I have been once myself, took my Mum and Dad with Matthew back in the early 90s. Dk treated us to tea at Bettys, one slice and 5 forks[hgrin]

Forgot to ask, dd has a broken phone and a broken ipod, Christmas is coming and I am getting fat, please put a penny.....................now where was I? If I have a £100 to spend on her main present can I get something that would do both..................I am not very geeky[hconfused]

Chopstheduck · 28/10/2012 07:35

hmm, trips, I would probably look at blackberry curves, which seem to be the must have phones for all teens, and she would be able to put music on that. I think they may start at slightly over £100 though.

As ours are getting older, and wanting all these gadgets they have to save to contribute towards the cost of them. I was quite proud of ds1 last weekend, he had finally saved enough to buy himself a little laptop. Dd tends to spend a fortune on shoes and clothes instead though!

Morning girls xx

triplets · 28/10/2012 09:04

Goodmorning girls, the sun is shining through my bedroom window and the wind has dropped off [hsmile] Just had a cup of tea brought up to me by dk, so because of that today he can be dh [hgrin]
Chops mine would be saving forever, they only get £5 a week pocket money, which now that they are teens and are out and about doesnt go anywhere. Mum used to give them extra, but sadly shes not here Sad
If she doesnt get a phone/ipod I might look for a keyboard for her, she has a big old one my brother gave her and she has taught herself to play it and read music, shes actually very good. James is easy this Christmas, his main pesent is going to be a bugle as he wants to join the RM School of Music! Thomas I havent a clue, hes not into music, clothes, only x box and hes got enough of that sort of stuff! We are off to Suffolk on Thurs for three nights with Harrys niece and family, 11 of us going so should have abit of a laugh.

triplets · 29/10/2012 00:01

Hi........dd gets a phone call to ask her if she wants to go roller skating at Sandwich. An hour later she is still in her bed, I knock on her door to ask her nicely if she is going, if so what time? I am greeted with "OMG I told you! At 11.15am she surfaces, goes downstairs and grabs a bowl of cereal, dh walks in and she says..............."oh yeh can you take me to Alices we are going skating". He says yes. At 11.35am she runs upstairs and gets ready, avoiding the bathroom and toothbrush. Comes down, asks for more money and then looks at the clock and throws hysterics as she is supposed to be at Alices at 11.30am so its all our fault she`s late! Off they go. 40mins later dh returns, a trifle angry. When she said could he take her to Alices, she ommitted to say Alice was at her Grandmas, 10 miles away! I lurveeeeeeeeee Sundays:o

morning girls.

I think I got about four hours sleep! early night tonight i think.

Sokmonsta · 29/10/2012 20:10

Evening ladies. Thanks for the reassurances about Jen. I know deep down I've worried unnecessarily (she's my smallest ever baby) and we have progress Jen rolled today. Was so pleased I watched her flail on the floor like a fish out of water before scooping her up for cuddles. Grin

Joshua has finished his antib's and seemed no better, but have been told his chest is clear so good news there. Just have to persevere with his inhaler and see if it makes a difference. Back at drs with him Friday so they can check him over again.

At drs myself Friday as well. First appt since being given ads. Am permanently shattered at the mo with early wakings, to the point where it's affecting dh. He knows I can't help it but he's finding it hard. Just need to stay asleep so I'm not falling asleep early evening. Meh. It'll comeHmm

Oh, and half term here this week. No sign of the pox yet. Maybe the tough first year has given James a cast iron constitution??

triplets · 30/10/2012 00:22

I promised myself an early night too, not relaxed enough to sleep. A fraught day, kids and visitors, yes Shabs, the Wiganites turned up right on tea time! Sokmonster, everything is fine. My trio were born at 32 weeks, dd was 4.1oz, ds was 4.7oz and ds was only 2.15oz! Thomas (4.1oz) was the first to do everything, sit up, crawl, cut teeth, talk and walk and get out of nappies. Then roughly three months later Rebecca would walk talk etc..........then there was James (2.15oz) he was months behind. Thomas started pre school once he was dry in the Sept. Becca cracked it in the Dec so she joined Thomas at pre school in the Jan. By April James was still in nappies, turned three!!! Pre school agreed he could go in on the Tues afternoon as it was quiet. The Sunday before he started he simply said "dont want this", and pulled his nappy off! So he was just over 6 months later starting pre school. Now he is the tallest and also far more grown up in the nicest way than the other two!! Dont worry, they are fine and btw I love their names, xx
