Aw trips. Hope you're feeling better now. And that your brood are looking after you.

James ot was sick. Which I found out after i had been waiting for half and hour and the receptionist spent 20 minutes trying to get hold of someone. Not impressed.

Toddlers in our village has been cut due to funding. Even less impressed.

Generally having an all round crappy day. Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary and it looks like we've friends coming over as it was either tonight or tomorrow. Just want to curl up and hide.

Happy anniversary for tomorrow ruby? I know I share the same date with one of you.

Trips- hope you are feeling a bit better. Your brood need a swift kick up the backsideAngry I wonder how they would react if you ignored a special day for them, such as their prom or even their birthdayWink
here are some Thanks and Wine from me.
Rubes!!! nice to 'see' you, you have been missedGrin
Soks I hope James calms down and lets you get some resr Angry Angry over OT and toddlers group, living in a village has some disadvantages, losing small community groups is one of them, we had the same problem here when boys were young, we were lucky tho, the Baptist churvh let us meet and use their stuff for free and to repay them, we fund raised for new equipment.
Shabs- hope your mothers day went well.
Chops- your meal description the other day soundeed lovely.
Must admit, no card from anyone, but boys had bought me daffs and a bag of tangfastic (my favouriteGrin) which they gave me in advance on Friday, and made me breakfast in bed yesterday. We decided that the day was so nice we would go to Felixstowe yesterday afternoon, it was a lovely calm, warm day to walk the prom and eat fish and chips on the seafront, much better than paying exorbitant mothers day prices in a restaurant.

bubby64 · 31/03/2014 18:05

Just went into Jame's room, and the lazy little bugger hasn't put the clean linen I gave him Saturday on his bed, he is sleeping on the under sheet and his quilt has no cover on. The clean linen is in a heap on the floorAngry Angry How long does it take to put a fitted sheet and quilt cover on a bed!

Tomorrow DH is getting glitter in his car air vents. And K is getting a balloon cake Wink

triplets · 31/03/2014 22:53

Mama you lose me at times, why is dh getting glitter and why would you do it? I have not eaten now for 32 hours, still getting the pains, such a waste of a day! Thank you girls for the get well wishes, somebody cares for me :)

MultipleMama · 31/03/2014 22:58

It's April Fools tomorrow. And it's payback for when he did it to me on April Fools 2 years ago Grin

Hope you start to feel better soon, and getting plenty of fluids xx

Chopstheduck · 01/04/2014 07:33

Morning ladies!

I would have a fit if someone put glitter in my air vents! We do quite a lot of pranks in our house though.

We did get dt1 good yesterday. He is obsessed by Nike. Spends all his money on Nike running gear, especially 'dri-fit' technical wear - he runs for the school.

DH edited a webpage and created a email shot with a photoshopped image for Nike's latest 'new product' - a dri-fit nappy complete with Nike logo, etc. Grin He still isn't dry at night, and now he is adamant he is saving £39 for a 'dri fit' nappy! GrinGrin I think today we will have to come clean, and maybe add an april fool's pop up to the page :)

We got him the other week too actually - witheld our numbers and made prank phone calls. Fake Chinese and lots of yelling 'you no hang up on me!' We were almost wetting outselves downstairs and dt1 was totally perplexed. Eventually he sussed us out and crept down the stairs to catch us out Grin

that sounds lovely, bubby. We did go out, to Billy Wyman's Sticky Fingers in London. It was nice but it was very overpriced for what it was.

Hope you are feeling better now, trips.

I am full of cold. Rather frustrating, since no gym next week, and now will get sod all done this week. I have a ski lesson today though, and will def drag myself out for a run tomo.

Hope James is better today, soks?

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 01/04/2014 08:03

Morning lovelies. I love the idea of glitter in the air vents. Dh would have a fit if I did it in his new car though Grin

Friends are coming over this evening. Grr. Means my plans for a yummy curry have to be deferred until tomorrow as one of them won't eat homemade curry after a bad experience elsewhere. And I do make a mean curry.

James is up and down this morning. Currently smashing the stair gate against itself as I've said no to him playing on my phone. Have plans for him to help me make the dts birthday cake later. Could be interesting!

Evening all, have eaten supper tonight and wishing I hadn`t, pains coming back in my stomach plus headache! So where are you Mama to report on how the glitter prank went??

MultipleMama · 01/04/2014 21:29

DH text me once he arrived at work and told me he was officially glitterfied. He had a great time explaining to his boss - I've met his boss before and he's pretty accepting, the only thing that happened was hewas told to miss a budget meeting with some investors and hoover his office at the end of the day Grin he finished cleaning the car an hour ago and still bits of glitter come out the air con... oops.

K screamed when his balloon cake popped but then he gave me puppy eyes and said, "so I don't have a real cake?" A thought the pink milk was from an actual hippo.

The potty jelly and kitty litter cake was brilliant. The kids squealled at what "mama" was eating. However they loved pretending to eat some too in front of DH :)

Chopstheduck · 02/04/2014 06:40

Morning girls

I copied a fellow twin mum's prank off facebook yesterday, made brown 'E's out of paper and put them in a tray covered in foil - 'Brownies!' The dts helped me and we pranked dd, who has a very sweet tooth. her face as she twigged was a picture! Grin

I did make a real brownie for them too though, couldn't be totally mean Grin

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 02/04/2014 07:56

Ha ha ha mama and chops! I particularly enjoyed seeing the mumsie, flormite, chocolate coated peas and square eggs pop up in my newsfeed. I don't think any of my friends pulled any pranks though.

So the twins are two today. Eek! They've had fun playing with their new kitchen and trains already. Although Jennifer was originally more interested in postman pat when she came down. Been looking at their teeny baby photos again this morning. I really must print them off and put them in a photo album.

Hope everyone has a good day today x

"Wow" two already! Happy Birthday to our "pair of soks" hope they have had a lovely day :)

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 03/04/2014 11:55

Ok so the twins birthday was a lovely day. If chaotic with arguments over over playing with toys - bigs versus smalls. But this week actually sucks and I can't wait for it to be over. On Monday I wasted a journey to see James' ot, who was sick. Yesterday I wasted a journey to see my guider training mentor who wasn't at home - she has since explained but still... On the way home from failed meeting a car bashed into me in dh's car and today the twins have poured two cups of milk which got left on the bookshelf everywhere. These are the big twos cups and despite me telling dh and kids until I'm blue in the face that we do have a dining table which is better to use, they all still put them at toddler height. I then don't realise they are there and whoops, milk all over toys, books, DVDs, sky box, printer and floor. Today I had to strip both twins as well as they were soaked and Jennifer had paddled in it . Oh, and James also wet the bed this morning, our bed. And breath!

Morning girls

CAMHS appointment today - should find out what decision they have made regarding ds1. I'm expecting them to say he still doesn't quite meet the criteria, i think anything else will be a shock tbh.

troublewithteens · 04/04/2014 09:20

Shabs- how are you this morning love?

MultipleMama · 04/04/2014 11:03

Shabs hopw your sad is home soon and you manage to catch some rest. Flowers

Good Luck, Chops. I hope you get the results you're hoping for :)

Soks - sounds manic! Hopw today is a little more peaceful for you!Brew and Cake for you!

Bubs - that is a bargain! Grin

Life here is crazy at the moment finding every spare minute I can to relax and browse on here just for some adult conversations. I cannot remember a night where I had some decent sleep without disruption. The DC are constantly wanting to be outside so having to be in and out the house checking on the A-team and them. The dog keeps glaring at me because his home gets invaded by little people and has taken to hiding in the sunroom behind the sofa. And this morning I couldn't find the twins at all - found them both sat hunched in the dog cupboard eating his chocolate coated biscuits... I also need the dentist as I think I've lost some of my bottom filling.

Oh and dad is arriving on Monday as A turns 3yo on Tuesday. Neverending.

shabbs · 04/04/2014 20:10

Things have gone downhill today Sad Doctor thinks he is nearing the end and they have asked myself and my brother about resusitation - we both said no to that idea.

My two lads, myself, hubby, mum, and my nephew and his wife have all been tonight and my Dad is being violently sick and really has rapidly declined today.

When we went in he didnt seem concious - i went to hold his hand and he grabbed my hand very hard - he motioned to me (pointed to himself) I (pointed to his heart) love and then pointed at me.

Please god IF you exist take my dad very soon - he does not deserve this bastard cancer. My Gareth & Matt will be waiting for their grandad - what a joyous reunion that will be xxx
