Morning! Catching up here after going to bed at 730pm with a shitty headache. Woke up at half 11 and been awake since. Bloody pnd.
Trips that is crap about school changing at such a critical time for you. I know there's never a good time but there must have been some leeway to ensure the kids/staff don't get royally screwed. Reminded me of our parents induction for dd's reception. All these parents harping on about which secondary we feed into and going 'oh we don't want X as they're really poor atm, we want Y' not realising that school has also just failed its ofsted and is also in special measures.....
Joshua (dts) is on his second lot of antib's in just over a week. The cough I originally took him to gp for, and left with antib's for ear infection, has finally turned into a chest infection. Poor baby sounds like he's trying to cough a lung up.
Jennifer (dtd) is apparently a lazy so and so. She's only 6.5 months (5.5 corrected) and with Joshua leaping ahead in the movement stakes - been rolling over for a month or so, now rolls around like a flipping eel - only serves to worry me that she's not bothered with the whole rolling/moving thing, hates tummy time and just headbutts the floor, barely lifts her face off it. Stupid I know as she pushes her feet against the bars of the cot to turn given the space. Someone please tell me I'm being neurotic and she is perfectly normal. You'd think I'd know seeing as these are %233&4 but its been new territory each time (girl, boy, vaguely prem twins). Dh insists we could have more children so I am threatening him with triplets if that does ever happen (long and boring story about how we seem to outdo each previous pregnancy).
Best attempt some sleep I guess or I'll suffer later when ds1 wants to scream in my ear. Hoping next week (half term here) he'll finally succumb to the chicken pox going round preschool. He and Dd1 have Escaped every opportunity over the last 4 and a bit years so not optimistic. Just want it out of the way really.
