dark, no food (except my norks)), dt1 starts crying - its dinner time and we still have no idea where we are. Walked down dead end and then spent an hour walking along a very nice path only to turn up where we started from! Aaaagh, but we made it home before dark! Phew! Ds1 has just gone to sleep at 10pm, htat means a nightmare day for me with him tomorrow!

Leoladyofleisure · 21/10/2007 21:16

As for FG, naaah, you have to read between the lines. She is far from a grandma type.

frumpystumpy · 21/10/2007 22:12

thanks Leo

estar · 21/10/2007 22:45

I'm here, I'm here! I have broadband again and it works on my computer so I don't even have to use dh's any more. Ahh, the simple things in life.....

No baby yet, I'm afraid, have tried the pineapple, a long drive and even resorted to....y'know, the other thing, but nothing! Naughty baby.

FG, your holiday sounds like my home reality at the moment. I lie - we do have heating now, although we are still living out of suitcases and sleeping all in one room. We do have daily progress though - yesterday we got the washing machine and dryer hooked up and we now have a working sink in the bathroom!

Glad to hear you're all doing okay, missed you girls xx

tripletsandtwins · 21/10/2007 23:21

It won't be long now Estar!

I wish we needed heating! It's the end of October, and it's 29C here and so humid! I miss UK weather (except all the rain!)

TripletEm, do you have identities for all of us then? I admire you for putting up a photo of yourself, I won't do it! You look fabulous though! Especially your hair!

triplets, your dc sound lovely

I bought a tigger watch yesterday , and my dcs love it! I keep bouncing my wrist and then telling tigger off! They're finding it hysterical! Turned out to be great though, because whenever they get too noisy, I say 'Shh! You'll wake tigger!' ANd they shut up!

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 22/10/2007 09:02

aw, I was getting all hopefully reading upt he messages, estar! Fingers crossed for you it won't be too much longer.

fg, glad to see you back! Hope things settling down for you.

I left for the gym, got there and AF had come to visit! Didn't have anything with me so ended up going to sains, getting a couple of bottles of wine and coming back home again.

tripem, you look gorgeous.

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 22/10/2007 09:04

tripsandtwins, you come and stay here, and I'll have your house at xmas - then you will need heating! Can you help me though, what on earth should I pack (clothes) for florida in dec? I was thinking sort of autumnal clothes, and I don't really have a lot of that.

TrickORTripletEm · 22/10/2007 09:16

Can't stop!! On the way to the gym. Mum is having the Dx3 for the morning and if I don't go now I won't have time!!!
See you later!!!!!

Leoladyofleisure · 22/10/2007 10:31

TandT, I am just wondering who hte child is in your house!!!! !

Florida sounds lovely right now. Its freezing here with a biting cold wind. i don't mind hte cold but can't stand the wind.

Just having a crisis moment, so much bad stuff seems to be happening to people around me at the moment. My sister's marriage is breaking down and she's not coping that well, they are living in Antigua at the moment and in the last 3 weeks have been broken into at night when sleeping and again raided by armed thugs who held knife at her H's throat and beat him up. I am worried about her.
My best (switzerland) friend's dad tried to commit suicide and is in hospital (in Sweden).
My lovely, perfect mum, perfect housewife neighbour-friend has had some kind of breakdown. She was unconcious 4 times while looking after her two very small children.
And to top the list, this morning I got an email from one of my best UK friends, her brothers has just committed suicide. I knew him well, he has been 'ill' for a while but it is a huge shock for me. She was visiting me next weekend. Sometimes I hate being so far away and stuck to leave, I think I should be there to support her.
Sorry for being so miserable on a lovely monday morning, but its a bad morning :!

anyone around can tell me some happy good stuff happening?

piximon · 22/10/2007 11:56

oh Leo much love to you. My best friend left England to look after her elderly parents a few years ago and within weeks of arriving her father committed suicide. It's just such an awful thing to go through, for them obviously and also as a friend trying to offer comfort and support, esp when you're far away. Sounds like you're needed in a dozen places at the mo.

FG-hope the sun is smiling on you.

chopsterHeadsOffEverybody · 22/10/2007 12:21

aww leo.

Right, good happy stuff. I took the kids to 'storehouse' this morning. It's like a free jumble sale. I got dd a box of really old books - all the ones I used to read as a child! It was amazing, like suddenly finding my childhood book collection. I can't wait to start reading them again.
