sorry, didnt mean to pist twice!

shabbs · 26/02/2014 15:01

My Gawd we spent many 'happy' hours trying to do Maths homework. I am useless at Maths - remember not being able to do equations for weeks with Tom. In the end we got a Maths DVD from school which explained everything step by step. Still made very little sense to me but Tom eventually got the 'hang of' equations!!!

triplets · 26/02/2014 20:37

who "pist" twice then ? :o
made myself laugh last night, was emailing a photo to a friend who is not very pc savvy, as the pic was quite small I typed
"click and it should enlarge"............only the c didn`t print..........Blush

Happy Birthday Mama Thanks and Cake hope you are having lovely evening and your Dad arrived safely :)

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 26/02/2014 21:43

Mwah hah at lick and print. Probably the sort of thing my dear PC illiterate mother would do.

Finally finished James' dla form today. It's only been months! Also had another salt appt come through.

HV (another new one) coming out tomorrow to do twins 22 month check. Sent me 2 forms to fill in - 1 for each. It's funny seeing how opposite their development has been in writing. Joshy may do everything first, but Jen does it with gusto and hurtles herself into everything. She's started with a funny stiff/straight legged run lately and it's so amusing watching her skitter along like a foal whose only just been born and can barely stand. And the pure devilment in her eyes. She's going to be a cheeky one for sure.

And I lost a whole 1.5lb at weightwatchers. I'm now back down to the weight I was when I started in November Blush. Must make sure that keeps going the right way. Even if tea tonight was last night's left over sweet and sour pork balls with crunchy peanut rice. Yum yum.

Morning ladies, like a monsoon out there again.........just when I thought Spring had sprung!! Shabs, where art thou this merry morn?

shabbs · 27/02/2014 12:48

I have been to the Great Metropolis aka Bolton!!! Mums 80th birthday on Saturday so Dad neeed a pressie and card for her. I hate Bolton - in fact I hate going shopping (the least girly girl I know!!)

Got her a couple of lovely jumpers and a soppy card from him. Now I have to take them down, show them to him, wrap them up and help him write the card LOL. Whilst all the time Mum will be shouting up the stairs 'What are you two buggers up to?' Grin

My Gawd I am so tired.

MultipleMama · 27/02/2014 13:04

Haha Shabs, your parents sound like a hoot! :)

Well, today I am spending my birthday money in Frankfurt shopping centre while dad watches the DC at soft play and takes them for food :D - their first ever fast junk food!

bubby64 · 27/02/2014 22:47

Evening All. Back from parents evening then a chinese buffet, we had a voucher for chinese, all you can eat for £7.50 a head, and it was cooked to order, absolutely delicious!
Parents evening seemed much more organised this year and not so stressfull. They held it in the sports hall, with teachers at tables all round the edge, much easier than going from class to class. Boys doing ok, except for some homework issues, and the fact that they have both been "coasting" a bit, they need to get their fingers out and start to work!

triplets · 28/02/2014 23:01

BOO! Where are you all?

Come out come out where ever you are!

.....waits....

and waits......

straightens shag pile, finds manky flip flop..........

turns off light.....

zzz zzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

bubby64 · 28/02/2014 23:05

Bubbs............good news re your interview, have popped your disc back in the post today....................thank you so much! xx

MultipleMama · 01/03/2014 02:35

Brill news on your interview, bubs! :)

I am once again in hospital with Apollo - he has somehow managed to catch a chest infection but we have no idea how! He was sedated on CPAP but they've weaned him off the setative and giving him antibiotics. Should be home by this afternoon with a prescription for him. Artie was kept in too as a precaution but she's totally healthy. This drama is never ending! Hmm

Any weekend plans, ladies? :) x

Morning girls xx

My Mums 80th today.....spent about 6 hours at theirs last night. My stupid, stupid, stupid brother brought Mum the biggest bottle of Tia Maria for her birthday. Before Mum got Alzheimers she was not a drinker....she would just have a drink on special occassions. Last night she drank half of the bottle and ended up falling downstairs.

Carers rang - the ambulance was there but she would not go to hospital - they checked her over and said there were no injuries. Then knobhead brother rings to say 'sorry I cant get over from my house - me and my new partner are going out for a meal Angry what an absolute knob he is. I kept my temper and said I needed to have a talk with him asap.

Went down and poured gallons of coffee down my mums neck and made her eat. All the time my Dad is sat in his chair unable to speak he is that upset. Got home and just sat here dazed and having a bit of a cry.

I hope that I die before I get ill like they both are....there is no fun in growing old.

triplets · 01/03/2014 10:15

Morning all.........Mama so hope A is ok what a worry for you xx
A lie in..................well done:)

Shabs, poor poor Dad, he must have been so distraught. Oh dear, on her special day. Wish I could help, I`d be there in a flash. Please give her my love and say Happy Birthday, I hope you can all enjoy the rest of the day. xx

bubby64 · 01/03/2014 12:03

Shabs - All I can do is send (((((hugs))))), hope your Mum and Dad are now OK, and give your d(?)Bro a slap from me. Hooe Mums b'day is all good from now on.
Trips - disc dropped through letterbox today, thanks, if you need anything else, let me know xxxx
Soks - hurrah for your lie in, but just think, in 12 or so yrs time you will have no problems getting a lie in, as kids will not emerge before 10am on w/end unless extreme reason. Mind you, you will need it, as they will keep you awake to all hours because they won't go to bed until after midnight! lol
Mama- hope blueA recovers quickly, good thing pinkA didn't get it too. x
Chops- you out there love?

shabbs · 01/03/2014 12:34

Just got back from my parents - been there since 9am. Mum doesn't even remember falling last night. Dad has hidden the drink. She is subdued and a bit sad today. Scrubbed the house for them from top to bottom - all family members are going today but staggering their visits so she doesn't get overwhelmed. Everybody except my prick of a brother (who is having a weekend in the lake district with his new lady friend who is half his age)....the carers know who brought the drink in and said they will be having a word with him.

Mum just has a couple of small bruises and said she thinks she either has a hangover or is pregnant because she feels a bit sick!!

Will be going again tomorrow to take their clean laundry back.

At least the sun is shinning here!

triplets · 01/03/2014 15:11

If she is pregnant I`ll have a word with "our" Harry!

MultipleMama · 02/03/2014 01:02

Glad your mum is okay Shabs, and wasn't seriously hurt. Your brother however is a dummkof! Grin

Heard today that Putin has declared war on Ukraine by invading Ukraine with soldiers despite warnings to back off. I'm concerned of what he's intentionally started. UK, US, and Canada are involved. Is this the next world war? I don't think he cares about the consequences or the impact it will have on Russia itself. I'm worried about my brother and Petrov over there...

shabbs · 02/03/2014 08:40

Morning girls.

Was at my friends till at least 2am...putting the world to rights and gossiping Smile Got in bed about 3am and was wide awake 2 hours later. Its going to be a very long day.

bubby64 · 02/03/2014 13:10

Shabbs- glad your mum is ok your bro definitely needs a swift kick up his backside.
Mama- I'm sure your DB and P will be ok, I must admit I was thinking about them the other day when the violence was happening over there.
I was woken this morning to a screaming argument between my boys, M had pinched Js HDMI cable for xbox, as he has damaged his own, J, quite rightly, wanted it back. M is now wanting us to drive to nearest town, 8 miles, to get him a new one. I am refusing, saying I can get it tomorrow, que ranting and screaming again. I then told him to get on his bike and cycle to get it, que for total meltdown. It doesn't take much for him to do that atm, these outbursts are getting far to intense and frequent for my liking latelySad.

MultipleMama · 02/03/2014 14:44

Bubs - I called him today and you were right, they are fine. Petrov is a little more worried as his cousin is currently vacationing in Ukraine and due back to Russia next weekend. I've told them that if the situation doesn't refuse they come stay with me or dad until the worst is over. Hopefully it doesn't get that far.

Could M buy the cable online or does he want it like "right now or his world will end". Such a petty thing for him to argue with you over. Hope he calms down for you xx

bubby64 · 02/03/2014 22:05

Mama- it was a definite "world will end" moment! Imagine a toddler tantrum but with swearing and physical violence.Sad Sad

He calmed down this pm as he found the normal cables so at least he can work his xbox, just the picture isn't quite so good.
What realky p*ed me off was that I had bought them both 3 months gold membership yesterday, as they had good school reports. I felt thst the fact i had spent money on him yet again was totally unappreciated.
