Hi All - Chops- belated birthday wishes for your 2.
Soks- I hope that they have caught anything early, its so hard waiting, isnt it..Sad I also remember the climhing days, my 2 used to help each other over babygates!Wink
Trips- join the club!Blush I had to order the uniform for my new job, and was embarrassed yo havevto order a 20 bottom and 24 top- curse these oversized bazookersConfused
Shabs-I think you need another (((hug))) girl.
mama- no good asking for advice from me re buying v renting, especially in Germany. I'd ask a financial consultant for his advice.
Well - just finished my last day at my old job, tears all round, as I have a lot of friends there. I came away with a luscious 4 layer choc cake with yellow choc roses on, I will try and post a pic soon, also several bunches of flowers, a plant, huge box of Thornton chocs, (never going to diet with this lot!)a silver photo frame, and lots of hugs and kisses - the people there say they are really going to miss me, which was nice, but also heartbreaking. Never mind onward and upward with the new job, a new challenge for meGrin .

Sorry, I've not been active on here lately. Halo is teething and I'm pretty much exhausted. Hope everyone is well :)

triplets · 29/03/2014 18:11

Hello Mama yes you have been awful quiet, who is Halo???

MultipleMama · 29/03/2014 19:41

Halo is Apollo. We used to call him A'lo but K kept saying Halo instead, so the nn just stuck :)

Chopstheduck · 29/03/2014 21:22

Hello! :)

Took dt1 to rugby game and then had lovely dinner of curry goat, jerk chicken and rice and peas. (Cooked this morning)

Sat here worn out, relaxed and stuffed!

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 29/03/2014 22:10

Hi! Campfire sing a long a great success. Marshmallows sandwiched between chocolate digestives - who knew how yummy they were. More badges to sew on!

Josh climbed into jen's cot this am. She got her own back by tickling him. Such a beautiful moment. GrinGrin

Did your Dad have his colonoscopy today? xx

bubby64 · 30/03/2014 00:32

Hi, just back from watching Robot Wars Live. Very good but very loud! The boys really enjoyed it though. However, the whole evening was ruined a bit as Mike took his pad to film it, (against our wishes) and then left it on the gift stall and it "disappeared". We got the announcer to ask if anyone had seen it, and at the end of the show we were very lucky, and someone handed it in, saying they had "found" it under the seating at the back, he hadn't even been at the back of the hallHmm The 16gig memory chip has gone from it tho.

Happy birthday to my beautiful mum, who I love and miss with all my heart. She taught me that there's no way to be a perfect parent but a million ways to be a really good one. I wish she was here to she her Grandchildren grow up. Aubrey reminds me so much of her - the little green thumb that she is. Flowers

MultipleMama · 30/03/2014 07:39

I meant Happy Mother's day!**- urgh, lack of sleep.

Morning girls xx

MultipleMama · 30/03/2014 19:10

Dad just text me. He's crying watching Surprise, Surprise. Apparently something to do with pop n grow?? I have no idea.

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 30/03/2014 20:48

Evening.

Mama, I think pop n grow provide free baby wear for babies in nicu. They're specially designed to accommodate all the wires and things needed.

Dad's colonoscopy is next week. The earliest they could fit him in. They have nothing sooner apparently. But I guess it's good that there isn't a rush on to get it done...

We went to my parents for dinner today. My sister and youngest niece joined us - when mum rang to invite us she actually gave me the choice of whether she was invited or not. I told her as much as I would love to say 'could it just be us' I would feel very unfair to my sister on Mothering Sunday when her oldest two were with their dad. The 3 kids have the same dad but he and his family have no concept of how ill youngest can get with her allergies, intolerances and asthma.

So it was the usual amount of chaos minus the two eldest. James did well considering, but spending time with my inlaws after was just too much and he was demanding to go home. He adores nana and grandad usually. He's also spent the evening in major meltdown mode, screaming and shouting and then hitting, kicking, slapping, pushing, head butting me and more when it came round to bedtime. He's still crying out now, although cries for me and when I go up he wants daddy. Doesn't know whether he's coming or going. I just want to take his hurt away Hmm

The pop and grow is a babygrow designed by a father of a premie baby that has poppers down both sides so parents could still dress their little one allowing for all leads, iv lines etc to be accommodated without disturbing anything. It gives the parents a feeling of control as they are able to care for their tiny one, rather than leave everything to the scbu staff. A very cleaver idea really

triplets · 30/03/2014 22:02

I have had a miserable day and now have stomach cramps an feel sick, glad when today is over :(

MultipleMama · 30/03/2014 22:50

Oh, I know what Pop n Grow are. We used them for the twins during the NICU days. I was wondering if you knew why they were on TV.

Managed to the info from dad eventually; the woman who started pop n grow was being surprised by her friend for the work she's done for the charity. Dad found it emotional.

Sok, I hope James manages to settle and sleep peacefully with wonderful dreams. At least they've set a date within a reasonable timeframe which can only be good xx

RUBY YOU'RE BACK! I did shout for you but lost my voice Wink

Tea gratefully accepted. Do you have matchsticks?

James had a very, very bad night. Is having a bad morning. Wondering if he can keep it up for OT this morning. Joshua keeps asking 'where Jen Jen?' - she's at nana and grandad's. With a cracking egg on her head where she fell over a cushion yesterday Blush

Morning girls - good to see you Rubester xx

MultipleMama · 31/03/2014 09:23

Ruby, is that really?! Yay!

I'll take a piece of that cheesecake! I'm comfort eating this morning.

triplets · 31/03/2014 12:02

Please dont mention food........been sick all night. Currently still in bed feeling ghastly and every bone now is aching. Basically y/day my trio all ignored me all day, two out of three couldnt be bothered to come down and wish me Happy Mothers Day or give me the card and present already bought for them by their father. At 16 I think its disgraceful and hurtful. So what with that and 24 hours of stomach pains I am not a happy Mummy!
So Rubyruby where for art thou have you been? We have all missed you! xx
