LOOK EVERYONE, THERE'S A SQUIRREL OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW!

Oh, has it run away so soon?

My phone is healed! It works! All those years of going to church has paid off! My prayers have been answered! Right, now I'm going for world peace.......

tkband3 · 18/09/2007 08:26

I'm really glad I'm reading this while eating my breakfast...not .

Mars wedding plans have come to a halt. OH and I decided we were just too stressed with other stuff in our lives (ie his new job, the extra travel, getting DD1 settled at school etc) to enjoy planning our wedding. And I want to enjoy the planning (as much as possible ) as well as the day itself. So we have decided to postpone till the spring. I am a bit about it, but with my practical capricorn head on it is most definitely the sensible thing to do.

merlypuss i had a nipper and loved it. but I now have a jane powertwin and love that too .

sorry, no time to catch up with everyone else, time for the school run. will pop by later.

MarsLady · 18/09/2007 08:28

OH AND A GIANT HIPPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long is a piece of string my angel. I could still be a couple of weeks. Sorry! Then again it could be today!

SORRY!! Did I say giant hippo? I mean hippy! All gone now!

MarsLady · 18/09/2007 08:28

Think how pretty your girls will look carrying Spring bouquets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Egg · 18/09/2007 12:54

Estar - LOL at phone, mine fell down the loo not once but THREE times (used to keep it in back pocket and it would sometimes fall out as I sat down if I forgot...). It still worked for years. Have a new one now .

LOL even more at mucus plug question. I often wonder as never knowingly lost mine last time (was prob in the mass of blood and gloop all over the bed during delivery). My friend lost hers over a MONTH before her baby was born. Is that a record?

Still want the Nipper but cannot realistically get it if there is no way of getting twins through front door without completely removing them and poss waking them every time (back passage also very narrow ).

Good news, have just got a local scan date so dont have to go to London, and it is TOMORROW, so one less day to wait. It's at 2pm so hopefully can report back with good news and genders tomorrow afternoon.

Hehe, there will be no smut from me...

Well, many years ago, I always said I wanted to have three boys. Then after DS was born, I decided that two boys was plenty. So now we are having twins, I would still like three boys, but do think one of each would be nice. Never wanted girls for some reason, but have seen some very cute girl twins around so wont complain if I get two girls!

Mommalove, realise I missed your birth announcement as I was offline. Fab news and big congrats on the little ones. They really are scrummy (had a good look at the pics). I am encouraged by the fact that they are still only very young and you are finding time to get on MN! Or is DH / DP still on paternity leave? I fear I will never get time to even turn the computer on once mine are born...

MarsLady · 18/09/2007 14:09

I think Momma has the pc embedded in her arm personally!

So exciting Egg. Can't wait to hear

Egg · 18/09/2007 14:13

Had a dream a couple of nights ago I had two girls, and then a boy popped out too .

MarsLady · 18/09/2007 14:14
tripletsandtwins · 18/09/2007 14:20

I had that dream when I was having the trio egg! I'm sure it's nothing symbolic...

MarsLady · 18/09/2007 15:07

Very funny wicked TripletsandTwins. Very funny wicked!

Egg · 18/09/2007 16:08

Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock

frumpygrumpy · 18/09/2007 18:07

surely not !!

pmsl you girls have cheered me up

estar, do you have a brownish reddish jellish thing hanging about your house? I know its maybe a little early but..........should I get out the hob nobs?

egg, how exciting! I'm glued.

gin is open btw and I'm having it with slices and squirts of sliced orange as I forgot, (arsehole) to buy lemons.

inamuckingfuddle · 18/09/2007 19:24

crappy day at work, red wine is open, bypassed the gin tonight

Dts have been to PILs and come back exhausted, poor things they really take second place to their cousin so although PILs say they want to look after DTs and we have agreed fro 2 days a fortnight, against our better judgement, their cousin's needs always come first, am considering asking PILs to come to us instead, so DTs actually get to see them properly adn not at my SIL's whims

deep breath and

oooggs · 18/09/2007 19:36

when we were on hols last week, we had to go through a 'normal' upvc doorway and the nipper wouldn't fit (it fits through the front door at home) so quick released one back wheels, pushed through and shoved it back on again - all one handed with dts both asleep in pushchair.

Just an idea

Egg · 18/09/2007 19:49

Fuddle, you definitely deserve that red wine... We are fortunate in that DS is first grandchild on DH's side, and my parents seem to treat all GC's equally, but it must be very hard to see your own DCs coming second best. Bet yours are much nicer as well .

Ooooooogs, could I ask an enormous favour? When you have a mo (if you ever have a mo...), can you see how wide Nipper is minus a wheel? Does it make a significant difference? Our doorway is a pathetic 69cm max.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, only 18 hours and 14 mins to go til I see my triplets . I did ask especially at 12-week scan for the sonographer to check there wasn't another one hiding...

inamuckingfuddle · 18/09/2007 19:52

course they are egg, little angels

oooggs · 18/09/2007 19:57

going to the garage to measure now

oooggs · 18/09/2007 20:00

not good hun

oooggs · 18/09/2007 20:01

it is exactly 69cm, but not sure how wide the door on holiday was, but I went through with no struggle at an angle - shame you can't try it out

estar · 18/09/2007 20:58

I'm sorry, Frumpy, don't know what you're talking about - I didn't say anything

Mars, I need your bosom please. Long hard day, feeling in pain, children horrible, yelled at ds1 because he was messing around when practicing reading (breaking no. 1 rule - 'do not make homework a battle'), still think we're a million miles away from moving in, not sure if I even want to speed up moving in process if it means living in a dirty worksite, wishing baby was here but dreading its arrival because everything is so chaotic, totally doubting all abilities as a mother, got a speeding ticket for the first time in nine years, sore throat from shouting at dcs, and general crapness.

I am overtired and feeling emotional. Going to bed now with cup of tea - packed lunches can wait till morning. Good night.

Morning ladies. Estar hope the ample bosoms helped yesterday . Don't think mine will ever be ample enough, but slowly getting better!

Oooogs, not good news about Nipper. Definitely not worth risk of buying and finding it gets wedged in. Doorway is prob 70cm at a push, but definitely not more. Still look longingly at the 20 or so Nippers I seem to see every day.

6 hrs 20 mins to go . DS coughed all night last night so very tired, but DH Is home today so at least we can share the tiredness (except he is still asleep in bed and I am up .
