Been down to Penzance today on the train as went well apart from the last 30 minutes!!! Overtiredness then hit in. DH and I even managed a beer in Wetherspoons garden.

Anybody missed me? Had a bad 10 days Too tired to tell all now, but basically had a few scary spells of wanting to pass out, followed by panic attacks, rushed and put on an ecg etc. Now have to go to see a cardiologist who specializes in young adult death syndrome, you all know why. Kids may have to go up to, feel so scared bt it all. Been put on a mild diazapram, can take 3 a day, but so far have only taken 1 and today none. Keep telling myself I took nothing when Matthew died, I can do this myself. Though have agreed to go for some counselling about Matthew, 13 years later. Had a real shock last Weds, good friend invited me down for coffeee, I was getting panicky about being here on my own. She had some guy in painting her hall, when he came into the kitchen for his coffee, he looked at me and said, "I know you... Matthew. He was the coroners officer who was here the morning Matthew died. 13years later he told me many things I did not know, that Matthews death was treated suspicious etc. It was sooooooooooooo awful and has brought back lots of very raw feelings. So I have missed you all and need to get back on track. Feeling much better tonight.

MarsLady · 16/06/2007 22:52

Oh darling! You know we're here... always here for you!

We have missed you. I was about to post on that triplet thread and tell you to get you butt over here.

If I could reach through my PC and hold you I would!

Oh Marslady,
A hug would be good, Becca is so good, my little sweetheart, the boys never seem to notice and dh never ever says a word. Thats how he copes with it. Just sometimes feel he thinks, "oh here she goes again". Its not all bad, but over the last 13 years I have found that things come in waves, its just that this one was abit like a tsunami!

Chopster · 17/06/2007 07:36

Oh triplets, I should think it does feel like a tsunami. {{{{{hugs}}}}}
Don't be afraid to take a little help where you need it, it doesn't sound like you are getting a lot of support, and I am in awe of your strength.
I went cold reading about what the coroner said. How awful for you to find that out after all this time.

sandyballs · 17/06/2007 07:50

This used to drive me nuts. I remember one lady peering into the pushchair, then she peered at me over the top of her glasses and said "one egg or two madam" .

And the amount of times people used to shout out in Tesco/Sainsbury's - "Was that buy one get one free" guffaw, guffaw.

sandyballs · 17/06/2007 07:51

Sorry triplets, hadn't read the whole thread, just read your message. Hope you feel better soon, must be hard with 3.

Mommalove - I'm in Saltash and work (when not on mat leave in Plymouth

frumpygrumpy · 17/06/2007 18:42

Triplets, you gave me goosebumps. I did indeed miss you and hope that your health will improve. Here's hoping that the panic attacks can be helped by a bit of counselling (I think thats a great idea btw) and if its more heart/health related then its a great idead for everyone to see the specialist. We're here for you my love, come hail, rain or shine, even if Harry deals with it differently, we can and will listen to you xxx.

As for your painter man, well, its very interesting to hear his comments and I don't want to be blunt but it is, IMHO, of absolutely no relevance what his personal opinion was at the time. There are plenty people, old and young, who pass away in the same way Matthew did and age should not make it suspicious. (My neighbours son died, like Matthew, age 14. She was a nurse and blamed herself for not noticing......crazy, its 'just' one of these awful things) I'm a little angry that he thinks its helpful to pass this onto you now. People will talk about all sorts when a young person dies and everyone is entitled to their own opinion BUT you are a real person with real feelings.

ooh, I just typed and typed without really thinking. Was I OTT?

MarsLady · 17/06/2007 18:44

I think you made perfect sense FG

Chopster · 17/06/2007 19:13

wonderfully put, fg. I too felt angry at the idea that he thought it helpful to pass this info on now. I'm not sure I would have wanted to know.

Chopster · 17/06/2007 19:15

Just realised that I forgot to announce that dd and ds1 had a birthday yesterday. 7 and 5. Can't believe I am the mother of a 7 year old!

Spent today at legoland with them, had a lovely day.

triplets · 17/06/2007 21:47

Hi,
Thank you all, all taken with the love and support you always give. Felt more me today. Sent Harry off to hgis allotment all day in peace and quiet and me and the kids went to Walmer Castle for a pic-nic then on to the local Gymkana and dog show which was fun. Weather was also lovely. The castle sells its own plants so we bought a beautiful rose called Queen Mother(she always stayed there each year) from Matthew for Fathers Day, it cheered me up. Hope you have all had a good day, xxx

triplets · 17/06/2007 21:48

Excuse spelling, Banrock Station gone to my head, no diazapam taken today!

MarsLady · 17/06/2007 21:54

Ah good old Banrock!

Hi Triplets - glad you are feeling better. Loved Walmer Castle as a child (grew up in Deal) Hope you had better weather than we did down here

frumpygrumpy · 18/06/2007 17:26

OMG. The sun has popped out! Its been raining here for days and now a glimmer of sunshine!

oooggs · 18/06/2007 19:18

Hi frumpygrumpy all 3 dc's in bed asleep by 7pm. The bedtime routine is working, even though dh is here this evening doing his share. It is great to have 'adult time' again.

How old are your dc's?
