Morning girls xx

Happy Birthday to your beloved Trips Grin

Mamma - stick to your guns.

MultipleMama · 17/01/2014 18:37

Artie is a proper water baby. She seems to really love it. She loves floating on her back. Never known her so calm! She hates baths though...

Missing DH like mad! The skype Chats aren't enough. I just wanna hug him and snuggle him while reading our books :(

Mama - Glad you stuck to your guns, and happy Artie loves swimming, my 2 were at their calmest in water, and still love it.
Trips - Happy birthday to your not quite so darling hubby. Neighbour was lovely bringing you the pie, and hope your (d?)d doesn't kick up too much stink over the posters. Blush I want to see the railway man, but in 2 minds, as my unvle was onebof the "builders", and he suffered all his life from the treatment he recieved at the hands of the Japanese. We saw The Hunger Games -Catching Fire last week, much closer representation of the book, very good film if you like the books.
Soks - glad you had a nice break, you deserve it.
With DBinLs help, we finally got rid of the last of the burned/melted rubbish in our garden all around and inside the conservatory completely, and got the foundation of DHs shed set out, so, hopefully we can finish putting it together tomorrow. Boys have cleared Js room enough to allow the window fitters in there, the dinning room, bathroom and our bedroom is cleared so they can get to those windows. Now just waiting for them to arrive on Wednesday to get everything finally done. Can't wait to have my lovely new conservatory and windows, and no more water dripping down from melted guttering. Grin Grin If all goes well, they should finish the whole job by the next Tuesday.
Hi Shabs and Chops, hope you are having a good weekendSmile

bubby64 · 18/01/2014 20:24

Oh,and Hi Ruby, nice to see you Grin Grin Grin

MultipleMama · 18/01/2014 22:46

Hey ladies.

I'm glad I stuck to my guns, his fever went down after an increase in his morphine (something to do with his tube??). He's healing so well and they say I can have my first hold on Wednesday! I can officially say I am over my sad spout and that I know enjoy holding his hand and talking to him until I'm blue in the face.

There's this nurse on the ward and he always tickles Artie as he walks by (she's usually in bouncer or on play mat) and she just stares at him almost like that baby whos scared of sneezes. It's bloody hilarious. She now makes serious eye contact and constantly rolls over. Today, I put her down change Apollo, I then hear her starting to stress, I look down and she had literally rolled off the mat and got stuck with her head and leg stuck under the chair!

Glad you have everything almost sorted, Bubs!! :)

MultipleMama · 18/01/2014 23:16

People always ask how identical the boys are so I've uploaded a picture, it's only up for a couple of days so it's there if you want to see them :)

bubby64 · 19/01/2014 18:23

Hi . Spent the day helping DH put together his new shed (mind you, its more like a garage, its so big!)
It has been like playing with a giant meccano set, as its metal frame with plastic inserts. M helped as well, while J was moving his bedroom furniture around to get it away from the window. Between this, I cooked a full beef roast, as we had a joint left over in the freezer from Christmas. After we finished eating, I left half the joint on the side in the kitchen, wrapped in foil, and DH forgot, and shut the dogs in the kitchen, hey presto, 3 very fat and satisfied dogs and tin foil all over the kitchen floorConfused

MultipleMama · 19/01/2014 18:47

Sounds like fun, Bubs!

Artie was signed off from the Pulmonolgist this morning, so no more appointments for her for awhile.

I've seen everything I can in Berlin and I am bored. I'm so thankful for my family who have been sending me stuff to put in the parent's room or I'd be sick of these four walls too.

A new baby, came onto the ward this morning, she was born with her intestines (?) outside of her body. The mum is no where to been seen, I hope she's okay.

bubby64 · 19/01/2014 20:59

She would have had a C section Mama, probebly still recovering.

bubby64 · 19/01/2014 21:02

Boys are lovely MamaGrin

MultipleMama · 19/01/2014 22:00

Thanks bubs. I think so too Wink but I'm biased.

I never thought about that, still hope she's okay.

Hey ladies.

A calm, relaxed today. Apollo came off the ventilator and is now on CPAP. They have also hinted that if he continues to improve as he is doing, they will think about moving him from the incubator to a hot cot. :)

thegirlinthesassyspace · 21/01/2014 07:36

Hi there I thought I would come and say hello and say hope you all had a good new year. Its been so long since my first messages to the d'ya ever thread and thanks for the reassurance back then. Our babies are now 14 months!!are any of yours that age? I am back at work and we are fairly calm in our houuse ! Touch wood. How is everyone? Do any of you have fog where you are today? Missed my train due to it as kept driving past the turning as couldn't see a thing. It waslike something out of the twilight zone! Xxx

Morning ladies. Hello Sassy. Mine are 21 months. So not far ahead. Busy bees though.

Mama. Glad Apollo is doing well again. And well done on standing your ground re the lumbar puncture. Bigger had one when he was seven weeks old (viral meningitis). Their description of what they had to do made me glad I wasn't allowed to be there (they said it would be too distressing).

Big and dot baby crease me up at the moment. Dot baby loved the swimming pool while away so am tracking down suitable baby swim group. She loved jumping up and down in the water, and terrified us attempting to throw herself off the ledge into the pool.

Hello, Sassy. Mine just turned 16 months are crazy active toddlers! :) I'm in Germany so no fog! :)

Sok, sounds like you had a brill time. I think she'd love the swimming groups. Must be easier on their muscles too :)

MultipleMama · 21/01/2014 19:36

So the doctors were saying today not to me, I just heard Apollo's name and started eaewigging. No shame. They were discussing his lung and blah blah blah, anyway... they are in talks of starting up bf again! :) all hush hush mind.
