Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Slightly better day for me today, and the sun came out all over the place.

Caravan on the beach was beautiful. I wasn't. It remains my most heavenly spot in the world but I wasn't on top form so that was a shame. It was bitterly cold first thing. The kids woke up with icicles on their faces in the morning DD1 went to be in her jamas and when I checked on her later she had on her fleece, hat, scarf and gloves You forget how exposed it is and that a 3 bar gas fire in the living area doesn't keep you very warm. Wow, no central heating makes a big difference We had adventures on the beach in the dark with torches, we huddled round the fire with hot chocolate when the stormy rain came and the kids had cabin fever sharing a small space. I could hear the sea from bed (when the stormy wind died down), I love that.

Halloween was fab when I was wee. My big brother and me would dress up in my mum's old underskirts (in the olden days when mums wore underskirts ) and put her make up on our faces. My dad carved turnips for us and we were allowed to knock on the neighbours door and sing or tell some bad jokes. If we were good, we'd get 10p or maybe 50p, maybe an apple, maybe some monkey nuts. That was it. I don't go in for orange plastic tat, 'trick or treat' crap, ready made outfits to buy from supermarkets, swag bags filled with chocolate. I will let DD1 dress up in the sheet she dressed up in last year and jump out at us from the hall if she wants

I am going to hoover. There. Thats a statement eh! Go on, sit down and watch me if you like. Here I go.....don't stop me.....don't hold me back.....hoovering is my salvation......

I may be some time.

Afternoon ladies!!!

estar · 20/10/2007 15:35

Hello ladies!

I am still alive and unfortunately in one piece. No time to catch up - I'm on my mum's computer, but we should have broadband set up this week at home so I can finally get back online with you all.

Today is my DUE DATE! Woohoo, am quite pleased because that means maximum of 12 days to go (I always count down to the induction date) and also fed up and in a lot of pain and just want this baby OUT! I can't really stand up properly a lot of the time because it seems to be sitting on the nerves in my legs and I get load of shooting pains, also I have Braxton Hicks everyday from about five o'clock onwards which means I can barely do anything. Enough practicing now, I am READY!

Love you all lots, will try to catch up soon. I'm off to eat a fresh pineapple now......

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MarsLady · 21/10/2007 00:44

Sorry for the delayed reaction. I've been at a really fab wedding all day (and most of the night). The kids were out on a really special treat with their dad!

A wedding eh mars?! How special...I love weddings!

Fingers crossed you get your baby soon Estar! I'm placing my bets on it coming this Monday

December is a great time to come out here chopster! The weather is beautiful...not too hot. Your children will love it!

Momma...hope your lovely dts don't get the sickness and you and your ds have a speedy recovery with no relapses

How is everybody? I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say but I'm exhausted, so I guess I'll have to try and remember it some other time! Hoping to go to bed within the next hour, LOL (It's 8:50pm here by the way!)

Leoladyofleisure · 21/10/2007 09:08

Ooh Mars, sounds great, a wedding without the children. The last wedding I went to was a nightmare (with Niklas in tow, teething and unwell) and I have vowed never to go to another wedding again unless I really, really have to. What a miserable old cow I am!

Its almost snowing here today , I love it!!!!! And this year i WILL snowboard!!!! We are thinking of going to a kinderhotel so we can go on the slopes on our own.

ML - Iam at your sleeping babies, however we have had a strange turn of events here. Dt1 slept through without stirring from 7.30 to 6am last night and dt2 did it the night before!!!!! We haven't done anything different except leave dt1 sleeping on his front. They seem to be taking it in turns to sleep through , ! 6am they come into bed with us, I feed them and we cuddle them back to sleep for an hour or so. I love these morning !

Estar, how exciting!!!! You know you have to eat the core of the pineapple don't you.

....aaagh, my time is up!!!

TrickORTripletEm · 21/10/2007 09:12

You are all back!!!

That's better
can't write anymore dx3 are being a pain already, will pop back later

P.s. Please don't hide again

TripletEm · 21/10/2007 11:09

ONE DAY ONLY!!!!!!
(maybe more)

Photo of me on my profile

Don't laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!

triplets · 21/10/2007 11:55

Hi all,
Just grabbing a quiet 5 mins on here as they have all gone off to feed friends donkeys! No guilt at doing this as I have been a good mother and have spent 30 mins each doing Victorian projects! Mommalove hope to hear you have recovered, good excuse for a day in bed though, and as Mars said we hope your DH looked after you! TripEm you are lovely, no need to hide, its me who should be in hiding!! Had a girlie night on Frid, should not have had the sloe gin in front of the fire before I came home! Felt headachy all day yesterday, but pretended I was fine as I am always saying DH drinks too much! So what is everyone up to at halfterm? No plans here, just would love to be in the New Forest, long walks and back to a log fire, and simmering casseroles! Rebecca has decided to join James at his weekly drama class, more money! I dont mind as they are both good, Thomas would run a mile and thinks its all yuk! I was earwigging outside her room on Mon, he was telling Becca the words of the songs they will be doing, they are going to be on the stage at the Marlowe in Canterbury!Anyway, he was so sweet, actually being nice to her and saying she was good and would soon catch up with everyone else, so not to worry. I knocked on the door and was invited in to watch their rehearsal, very impressed I was, Tom Tom burst in with live spider in hand and just said "disgusting" and ran out! I asked James if it was ok with him if Rebecca joined, as DAPA was his thing. He said no, he would like her to join, then said to her its ok if you cry the first couple of times, as he did. I said why did you cry, were you worried that you wouldnt be able to do it, or that you would miss me? He said no, it was because he was worried that no-one would like him . I gave him such a hug and said how could anyone not like you, and he gave me a little smile and his huge eyes were brimming with tears, I do love that boy xxx

Triplets i have seen your photo!! Who are you kidding?!! You are one hot momma!!
I love the New Forest, spent most of my time as a child there. My nan had a cottage right on the edge: you opened her gate and you were in the forest. Spent my days playing in old bomb craters and sticking my feet in old wells!!! She was in a town called Pilley in Lymington. Near where Harold was shot in the eye with an arrow!!!
Momma I hope that you are on the mend now and your little babas are fine and healthy.
LOL : snow?!!!! you lucky thing,it's quite warm here today
Hi TAT
Mars, what sort of wedding, the full works or something out of the ordinary?Beach?Cliff top?Underwater?
F.S. How are you today? Sorry you weren't on top form on your adventure. It did sound lovely though, very Enid Blytonish!!!!!

TrickORTripletEm · 21/10/2007 13:19

Sorry Momma, crosss posted

MarsLady · 21/10/2007 14:20

TripEm.... you're gorgeous! No more hiding.

Wedding was full works. Suited and booted, champagne and canapes at the church for the congregation that wanted to come along. Full meal at posh hotel followed by lovely dodgy 80s wedding disco music! Perfick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wore a midnight blue silk dress. Nice cleavage, short. Silver accessories... shoes, jewellery etc and hot pink lingerie (for my eyes only lol).

Triplets.... love your children. How gorgeous!!!!!!!!

DD1 is 13 today. So she is finally a teen despite having been one for the last few years!

FG... where you hiding girl??????????
