Bubby - That's a great deal you got there!

The kids are getting 4 presents each, 3 little ones from us and 1 big one from Santa. Decided to get A a doll's carrier like mine for her "baby" we were gunna get her a pushchair but saving that for her birthday. K is getting a proper drawing table for his room, not idea on the twins! Help!

Also, had K in tears today after school. He has a friend in school who's parents are Jehovah's witnesses so when this little boy said that he doesn't believe in Santa. K thought he meant Santa had died and was with Grandma in the stars.... broke his heart poor thing. Tried to explain it to him and I think he understood, he's still stumped how someone cannot believe in Santa because "everyone like Santa, mama!"

It does take a while for them to feel truly warm again. Even bundled up in layers and so on, they've been frozen from walking to school and back. Whereas 4 was toasty warm. Taken to having snuggles on my lap a lot more and I'm sure it's so they get warmer. Think I'll be keeping a close eye on things. I've a list as long as my arm to ask gp next time I see her. I'm sure she'll thinking m nuts but niggling doubts with #2 have got us a paediatrician saying there are significant concerns and autistic traits so I can't be all wrong or paranoid.

That is a good deal on the galaxy pads. I'm a convert to apple. Terrible I know but everything works so well together. I can even do my spreadsheets and things now so have no need for the windows laptop. The dc are pleased as it means they get to share my old iPad. I've deleted everything They can cause trouble with and loaded up games and educational apps. They're thrilled.

Sok - She may think your nuts but at least you're not ignoring what's there. I'd rather ask a million questions! I hope you get everything sorted and your little soklets feel warmer and cosey more!

Someone pass the matchsticks!
Dc2 crawled into our bed sometime around 1am apparently.
At 4, dc3 was screaming her head off. She even managed to get herself upside down in cot, legs stuck in bars!! She was absolutely frozen! So I hauled her into our bed for a little while as she wouldn't settle at all. Got her just about warm before she decided it would be fun to roam all over the bed. So she ended up back in her bed, just as cold as when I picked her up and screaming her head off again. Off to get some more fleecy sleep suits and wheat bags today. Can't find my hot water bottle and tbh I think she would benefit from having something in bed rather than just taking the chill off the sheets. Have also cranked up their radiator.

Morning girls xx

Oh you brought back memories for me Mini!!!

Used to dread night time with my twins! Expressed milk for Gareth and BF Dan......the amount of times I have woken up still with Dan using me for a dummy and Gareth with the bottle just out of his mouth.....both needing changing (the days before disposables) - just the three of us in a stinky, milky bed LOL. Eventually I had to stop sitting up in bed feeding and sit on a chair with them. The tiredness is beyond anything else I have ever known.

......and, as for our Tom........... the worst sleeper I have ever, ever known. He is still rubbish at sleeping!!!!

Hey, Charleymouse! Any chocolate nuts on there, I love those!

Took Artie out with dad today, needed a few bits and bobs and I needed the fresh air! One lady commented my "husband" and I on our beautiful daughter. My dad was pleased that he looked young enough to have another child which brought up a subject I was not ready for!, after telling her the truth, she tried to flirt with him. It was embarrassing.

Tonight Artie and I are spending the night with Apollo, he had a wobble this morning but he had a few hours on IPPV and then went back to CPAP :)

Shabs............which month is the best?? Happy drooling Xmas Grin

Spent a lovely day up at primary school to help out with the Nativity. There is a particular little boy that I adore, he is also the naughtiest. He got changed into his costume and said
"Mrs Peace do you like my velvet cloak? I am a king and I am a very very bad king (pulls fierce face) and when the baby Jesus comes out I am going to strangle it first then stab stab stab it with my sword coz I don`t like babies". ...........walks off! I will remember this day if I read his court case in 20 years time!!

My dad told me today that he's seriously thinking of fostering and considering adoption. He says that he has so much love and life to give. He says he has an empty house so why not offer it to a child who needs what he has to freely give. "I will never love another woman but my heart will always have space for a child." My dad could always surprise me, dad is only 43 so... I'm still gobsmacked!

Oh and Apollo is 3lbs!! :)

Hello charley mouse. Good to 'see' you. Feel free to offload here if you need a friendly ear.

Mama. That is lovely. You do make me feel old though! Your dad is just 4 years older than my dh! It sounds like your family has so much love to give and anyone sharing even a small piece of that would be truly blessed.

Work are still piss arsing about. How many months now?
And dh has also had to tell the school what's going on in case they see anyone odd hanging around - it's not just dd1 who it affects as another child has parents who work there too. It's all getting really quite serious. Hmm

Anyway, today I am getting things ready for rainbows Xmas party tonight and for the sleepover tomorrow. 50 gingerbread men to bake! Also have to go and get a new tyre as one of mine has a massive bulge, then pick up a tutu for dd1 which I bought last night and she can wear to her party tonight. It's a rainbow coloured one Grin

Such a busy day. And tomorrow taking the bigs to the theatre!

Rubs, my mama was 37. She passed away 2 weeks after my gender scan with K. Pancreatic Cancer. Dad threw himself into us and dotes on everyone but I constantly worry about him. I want him to find happiness again but he refuses to acknowledge the subject.

I'm all for him fostering/adopting especially since his process started 2 week ago! I just wanted him to be sure, I'd love a younger sibling and would offer love to any child young or older and would welcome them into our family opening :)

Hope you have fun baking, Sok!!

Morning. I neeeeeeed sleep! I actually think I'll get more sleep with 50 odd girls than with my own small children.

Dot baby was awake and screaming for 4 sodding hours. FOUR HOURS!! I did sleep through some of it. Dh and I took turns to pass out from exhaustion!

Oh, and it sounds very confusing but I'm really not liking the absence of names :( so am reverting to nicknames from when the babies were tiny. So we have biggest, bigger, big and dot baby. Dot baby is dtd as she was teeny even though older than Big.
