Morning ladies.

Mama, that's just nuts! Is there nothing at all closer? How old is she as I'd recommend seeing if the guiding movement is in your area but they start around 5 for rainbows.

Barking!

MultipleMama · 04/02/2014 09:59

Yeah thought so. Woke up this morning and was "yeah that's not gunna happen". I think it was just the idea of finding a class for her age group after her turning down everything else. Completely insane. There's nothing close that she wants to do. There is a gymnastic club which would benefit her if she still wants to do ballet but that's more expensive and you pay for a term not by hour. We'll just keeping looking, never realised what a PITA it would be!

Time for my morning nap with Artie and Apollo :)

MultipleMama · 04/02/2014 10:00

She'll be 3 in April :)

Yeah, I know but boredom has driven me to the most ridiculous ideas and notions!

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 04/02/2014 10:19

Woo hoo! Despite ongoing issues, work have today out an immense (but still not what it should be) amount of money in my bank account. So I've celebrated by purchasing a steam cleaner. Living the highlife!

Mama glad your move went well. I had a scan and appointment yesterday and am still baffled and highly amused that at 21 wks the consultant thought the topic of conversation should be about contraception????? I have no idea how she new that was soooooo high on my priority list right now Hmm

MultipleMama · 04/02/2014 12:42

Glad you have some great news, Sok!

bubby64 · 04/02/2014 14:44

Slightly- 21wks and carrying twins, Yep, you should really be concerned about birth control atm,Grin Grin What planet is the consultant from, mind you, she hasn't met Mama!

MultipleMama · 04/02/2014 15:35

Bubby, you do make me chuckle! :) We've decided to wait until the school year to decided because I'm fed up of looking and her throwing a tantrum haha. Birth control? I have no idea what that word means Grin Breastfeeding was also a crappy birth control for us, even though I was doing everything to make it effective!

Slightly, At 21 weeks the only thing I was thinking of was food and sleeping! Hope your scan went well :)

Hope you lovely ladies are well :)

MultipleMama · 04/02/2014 15:48

Also forgot to add, we received a letter this morning asking us if we'd like to attend the opening day of one of the schools we applied the DC to. Quite excited :)

triplets · 04/02/2014 22:45

Throat no better, such a pita , almost a week now. Its really starting to blow a hoolie out there, I know hes 16 now but every night I pray it wont rain for Thomas when he does his paper round, I can see him going down the road with his bag in the dark and I want to go out and help him...............see I am a good mother really :o

bubby64 · 04/02/2014 23:52

Completly lost it with the boys this afternoonSad They are making a model for school using papiermache (sp), I had told them to go in the (new) conservatory, which has tiled floors, and use the pasting table to put the boards on. I came home to them using the oak dining-room table, with no covering on it, throwing the mix at each other, and pva glue/water mix dripping on to my new carpet!I had only just got the room sorted after the fire damageAngry. I went ballistic, screaming and shouting at the,m I completely lost control. Blush. I said to DH he could sort their tea, whilst they washed everything down and used hot soapy water to clean the carpet, and I went early to my choir practice, just to get away from them.

MultipleMama · 05/02/2014 00:44

I would have gone balistic at them too! I hope they managed to get the glue out of the carpet! That stuff is a pain to get off when dry.

I went for a run with the dog when kids were in bed because I needed some fresh. I think I'm quite fit; I play hockey, walk almost everywhere and I like mountain biking. Yeah, ran around the block once and almost collapsed trying to catch my breath while dog just sat there and had this look in his eyes that was mocking me. Well, that threw my fitness level out the window. Told DH and evil man laughed!

I need sleep. Apollo has a sleep study tomorrow along and ECG and Echo.

morning girls xx

Chopstheduck · 05/02/2014 07:36

hmm typed a post and it disappeared.

lol, mama! You prob need to build it up gradually, even if you are quite fit doing other things. It took me a few months to get to running a 5k.

I have a cold :( Feel like shite, burning throat. Always seem to get a cold in Feb for some reason!

Bubby, I would have been furious too, hope it cleaned up ok :(

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 05/02/2014 08:00

Morning!

Bubs I would have done the same. Hope they're repentant and the carpet survived.

Our bigger is the best contraception anyone could wish for. I can loan him out for free for ooooooh a month or three mama ;)

Chops, I have learnt my lesson. Gunna ask to borrow SiL's jogger for Artie so I can build up and if I don't want to continue I can just give it her back haha :)

Sok, I couldn't possibly borrow your lovely boy, I would probably want to keep him Grin.

MultipleMama · 05/02/2014 23:13

Just heard about the weather reports in UK. Hope you're all okay and aren't in the warning areas!

Apollo has been one miserable, cranky baby boy today, I think it's due to the shot they gave him this morning :(

shabbs · 06/02/2014 07:51

Morning girls xx

Just lots of rain, grey skies and very windy here......in other words a typical day in Lancashire!!

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 06/02/2014 08:07

Morning ladies. Grey day here today, and windy. River is raised but not near enough to flood us so no worries there.

Picked up dh's new car yesterday (new to us). So he's happy but gutted I got to drive it first. And he's home feeling sorry for himself today. I know he is genuinely ill as he's been plodding in to work for days and last night when he was umming and ahhing about going in and coming home at lunch time, I ordered him to stay home instead and rest. And he didn't argue! So he's currently tucked up on the sofa while James reads Thomas to him!

Evening ladies..........thinking of my lovely Mum today on her birthday, I miss her very much..............
Its lashing it down here, has been since 11am, no sign of it clearing and my poor ds has to be out at 6.30am to do his paper round. Throat is at long last getting better, it really was painful. Need some sun now to cheer us all up..................some hope!

MultipleMama · 06/02/2014 22:23

Literally slept the day away Blush DH called the unit to speak to me and asked why I hadn't picked up the DC from his mum's and why wasn't I answering the phone. Turns out I fell asleep in Apollo's room while he and Artie were passed out in the cot. - For 4 hours! The nurse had to wake me up Blush Didn't leave the hospital until 4pm, DH picked up the DC after work for me. I got in, made dinner and then passed out with Artie again. Only just woke up, DH fed Artie with the cup for me. Now, I can't fall back asleep...

Oh and Apollo is on low flow!!!
