what you need to do is put a call out on mn for someone with a nipper to come round and try it for you! I'd do it if I was anywhere near you, no idea where winchester is though.

I am not having a good mroning. The boys have been fighting all morning and dd was late again. She jsut is sooo lazy and cannot be bothered with anything and even if she is told to do something she gets distracted. Four times she was sent upstairs to get dressed, then I had to physically go with her 10 mins after we should have left. she doesnt care if she goes to school looking like a scruff. Ive threatened to send her in her pjs tomo. And so I already ahve a sore throat from shouting reasoning with them politely. I wanna go back to bed!!!

oooggs · 19/09/2007 11:48

Good idea chopster, but sorry egg Cornwall is too far away from Winchester for me to help

oooggs · 19/09/2007 11:57

forgot to add

They are 24 weeks and E weighs 15lb 14.5oz and J weighs 19lb 1.5oz. Thats over 3lb difference

Hi everyone,
Ty for the messages about pushchairs.
Inamuckingfuddle, I looked at the emmaljunga prams on net and I really like them. What does your one look like? cos I could well be interested. I'm just a bit worried I've seen toddler seats for the single sort of prams but not twin ones. Does anyone know if it is possible to get toddler seats for twin prams?
Chopster got to love mornings with the kids gettin ready for school, I feel lucky if I've had 4 arguments or less lol and I think its sumit about DD's cos both mine are the same never rememberin why they were asked to go in the kitchen or upstairs! I looked at the mountain buggy have seen the twin but didn't know you could get them with toddler seat only seen the triple ones (which I am tryin not to have)
Egg I hope the scan goes well for you, bet you can't wait to see them again. You lucky thing I've got to wait till next wednesday.
Congrats mommlove sorry took me so long your twins are gorgeous.

frumpygrumpy · 19/09/2007 16:05

I'll do candles later.

Egg · 19/09/2007 17:51

Just the two in there [phewee]. ONE OF EACH. Woohooo. I am very chuffed. Already gone out and bought "I'm the little brother / sister all in ones (as copied from Ooogs).

Oh, and everything was ok.

inamuckingfuddle · 19/09/2007 19:00

inamuckingfuddle · 19/09/2007 19:01

frumpygrumpy · 19/09/2007 20:00

MarsLady · 19/09/2007 20:05

That was my pram! I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!! So easy to push etc even though it looks heavy.

just did my French Oral Exam! So glad it's over!

inamuckingfuddle · 19/09/2007 20:29

tis a lovely pram, light and bouncy and a pleasure to push (until they get big!)

frumpygrumpy · 19/09/2007 20:32

again

inamuckingfuddle · 19/09/2007 20:35

oh dear FG, something you want to tell us...?

frumpygrumpy · 19/09/2007 20:51

hi dingdong! I want to confess.......

DP has gone to the gym - PRAISE THE POPCORN (I don't do religious stuff )

I have fish fingers in the oven, and MN to myself

p.s. I do get broody. Frequently. Strongly. The time isn't right though, give me two years. Then fate can decide. I just don't feel finished but I think I'm maybe trying to recreate what I can't have i.e. the simple life I had when dd1 was born, only I didn't realise it was beautifully simple at the time (the time I had for caring for one baby) ...... AND I could not handle doublers again

inamuckingfuddle · 19/09/2007 21:08

enjoy the fishfingers - DH was in late tonight and picked up bacon crisps and minstrels for me on his way, bless him I'll never lose any weight...have just ordered a fab dress for a black tie do I'm off to in a couple of weeks but will need a serious crash diet beforehand - wine diet anyone?

inamuckingfuddle · 19/09/2007 21:10

also meant to say (got carried away by the dress!) that I feel broody too, at times, but also feel complete, love my girls and can't imagine how having more could be better, also there is the small matter (ha ha) of DH's snip...

Hi ladies

Just popping in to say that I am disappearing for a while due to personal reasons. I have family stuff to deal with and don't really have the emotional bandwith for MN.

Hopefully, see you all soon.

frumpygrumpy · 20/09/2007 09:18

hope you're ok speedy.... you know we will welcome you with open arms, cushions and tea moutains when you need us.

dingdong, that dress is heavenly!!! It reminds me of that dress in DecentIndecent Proposal (I so would if Robert Redford had propositioned me and I wouldn't take the dosh, its part of the its-ok-if-an-agreed-tasty-celebrity-offers-you-sex, you know that by-law, allegedly). Your dress is the same at the top as my outfit I bought for the ball. I loved wearing it. You don't need a necklace either, just fantasic earrings and a bracelet.

I'm fast walking 2 miles a day, up and down hills, 6 days a week. Have been for 3 weeks. No weight loss. Whats going on?

ExpectingKat · 20/09/2007 09:36

Inamuckingfuddle, tis a lovely pram thanx for the pics, I'll just have to find out if I can get a toddler seat for those sort of prams. I have found an attachment that goes on pushchairs its called a buggypod but not sure about prams.

Egg glad everything is good and wonderful news on girl and boy. I think thats what i would like because would be nice to have another girl but also a boy for DS (could u imagine DS in the middle of 4 girls lol)

Midwife today so I'm lookin forward to hearing the babies, would be a bit easier if I didn't have DD1 and DD2 at home feelin poorly hopefully they will be better soon.

estar · 20/09/2007 09:37

Morning ladies! After all that bosom attention and a couple of decent night's sleep, I'm feeling much better. Day off today - dts not in nursery, so dh has driven ds1 up to school while I had a lie in (!) and only have to go and pick him up at 3.15.

Of course, when I say day off, I mean time to tackle the huooooge pile of laundry to be folded, deal with paperwork, clean kitchen.....well, you all know.

Glad to hear its not just me who has the traumatic clashes just to get kids out of the door to school. Sometimes I worry I'm the only parent dropping her kids off (late!) after threatening them to within an inch of their lives, then wondering how they are dealing with the emotional turmoil of having such a nasty parent for the rest of the day. Why can they not just be told once to get dressed and then do it? It baffles me.

Only one month till my due date today! (I should add ten days tho really - no baby in our family has ever been born early)

Egg · 20/09/2007 10:21

Ah Speedy, I don't really know you yet but hope you are ok. Hoping everything sorts itself out and you are back with us soon.

Can anyone tell me why muckingfuddle is AKA dingdong? Is it because the lads always say "Ding Dong" in a Pimms O Clock kind of voice when they see her as she is so stunning? Lovely dress though .

ExpectingKat, good luck with the midwife, enjoy hearing those heartbeats. Yes I think your poor DS does need another boy to keep him company, but hey, he will be FAB with the ladies when he is older if he ends up with four sisters, he'll know everything there is to know!

Estar, I am with you on the housework thing. DS now at nursery, I am supposed to be doing chores. MIL is coming tomorrow, first time at our new house, I want it to look nice but I don't want to be the one to have to make it look nice.

frumpygrumpy · 20/09/2007 14:46

dingdong, used to be lapinrose (iirc), then at christmas she changed to dingdonglapinrose (was there more?)..... then, after Christmas she changed to dingdongjustforyoufg (since I felt she suited the dingdong bit). I think dingdong has been taken by someone else though so she switched to inamuckingfuddle but she'll always have a dingdong place in my heart. I can't call her anything else. Just like Chopster will always be Kelly.

There, did that make complete sense
