Evening ladies. Since we're at 999 now. Was feeling reflective tonight.

OP posts:

Did some fresh air so took all 6 DC to the park Shock. Inside I was bricking it, I had wild daydreams where they would all run off in different direction and cause complete chaos. We have one tantrum but otherwise they were good as gold - except Apollo who constantly fussing but after tips from the audiologist we managed with his ear defenders.

Back to using my ABC Quad Buggy again. Feels so weird, always have to wear my Jeff Campbells so I can get a good view over the top!

Just waiting for dinner to cook while the DC are occupied. I'm ready for bed!

How are you lovely ladies, today? X

bubby64 · 19/02/2014 18:42

Hi.
Trips - What a scare! Glad James is ok, and great service from Tescos, and at least British Gas sorted you out too. Better than the service we got from Samsung, although we did get issues with Ms pad sorted in the end.
Mama - Apollo is gorgeous, and he was so tiny, I thought J was small at 2.2lb, he would have been a giant beside A at first!
DH very down atm, trying to cheer him up a little for his birthday tomorrow. I have baked a cake, wrapped the gift i bought for him, and the boys have, for the first time, taken the initiative and gone out and bought him a gift with their own money!Shock
I have also bought him his favorite meal of Rump Steak with all the trimmings, thank god for Lidl, as they have it on offer atmBlush

Evening all...............feeling peed orf........thats for Shabs benefit :o with dk............grrrr we were just finishing supper when the phone rang. It was a girlfriend of min who hardly ever phones me, so answered it. We chatted for a good 5 mins, I went back to the kitchen and got an ear full aout another meal being ruined, I should have ignored it etc. Bloody rich coming from someone who continually ruins a meal by keeping us waiting to eat because hes not ready!!! James didnt phone tonight...............missing him.....
Bubbs hope your dh is ok, mine I could throttle atm ...............

triplets · 20/02/2014 08:26

MultipleMama · 20/02/2014 12:51

Afternoon! It's like a madhouse here. I've had to tell my PiL they cannot visit for awhile as DH and I want to spend time with the DC and get into a routine. They aren't happy but I can't be bothered to deal with it.

triplets · 20/02/2014 22:39

Ok .........roll count needed............hmm, right............
I`m here :o

bubby64 · 20/02/2014 23:40

Trips- sorry, been an awful day. I was given notice of redundancy this afternoon, employment ending 31st March. To say I was shocked and upset is an understatement, i had to come home, i couldn't stay there today, and on DHs birthday to bootSad Sad Sad . After the talk I had with my manager in December, and the new contract in January, I thought I was safe, at least for the moment. I now realise it was to reduce their costs on the redundancy a bit, as my post became a stand alone post and not a job share, and also they reduced my pay as well. To be honest, I feel shaftedAngry

bubby64 · 20/02/2014 23:43

I have spent the evening updating my cv and sending it out.

MultipleMama · 21/02/2014 03:03

God, bubs that's awful and bloody sly of them! They'd do anything to pay you less and it's wrong! I'm annoyed on your behalf. I hope you manage to have some good luck with your CVs!

Awake with Apollo and the twins (due for their feed). Artie is fast on but if Apollo carries on she'll be up too. He's refusing to feed or settle so DH has got up and is currently walking around the garden with him. Think I might keep the twins in with me; too tired to put them back in their cot! Need sleep...

triplets · 21/02/2014 05:15

Morning.........can`t sleep for some reason. Bubbs really sorry to hear your news, what a shock. No consolation but I believe things have to happen for a reason. Life takes us on unexpected turns, we can never go back, only forwards. xx

Chopstheduck · 21/02/2014 07:16

aww, bubby that is shit :( Hope you find something much better soon xx

My bro got made redundant right before Xmas. He is now working in a nice office, with lifts to and from work daily and he has he redundancy pay just gone in this week for spends. Hopefully it will all work out well for you too.

Thank God it's friday. CSA is late going in as bloody usual, so spent the week broke and bored. Feel a bit sorry for the kids, btu they have been happy enough watching films and playing, it's just me really that is bored stiff with sitting indoors!

shabbs · 21/02/2014 09:59

Morning girls xx

Angry on your behalf Bubby - dont know whats happening in this country but I feel like running far away from it. I hope you find something soon....and a job that pays more and you enjoy - keeping everything crossed here for you xx

bubby64 · 21/02/2014 12:12

I have been thinking of going back to full time work for a while, but was comfortable in the position I was in, so this is the push I needed to make that decision, if I can find a suitable post. I really want to stay in Occupational Health, but will take anything nursing wise as a stopgap. Really don't want to go back to shift work tho.

MultipleMama · 21/02/2014 13:43

Trying to get DH on mumsnet! I think it would be hilarious! But he's not budging. Damn. Haha.

shabbs · 21/02/2014 15:31

Oh my word I would hate my hubby to be on here........are you really that crazy Missus??? Grin

MultipleMama · 21/02/2014 17:17

He reads almost everything I write anyway and I spend most of the time replying on my phone while bf and leaning back against him so he just looks over my shoulder and asks what I'm replying to then he rambles his own opinion on the subject. Like write now, as my writing this he has his chin on my shoulder... your stubble tickles, shoo Grin

He says he'd rather ramble to me and then hide behind me... Hmm

triplets · 21/02/2014 22:06

Mine would have a fit if he read half the things I put on here...............maybe he should Hmm

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 21/02/2014 22:16

Sok - Needle pricks are the worst aren't they? 3rd behind papercuts and stubbing your toe! Hope you finish with all 10 fingers & thumbs attached! Grin

Trips - DH sometimes gets grumpy and is like "do you have to talk about me". It's funny when you he munk on.

Just dreamfed the boys and Apollo is finally sleeping. Time for bed! Tomorrow is our first family outing! :)

triplets · 22/02/2014 07:13

Angry with Thomas, he went off to a friends y/day and has stayed the night, that means he is not here to do his paper round, I have txt and phoned and he wont come home because all the boys are staying. I know its only a paper round but its letting people down and I hate that. I have txt him the shops number to let them know, if he hasnt I will be furious, I know the owners very well. Good start to the w/end!

Oh...........morning :)

shabbs · 22/02/2014 09:08

Morning girls xx

triplets · 22/02/2014 15:15

MultipleMama · 22/02/2014 18:15

Massive blow out with PiL. Normally they're lovely people and great to get on with and they adhere to our parenting style even if they don't agree. The last major blow out we had was when A was younger and she had severe seperation anxiety and didn't want to be near them but they kept trying and really upsetting her and then told us to stop being soft with her and our lack of visiting caused it.

Now it's because refuse to bloody listen. We informed them that for us to visit them or visa versa they had to do a few things because of Apollo's allergies and asthma - like wear no perfume or no smoking. FiL smokes and grumbled about it but said he'd to stop smoking if he wanted to hold him - MiL however blew up and refused to understand why we're making things difficult and making excuses and that "doctors don't know everything and he just needs to toughen up" and then stating that we were purposely ignoring them or we would have told them when Apollo came home needless to say I got mad and told her to make changes or the only way she'd see him is by skype. DH was made to feel worse when they made a snide comment saying; "if you were more a man and not sin yourself with others your son would have Lord on his side" - it's a complete mess! - All because they made an unannounced visit and MiL try to pry A from me when she stunk of her perfume and had to use his nebulizer when he started screaming and working himself up.

So much for a quiet week of bonding!

triplets · 22/02/2014 21:16

Oh Mama what a mess, awful situation. They do have to accept that for now there has to be strict guidelines and you and your dh must do what you feel is right for your family, surely they must see that? You must stick to your guns on this one, you cannot take any risks with Apollo. I hope you can all find a happy medium, you don`t need any extra stress put on you. xx

Well boyo came home at 4pm, very tired and hasnt stopped eating since. Told him early night and up that shop for 6.30pm! DD eventually came down for a bowl of cereal at 4pm, then appeared for supper at 7pm, departed the dining room at 7.15pm! Cant wait for this phase to pass, hate it.
