Mama- the ring is certainly...different! I take it you are into all the gothic stuff.
Trips, hope both yor boys have a good time, can give no advise about your dd though, but it all sounds very familiar from what my friends with teenage girls have said. Just hang on to the thought that she will grow out of it eventually.
Shabs, since I didn't crawl in the door til 2am, having consumed a fair amount of wine, then got woken up at 7am by the oncall phone, you can definitely pass those matchsticks over! Very good evening though, we ended up playing this stupid boardgame called "3 in 30seconds" in which our answers got more outlandish as the evening went on and the empties acumulated.
Dh laughed and called me a druken idiot when I had trouble getting my key in the front door!

MultipleMama · 16/02/2014 14:54

Not really, but I love skulls and anything different. But I do love gothic like jewellry. However my style of clothing runs along the lines of skinny jeans and band t-shirt, with the odd fake leather jacket Grin.

K has upset his grandparents, quite hilarious really. I blame my dad for sending the YT video for C4's olympic advert!

Naughty bubs! Grin Glad you had a great time!

Woke up from a nap a bit ago, which was lovely but sent me into panic mode as I hadn't fed Artie since 6pm, so just asked DH if she'd been fussing at all, his response; "yes, she fuss in her sleep, but that was an hour ago. You were exhausted so I just manouvered you a little and put her on the boob. She fed, now asleep better. Now I sleep." Then he turned over and went back to sleep! I should feel violated or angry but I honestly just relieved so I can go back to sleep!

Haven't seen Apollo today at all and I miss him! X

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 17/02/2014 02:10

Mama. The ring is lovely but not something I'd have, if that makes sense. Bless your dh too. I actually think that's quite sweet of him to 'feed' Artie when you were so tired. He's a sweetheart to let you sleep even if it does mean you've missed seeing Apollo. A rested mummy is better for mummy, dh and dc! I remember when I had my oldest, in the mw first home visit I was asleep after being up all night feeding. Dh very capably sorted biggest with the mw, made the mw and I a cup of tea then came and woke me up so they could do my checks.

Grandma's birthday celebrations went well. Food wasn't great but edible and we had great fun teasing grandma. Not all of it went above her head so she gave as good as she got and I've some lovely photos.

This morning, I do feel so much better, GPs are coming to collect DC at 9am and DH will pick them up after work. The boys slept amazingly well last night and managed to sing them to sleep instead of making up the cups of milk so I hope this is the start of dropping through the night feeds. I have told DH he can pop them on the boob whenever he wants if he doesn't want to wake or if I don't wake up! :)

Glad the birthday was a hit! :) xx

Morning girls xx

My daughter would think that ring is amazing, mama!

Hi, Chops! She has good taste your dd! Grin

Artie and are currently enjoying a morning at the local park. She loved being in the sling when I was on the swings. Acting like a big kid :)

Morning, Shabs xx

MultipleMama · 17/02/2014 11:16

We have a discharge time! He will be discharged at 3pm tomorrow!

Cannot pick him up today until 1pm due to Doctor's round and quiet time. We have to go back to the hospital in the morning which is pretty silly but we have to fill out more forms and get his files and meds, then they want him hooked up to monitors until he's discharged.

Excited!!! DH says he will come straight from work on Tomorrow to take us home. :) :) :) Grin

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 17/02/2014 15:39

Discharged discharged mama or discharged on home visits? I do hope it's the former. Then you can get to know him better on your own territory and hopefully Apollo will be much more settled in his home environment. Plus it will be a lots less stressful for you all with the backwards and forwards travel.

Dot baby had all her curls cut off today in a brutal haircut. She did need it, and I did tell my hairdresser to be brutal as she was sitting so beautifully for her. So now we have cropped wavy hair. Still looks cute and we're hoping her hair may thicken up now. Despite having masses, her hair is so much finer than biggest's was at the same age.

Discharged discharged as he will officially be coming home! He's coming home with a crap load of stuff and my brain is full of information that personally, half went over my head! It'll be amazing to have him home and just in time for my birthday next week! :) best early present ever!

Apollo is currently fast asleep in just a gdiaper and swaddle on DH sucking on his shoulder. For some strange and weird reason every single one of our DC have used DH's wrist, shoulder, neck and chest as a pacifier... Hmm

I daren't cut of A's curls, I love them too much! She has it trimmed but I'd cry if they ever disappear. I'm dreading the day she's old enough to know what straightners are!

Evening ladies, what wonderful news Mama, no more hiccups!
Well a lot has happened since we last met!
At 12.10am whilst in slumber (feeling poetic) I was awakened by the carbon monoxide detector in our sitting room going off. Dh got up and switched it off, we have had this happen periodically since weve had the log burner put in there. He put it back on the shelf and opened a window and it didnt go back off, see we went back to bed. At 02.10am the second detector in our airing cupboard next to my bedroom went off, boy did it. It woke all of us up and really made me jump, I tried to turn it off but it wouldnt stop. Felt panicky, 2 alarms to me meant carbon monoxide , went into kids and woke them up and opened their windows. We couldnt stop the alarm, so I called 999.Operator asked which service and I said I didnt know it was my c/m detector but we were all ok. She repeated which service and I replied the same answer, she then said she couldnt put me through to anybody unless I chose a service. So I said fire service as they install these things free of charge. Fire service answer, take my details then tell me it is nothing to do with them, I must immediately phone my gas company. Alarm now screeching for 20 mins! Phone gas comp and its an automated reply, press 1 to change my payments/press 2 to arrange a service etc.....so now feeling very panicky I press nothing and hold. A human answers, takes details, tells us to turn off main gas supply and open window in all rooms, then says they need to come out and will do so in the next 2 hours Shock So I send dh back to bed, check kids all fast asleep and I sit on the sofa with the curtains open to await engineer, dh needed to try to sleep as he was taking James down to Portsmouth at 8.30am. At 4.14am safety engineer arrives, ask me lots of questions, dh comes back down and engineer wants access to our meter. After 20 mins he cant access it enough as its in my front porch shed, so he closes us down, cuts off our gas! Tells us we must take out our tumble dryer and most of our shelving and they will send another engineer out in the morning, checks we are all ok and leaves. I eventually get back into bed at 5am but cannot sleep, thinking how lucky we were, thank god for a detector! Alarm goes off at 6.45am goes down to find dh laying table for b/fast, he then says he needs to be home when the engineers return so could I take James! 40 mins later we are all ready drive out of the estate and a British Gas van pulls up at our house. So I tell him dh is dropping us at the station and will be back in 10 mins, he says the emergency service asked him to come out to look at our appliances because we have had a c/m leak, but if we like he can leave it until tomorrow! Noooooo I say we have been disconnected, no gas, so he says he will wait. So I meet up with another lad at the station whose mum contacted me and asked if her lad cold travel with us. So at 8.30am feeling completely blitzed we set off. James was very quiet most of the way I can imagine how nervous he must have been feeling. We had to make two changes and eventually arrived in Brighton at 12.20pm where I left them after putting them on the train to Southampton, no time for long goodbyes as my own train back left in 3 mins! Felt so strange pulling out of the station leaving him there, but I didnt cry! Finally got back home at 4.30pm, exhausted! The news here was emergency services could find no fault with the appliances so are saying its coming from the wood burner. British Gas came out and reconnected us and charged up £50, they checked our loft where our flue pipe is and said we had a tile missing in the roof which could be affecting our ventilation, also said we should up date our 17 yr old boiler! So dh has asked for a quote and a home visit on Thurs, I cant believe boilers only last 16/17 years!! So that's been my day, oh also Thomas bombards me the minute I get home, his Hudl he had for Christmas is broken, it wont charge..................excuse me......."SCREAM".......
Then at 9pm James phones sounding very grown up to says its going fine........................and I wanted to bawl my eyes out........what a day! Oh yes on top of all that there was a security scare, suspect package delivered to HMS Collingwood today............where James is staying!!! Hoping for a good nights sleep! xxx

MultipleMama · 17/02/2014 23:18

Holy crap, Trips! I'm worn out just reading that! I'm so glad that you're all okay and that James got their safety and it was false suspect package!!!

Apollo has yet to settle down, put him down at 6pm and hooked him up to his SATs machine, then he woke up at 7.15pm, nursed, woke up at 8.45pm screaming refusing to latch, so DH took him 30 minutes later managed to sing and rock him to sleep, the work at 9.50pm which he fell asleep during his feed, woke up again around 11pm fed again, and it is 12.15am and he screaming his little heart out, he won't latch, in fact he doesn't want me, so once again DH has him... I would have gone to sleep but low and behold Artie woke up... along with Dieter so I'm entertaining myself online while tandem feeding!

Bring on tomorrow!! x

shabbs · 17/02/2014 23:45

oh my word Trips - piggin' 'ell!!!

MultipleMama · 17/02/2014 23:46

DH is currently singing to Dieter, Artie & Apollo. His voice is so beautiful. I just wanna capture this moment. Dieter is close to drifting off but he's not quite there yet :)

MultipleMama · 18/02/2014 17:35

As promised, a photo of Apollo :). You'll need to enter a password; which is "monkeys" to view it. Tried on here but kept getting the stupid error thing. Angry

triplets · 18/02/2014 18:39

OH Mama.........so so tiny............bless him, so amazing he has come a long way in his little life already. So very happy for you all xx

MultipleMama · 18/02/2014 21:35

Morning girls xx

Great pictures Mamma xx

triplets · 19/02/2014 08:13

Good morning girls, birds are singing, cloudy but DRY! James phoned home last night, hes really funny on the phone, all reserved and embarrassed! Didnt get much out of him, one word answers! He ha had a good day though, watched the Royal Marines band rehearsing, then get to play and march with them. Feel very proud of him :) Must say am very impressed with Tesco. One of the Hudls we bought for Christmas won`t charge. Found my till receipt an phoned the 0800 number they give, prompt answer from nice man. Explained the problem, he asked me to read out the details at the bottom of the receipt then said that was fine, and they would send a replacement out today by courier! Service!

MultipleMama · 19/02/2014 08:24

I still find it hard looking at his early pictures. I can always remember how tiny he was! He still is but he's perfect. :)

That is great service Trips! Shock
