Name change appropriate for how I feel as well as halloween!
Hi Cigertick - you dont have to offer advice on our problematic teens to jump in, we talk to anyone about anything!!
Keep going to the GP if they are continuing to be unwell, and, if you feel things are not improving, as to be re-referred back to your paediatrician or, if your little ones are still under his/her care, ask for a urgent review. Sometimes you have to jump up and down and make a fuss to get things sorted. I used to do this, and my GP soon learned I would not be fobbed off as far as my DC's health was concerned, wanted shot of me more likely
and would refer me on when they had recurrent problems
Shabs - 1/2 term next week hereabouts - very late this year, the kids are all knackered already!!I am a fool to myself, and have agreed to have mu neighbours kids all week as she acannot get time off from work, I will have an extra 3 bodies from 8am-3pm every day I must have been mad to agree, but she caught me on the hop when she asked, and I said yes without really thinking it through!
Trips Glad you enjoyed your night outSmile

ZombieB64 · 22/10/2012 20:46

56 flu jabs done, 94 still to go! I feel like lining them all up against a wall and throwing the syringes like darts!! Plenty of compliments on how they didn't feel the injection though,>
Oh, and I have won an auction on EBay for M's electronic drum kit too, £68 including a stool,(or drum 'throne' to give its proper name Confused).
So that's both birthday gifts sorted and still 5 weeks to go!, must start looking at Christmas gifts now!

Can you please stop all this name changing, takes me ages to work it out! Had a visit from my niece with baby Jacob today, she came to ask a favour. Could I have Jacob for an hour on Frid as she wants to go for a singing lesson, don`t mind at all as long as its not every week.......it would not go down well with dk and Frids are a nightmare with ATC night. Poor Becs had 2 teeth out at 4pm today, the start of her 2 yr dental treatment, she is not a happy bunny! Going to e-mail the head of school after I have done this, air my views! All very very worrying, its really going to affect my children at a very critical time. Not half term here Shabs, as you are always up an about so early.............ever thought of doing a paper round?

shabbatheGreek · 23/10/2012 06:42

Morning girls xx

LOL @ paper round!!

triplets · 23/10/2012 22:23

It was just a thought Shabs................er where is everybody? I come on here for company don`t you know, been a very silent day here today as I am not talking to dk, he really really peed me orf this morning so I went to town two hours early. I walked too, its a 40 min walk along the seafront, thick fog, muttering obscenities...................times like this I miss Mum, I would always phone her up knowing she would cuss as well as me and back me up:o Feeling very fat atm, some days I feel slim, then others I feel fat, but guess what? Went into my local M&Co store this morning (fashion) and one of the girls rushed up to me and asked me if I would model for them at a charity fashion show in aid of Cancer Research Shock I declined, I would die if anyone saw what was lurking underneath Blush

shabbatheGreek · 23/10/2012 23:18

Oh Trips - you should do it - I double dog dare you!! That would be great xxx

Sokmonsta · 24/10/2012 02:13

Morning! Catching up here after going to bed at 730pm with a shitty headache. Woke up at half 11 and been awake since. Bloody pnd.

Trips that is crap about school changing at such a critical time for you. I know there's never a good time but there must have been some leeway to ensure the kids/staff don't get royally screwed. Reminded me of our parents induction for dd's reception. All these parents harping on about which secondary we feed into and going 'oh we don't want X as they're really poor atm, we want Y' not realising that school has also just failed its ofsted and is also in special measures.....

Joshua (dts) is on his second lot of antib's in just over a week. The cough I originally took him to gp for, and left with antib's for ear infection, has finally turned into a chest infection. Poor baby sounds like he's trying to cough a lung up.

Jennifer (dtd) is apparently a lazy so and so. She's only 6.5 months (5.5 corrected) and with Joshua leaping ahead in the movement stakes - been rolling over for a month or so, now rolls around like a flipping eel - only serves to worry me that she's not bothered with the whole rolling/moving thing, hates tummy time and just headbutts the floor, barely lifts her face off it. Stupid I know as she pushes her feet against the bars of the cot to turn given the space. Someone please tell me I'm being neurotic and she is perfectly normal. You'd think I'd know seeing as these are %233&4 but its been new territory each time (girl, boy, vaguely prem twins). Dh insists we could have more children so I am threatening him with triplets if that does ever happen (long and boring story about how we seem to outdo each previous pregnancy).

Best attempt some sleep I guess or I'll suffer later when ds1 wants to scream in my ear. Hoping next week (half term here) he'll finally succumb to the chicken pox going round preschool. He and Dd1 have Escaped every opportunity over the last 4 and a bit years so not optimistic. Just want it out of the way really. Hmm

Morning!

I'm off to read thread properly with my morning cuppa. Just sat down in our living room and noticed a spider the size of a small mouse looking at me from the middle of the floor!

Back later...

Chopstheduck · 24/10/2012 07:58

Morning girls x

Oh trips, you should have grabbed it! Would have been fun!

Sokmonster, long time since mine were that small, but I think she is still very little. My dts were quite fast developing, but they didn't crawl until 7.5 months and they weren't prem. I think wiht dts it is easy to compare them and get worried, but I wouldn't be worrying for that.

Rav is terrified of 'piders' , l love winding him up wiht them Grin

Chopstheduck · 24/10/2012 16:34

Afternoon girls.

I have a rare evening home alone tonight! DH has taken Ravi off to the Arsenal game - keep a look out for him on the telly - he is going to be a mascot tonight! Grin

Look out for the skinny, (and prob one the tallest there) indian kid, dark cropped air and dark eyes!

triplets · 24/10/2012 22:21

Wow that must be one excited boy...................awwwww :)
Dont know whats up with me lately, feel low, fed up etc. Feel as though I need a treat..........would love a proper holiday, not just a break, just pack a bag, no selfcatering where I take the kitchen sink, where I could relax, laugh..........find abit of the old me again.............funny once you lose your parents, it launches you to a place you dont want to be. A scary place..................

triplets · 24/10/2012 22:22

[hgrin] just wanted to be the first!

Chopstheduck · 24/10/2012 22:24

He was thrilled! Saw him on telly, he looked so excited! Terre is a pic on Facebook.

I'm not surprised you want to get way from it all, holiday sounds good though, can I join you? Grin

Chopstheduck · 24/10/2012 22:25

Ooh [henvy] - elphaba!

triplets · 24/10/2012 22:34

Now thats a brill idea Chops, a multiple vacation, where shall we go?

Chopstheduck · 24/10/2012 22:39

triplets · 24/10/2012 23:13

Chopstheduck · 24/10/2012 23:35

Now then , we all need to check our passports are up to date and don`t forget our Estas for the States. The BELLAGIO is Fab, been in there, very pretty ceiling! I lurveeeeee American food, because there is such a vast choice, always shocks me though how expensive the wine is seeing as they grow so much of it!

Chopstheduck · 25/10/2012 09:18

passprt - check
esta - check

now flights, business or first class?

Chopstheduck · 25/10/2012 09:26

oh and I do love american breakfasts - Denny's is my most favourite place ever! I often recreate stuff from their menus at weekends - huge burritos full of egg, avocado, bacon etc.

shabbatheGreek · 25/10/2012 09:31

We have to renew all 3 of our passports for next year........Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
