I'm very jealous ruby. Tbh I'm very jealous of all of you who aren't stuck at home Grin

Currently waiting for dh to wake up despite repeated proddings, letting the dc jump all over him (I was 'conveniently out of the room' so couldn't stop them) and generally being as noisy as possible. We are supposed to be taking the dc to the sealife centre and arcades today.

triplets · 30/07/2013 14:18

Oh Rubes..........that is such a lovely drive, did you stop at Hearst Castle, that's an amazing place. Where is your next stop?
We are stuck here too, cannot find a late deal that's worth having. We are on standby for a cruise with P&O Frid, they will phone tomorrow or Thurs...............not feeling very hopeful. Weather here awful today, drizzle...............wonder what ooogs is up to in my home town??

shabbatheGreek · 30/07/2013 18:18

hiya everybody sun is shinning and temperatures are high, got to fifty degrees today. sadly my nieces little girl passed away yesterday. beth was born with wolf hershornes syndrome - think that's incorrectly spelt. needless to say my niece is heartbroken. xx

MultipleMama · 30/07/2013 19:14

Shabs - I think it's spelt wolf hirschhorn syndrome. That's awful news, cannot imagine how your niece is. My condolences. Xx

I've seen way too many houses and dealt with as much unsettled twins as I can. So glad to be home and have them settled... only to do it all again at the end of the year! Seen a lovely house we're in talks to lower rent for first couple of months due to work the bedroom/kitchen needs doing. Also has option to buy or a new lease when our 2 years is up. I'm in love.

How's everyone? Hope you're enjoying your holidays!

oooggs · 30/07/2013 19:21

Having trouble with the leg, combination of heat and doing too much > Its become very swollen and now the skin has blistered and i'm leaking fluid from it all the timeSad . trying to keep it up at work, but its very hard, dreading walking all around Alton Towers next week if its still like this. Sad Never mind, I'm sure I'll cope.

MultipleMama · 31/07/2013 13:02

Bubby - Hope you're able to rest your leg before Alton Towers!

I'm very jealous of very one on holiday! Trade me places!

As much as I love the free time I have with all four kids. It's complete chaos without routine. I'm running out of play ideas!

triplets · 31/07/2013 23:28

Spookily quiet...........glad everyone is away having exciting hols..........but like Mama I am very Envy

So my day has been dead exciting............spent almost 3 hours on the phone to my best friend in Cornwall, our fortnightly catch up session......tidied up, made lunch, then went shopping for clothes incase we find a holiday. James did well, Becca did well, dh did very well and I got nowt! Hate clothes shopping, won`t try things on in shops, get very depressed when they never seem to have my size and feel guilty if I do buy for myself when usually the kids need something. M&S was awful, a sea of black/grey beige winter clothes............already and its the 1st Aug tomorrow.......................crazy. Went round in circles trying to get James a pair of shorts, childrens sizes too small but mens too big...........hate it! Any ideas for teenage boys clothes please? 28" waist! I need something to wear to a wedding on the 28th, nothing decent left in the shops.............feeling like Cinderella!!

Charleymouse · 31/07/2013 23:36

Happy Awesome Birthday Chops :)

Are you doing Disney?

Scorching hot here already, going to be over 30 degrees :)

triplets · 01/08/2013 07:42

Tried all those Rubester, trouble is all the stores are full of Autumn stock, so ridiculous, they do it earlier and earlier each year.

Charleymouse · 01/08/2013 11:35

Hi Trips, sorry dropped asleep last night,
Hi Rubyrubyruby
Happy birthday Chops!

I feel your pain Trips I have a wedding to go to on the 17th and have nothing to wear yet.

It bugs me we are supposed to buy shoes for the kids three months before they need them, summer sandals are in stock in February - none in June, now shoe shops are stocking winter boots FFS. I want to buy shoes that fit at the time they are going to be wearing them, not three months in advance! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

MultipleMama · 01/08/2013 12:29

Hello, sweethearts!

Hi, charleymouse!

And why does no place sell decent school shoes that aren't expensive! Trying to find some good shoes for the twins as they're forever walking and wanting outside.

Hi chops, shabs & ruby!

Trips - Have you tried Topman, Next and Burtons and New Look mens? X

MultipleMama · 01/08/2013 20:40

Oh, and Happy Birthday, Chops! Such baby brain today!

Can I just say that my bump looks cute today... decorated in glitter, paint and hand prints. Damn red paint stains... Even the twins got involved. And the little ones in my tummy were very active. Today has been fun.

bubby64 · 01/08/2013 21:33

Hi Trips - I have hone on-line for my stuff, try Simply B, they eere good for me. As for the shorts, have you tried BHS, they had a good range of teenage noys stuff there last month, it may still be in.
Mama - love the picture in my head of your bumpGrin I agree about the shoes, I tend to leave it until the ladt couple of weeks before school starts and go to the Clarkes outlet shop at Clacton.usually manage to get the boys their shoes there.
Hi Charliemouse, how are you?
Chops and Ruby - glad you are having a wonderful yime, but still very Envy Envy Envy Envy, Oh, and Happy Birthday Chops Wink
Shabs - I hope those tassels are swinging with avenganceGrin Grin Grin
Soks - you ok out there??

Having trouble with our nasty neighbours again, the ones who hurt Bertie, We came home yesterday to find they had leaned into our garden and chopped our hedge down by 3 ft, damaging our fence whilst doing it, and strewn our garden full of the debris, its a real messAngry Angry . We spoke and sent photos to the council (they are tenants), and the housing officer said it was a clear case of criminal damage, phone the police, the police said it was a civil matter, speak to the council, and we are left piggy in the middle with a huge mess to clear up and nothing can be done to stop it happening againSad Sad . We just don't want to go in the garden anymore.
Dreading going away as scared as to what we will come home to.

MultipleMama · 01/08/2013 23:58

They sound like nasty pieces
