Evening ladies. Since we're at 999 now. Was feeling reflective tonight.

He's back on low-flow, thank God, and back to his old self. We'll try again Friday and hopefully we can have him home ALL day. DH and I have decided to have huge clear out. The baby/children products are all organic fragrance free anyway, so DH and I just need to watch what we use and change what household products we use to fragrance free. We've just gone with the theory, "change everything to be on the safe side", which means we now have to put in place visiting rules. Such a PITA, but I want him home!

Hope everyone back in England, is staying safe. My friend in Barnsley says the wind is almost gale force, it's mad. It's been raining over here too.

MultipleMama · 13/02/2014 12:49

Morning ladies, morning Shabs!

The supply came this morning so now my house is full tubing! All the people who need to be notified about oxgyen in house/car have been notified. It's starting to feel scary now!

I was also given a date; on the 18th of this month, Apollo will be officially coming home!!!!

Hope you ladies have a lovely day and hope the weather isn't too awful!

MultipleMama · 13/02/2014 16:34

A told DH she wants a big bed like her brother, so DH has taken off the front bars to put it in cot bed mode. My baby is growing up, it's not fair! I don't like it. Also K has been in a foul mood all day so I'm expecting a bedtime tantrum. This should be fun Grin

MultipleMama · 13/02/2014 22:54

On the way to the way to the hospital. Apollo is unable to settle. He's been fed/changed/rocked but he isn't calming for them and has been at it for nearly 2 hours and are calling me as a last resort. I'm actually quite furious, I'm his mother I shouldn't bloody be his last resort nor should he be left for hours upset. I should have been called when their efforts did not work. Heartbreaking that my son is upset so gunna stay overnight and cuddle him loads! :)

triplets · 13/02/2014 23:10

sending him love Mama x

shabbs · 13/02/2014 23:41

My Gareth had times when he was very, very 'fussy.' He would get very hot and sweaty and then pass out. I dont know if that is the norm with babies with heart problems. I have woken up sat on the floor in the bedroom leaning on the wall - me freezing cold and Gareth still very hot but settled lying in my arms. Its a hard road but medicine has advanced beyond recognition in the last 30 odd years.

MultipleMama · 14/02/2014 01:09

Shabs, A gets pretty hot too, if he's swaddled or wrapped in a blanket or coat, he gets sweaty and flushes and feels hot but you take his temp and he's fine. Yet he hates being cold - he sleeps in a hat, mittens, socks because once those go cold he fusses.

He's happily passed out now on my chest, tried to move him to cot but he started to fuss and tense. So shuffled down on my back and I'm in the process of very slowly moving him off me to the bed so I can use the loo!

Thanks, Trips :)

Morning girls xxx

First day of college half term holidays here - Think Tom will sleep for the week. He has worked so hard since September last year.

MultipleMama · 14/02/2014 13:20

Shabs, I bet he's looking forward to sleeping all week! :)

Weather is decent enough here but still not venturingo out!

Apollo is home and napping with twins. He's been really fussy today but no problems a part from adjusting to different sounds and lights. After having it out with the staff this morning, I'll be staying over again in case his fussiness continues overnight. I don't want a repeat.

Artie looks super intrigued by her brother but tries to eat his tubing or pull it. My hands are full! :)

triplets · 15/02/2014 06:25

Morning girls, keep waking up early knowing Thomas has to be up for his paper round! Blowing a gale out there again poor kid! Whats everyone up to for half term, we have no plans except James is off to Portsmouth on Mon to spend 5 days with the Royal Marines School of Music. Should be very exciting for him. Scary thought for me that the boys may be leaving home this Sept, they are hard work but God I would miss them................ ok Thomas is up going to try to go back to sleep! xx

MultipleMama · 15/02/2014 07:40

Morning Trips, hope Thomas is staying safe out there. You're just a lovely mum getting up with him :)

Apollo was up every bloody hour last night. Constant crying and feeding, he wouldn't settle at all, everything was setting him off, finally managed to get him to sleep for a solid 2 hours at 3am only for Artie to wake him up by having a tantrum when she couldn't sit up. I am completely exhausted and I have months of this to come!

Any plans today? X

bubby64 · 15/02/2014 17:17

Hi All.
Trips, I dont envy anyone having to get up early in the recent weather.
My 2 are already in 1/2term mode, still not dressed and glued to their computers at 3pm today when DH and I got home with the shopping. I made M get dressed and come out with DH and me with the dogs, J couldnt as his foot is still sore. Returned with 3 very muddy dogs as all the fields are so saturated, so they are shut in the kitchen atm to dry off a bit.
Now finished making a Korma ready for a girlie night out round a friends house with a "bring a dish" evening. These are usually a little rowdy as there are about 8 of us who meet every 2 months or so with plenty of good homemade food and lots of wine and laughter.I dont have to drive as my teetotal friend is giving me a liftGrin

MultipleMama · 15/02/2014 21:41

DH has ordered me a new promise ring!! Isn't it gorgeous?! I have a wedding ring but I don't wear it as I'm scared of losing it!

How you have a lovely night, bubs! :) xx

triplets · 15/02/2014 21:43

Golly Bubbs can I come to the next one, sounds fun! I am already in bed,9pm and I have had enough! Just packed Thomas a large packed lunch for tomorrow, after his paper round he is going airsofting in a wood near Dover, being picked up at 8am! He just asked if he can have scrambled eggs and coffee before he goes, so guess who wont be getting a lie in tomorrow? Dd has just annoyed me, doesnt seem to take much these days, I bought a soft drink for Thomas to take tomorrow and shes taken it out of the fridge. She lied and said she hadnt and its quite plainly on her shelf. We just cant seem to get on, if I show any interest in her work etc she barely answers me, never ever sits with us downstairs, her diet is awful, I made Chinese tonight, all homemade, she wasted it. She wont eat traditional English food, her idea of hell is a roast dinner. She is I suppose going through another "stage" but I am finding it stressful. Imagine if had had three girls!!!

triplets · 15/02/2014 21:45

Shock Mama..................gorgeous isn`t the word I would use .......Shock its scary..............very scary...........now a nice sparkly diamond.....

MultipleMama · 15/02/2014 22:29

Really? I love it! But then again I'm weird... even my wedding ring is black but it does have pink sapphires! Grin

I should be sleeping as the A-team are sleeping-ish (Apollo is making noises and moving a little too much for a sleeping baby!) but I'm gunna proof read a few screen writes for some extra cash.

Bubs, can I come too?! I miss having girls to natter with, and I miss gossip! Haha.

MultipleMama · 16/02/2014 07:50

I don't have to cook, today! Heading round to MiL for dinner and for lunch is sandwhiches! :)

triplets · 16/02/2014 07:56

Morning, awake early as usual. Thomas is charging around, done his paper round and off air softing in 10 mins! Weather looks promising, blue sky and calm :) Half term and no plans apart from James going off tomorrow. Mama.....not weird just different! :o

shabbs · 16/02/2014 09:06

Morning girls xx

Lew stayed overnight - and woke up at 5.30am - anybody got any matchsticks so I can keep my eyes open?

MultipleMama · 16/02/2014 09:18

DH, FiL & BiL have taken all 6 (my 4 & BiL's 2 ds') swimming for the morning and then are taking them to a playground. Good luck to them! Me and Artie are going back to bed once she's nursed for a lovely lie in! :)

Hope Thomas has fun today! And James tomorrow! :)

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 16/02/2014 10:05

. Envious of you mama. Dh is working this weekend. Today my grandma is 94 years old. We are off out as a family to celebrate with her. Should be the usual amount if chaos with my 4, my sister's 3. My parents, an aunt and grandma. Pass the loudhailer!

That nap was lovely! I feel well rested. Called SCBU and Apollo has been quiet all day as he's hardly been disturbed except for feeds and changes. Will heading up tonight to stay as he's being discharge until Tuesday afternoon.

I'm ready for that Sunday dinner!
