Morning. Baby wipes seem to have worked. Very contrite M this morning, now upstairs tidying room without complaint. J, on the other hand, has become Mr Hyde, and after hurling verbal abuse at me all morning for banning him from computer, Xbox, tv and phone until homework done and room tidy, is currently laying on his bed swearing and staring at ceilingSad. Mind you, to even make a small impression to the mess that is his room will take him hours!!
Soks - she will be ok for a few hours with DH, and if you take a phone, you can always warn other Hens they might have to make alternative tarrangements to get home if he rings and you have to leave early, I'm sure they will understand.
Shabs & Trips, can we make it a 3 way hug :-(

Ruby, yes it was annoying, but at least we will get to see them in February and the seats are the same ones, so hopefully we will have the same group of people around us at least. There were lots of very drunk folk there and I was glad none of them were near us tbh!

Bubby, here's hoping your carpet has now fully recovered from the mess Shock.

Sok, poor you with the chicken pox to deal with, my dts haven't had it but the other three have and it was terrible. Ds1 had infected pox and ds2 still has a scar on his forehead where one burst green goo all down his face . At least once it's gone it's gone and you can relax a bit.

Dh is making tapas for lunch and the kitchen smells gorgeous . We are going to download a film in a bit I think, it is far too miserable to bother being outside today.

Sokmonsta · 17/11/2012 16:01

Just a quick update. Thankfully they're not infected. Although out of hours sent us to the hospital for their Opinion. It's just they are so close together it's hard to tell whether the redness was normal or extended. The pus apparently is normal. Yuk. And of course Jen had managed to wriggle and pop them before we got there Hmm.

Anyhoo, come away with canesten for her poor bottom and advised to continue with ibuprofen and calpol. Have to take her back if no better by day 10 as she is still having new spots come up (more came up between arriving at hospital and being seen!).

Am still going out tonight as I know dh is more than capable. He's worried about her too so won't let her suffer unnecessarily. He's just said he'll phone me if needed but as he also has a friend over, he can go out and leave friend with the others.

Hope by now you are having an nice time Socky........such a worrying time when your dcs are poorly. Touch wood mine keep pretty well, never been ones for sicky bugs and rarely get a cold. I could always do with a hug, been plenty of the usual stress here today. I dont know what it is in this house but supper time is always the worst. Dy think I`d make a good barmaid Shabs, need an evening job!!

triplets · 17/11/2012 22:17

Having one of those days when I am pretty fed up with my life, things have got to change, feel used and unloved except for my boys :(

Sokmonsta · 18/11/2012 20:56

Evening. . Malteasers aren't open yet but will fling some your way when they are.

Soooooooooo tired. Got in just after 1am. Woken up at 4am. Running on empty/bacon sandwiches & macdonalds today. Jen still poorly but peaks and troughs - can literally see calpol take effect and wearing off. She's refusing solids and fussing with bottles.

Hope a lovey day was had by all, free from teenage angst and sudocrem.

triplets · 18/11/2012 23:11

why am I feeling soooooooooo low? Someone pass me the Maltesers please?
Hope Jennifer soon picks up xx

MummyPig24 · 19/11/2012 07:00

Hi again. I wish I had cake to share, or wine, alas I have neither! Would love twins, its amazing! So special. Me and dp were discussing the possibility of dc3 and he said he would love twins. Must be incredibly hard work though. I kissed goodbye to sleep, sanity and dignity long ago!

Morning girls.

The farm was AMAZING! The guys that run it are so friendly and welcoming, we felt more like family members than customers! It was such a brilliant experience for the kids - they got a real taste of farm life, were involved in everything from feeding the animals, turning the ponies out, hosing them down and a bit of grooming, ride through the woods, dd even helped drench a sick ewe and dt1 retrieved a rat trap complete with the biggest rat I have ever seen!

Will def be going back again, and can't recommend it highly enough!

Now rushing around catching up on jobs, laundry, etc before off out 2n to Rihanna's London 777 gig!

shabbatheGreek · 19/11/2012 11:06

Ohhhh our Lew would be so very jealous of you going to see her!! He lovvvvvves her!!

Sokmonsta · 19/11/2012 16:32

don't eat them all before I come back Grin

bubby64 · 19/11/2012 18:45

Hi all. Hade mr Hyde James all weekend, he has got yet another detention (number3) for not giving in homework, and has been told if he gets a 4th he will be in isolation for the day Sad
Got in such a tantrum yesterday I developed an almighty migraine, and ended up having to take the morning off work.
Also gutted as I won the Mnet competition for a VIP trip to see the gypsy queens next Tuesday, and now DH can't get the afternoon/evening off work, and I can't leave work early enough either, so I have had to pass it on to the next winner SadSad

Got a 'snotty' email from school attendance officer yesterday - telling me about the importance of Tom not missing any more school....Oh I didn't realise how important it was - silly me!!! [anger]

I emailed them back (it was a long email) telling them that because my lad is a good lad who works hard he already has 3 GCSE's that he sat LAST year. Telling them how lucky they are to have him at the bloody dump of a school.

He almost had a meltdown this morning. He cant get his shoes on over his nail dressing - so I gave him his trainers and packed him off. Sent a note and just rang the headmaster telling him that Tom has to wear his trainers and IF there is any problem at all he will not like dealing with me in the mood I am in. He was 'sheepish' to say the least.

Fookin' school drives me mad Angry

bubby64 · 20/11/2012 09:25

Oh Shabs - I'm he will be ok in trainers, he's there isnt he?? If they send him home, refer the head to the attendence email....
Soks- sorry I didnt say that Im glad Jennifer didnt have an infection, I was wrapped in my own misery (again!) yesterday.
Trips- I know, really gutted, but thats how the cookie crumbles.
Chops- it sounds as if you had a great time!
Mummy - I love my boys dearly (even if I dont like them very much sometimes!) and we have met the challenges head on, but I wouldnt be without them. Multiples are a gift sent to show you you can cope with almost anything!!
