You are now talking to a champion baker!!! Village produce show yesterday, I won first for best victoria sponge, best chocolate cake and best bread rolls!!!! J won 1st for best decorated cupcakes and 2nd in pet photograpy comp, and 3rd in handwriting, M won 1st in handwriting, 2nd in flowers in teacup and 3rd in decorated cupcakes.
Yes, I know it was only a village competition, but there are some seriously good cooks aroung here, and I didnt expect to win anything, let alone 3 1st prizes

Back to reality. Got Lew from 7am - 6pm today!! Em is working a full day so she can have tomorrow off. Lew starts school tomorrow!!! I have a raging hangover - thanks to Takis giving me a litre of Ouzo. Took it to Chellesters last night!! I am now really, really cold. Just put the heating on!!

Sorry Girlies, wasn't up in time to do trolley this morning,due to consuming a bottle of wine in front of the TV last night, but put out fresh baked granery rolls, ardennes pate, and award winning sponge cake for all to try for their tea (before my lot scoff the lot!).

Busy with sewing machine altering school trousers today, boys have packed their backpacks with their stuff, then pre school preperations will be all finished HORRAY!

we're all packed and ready - I can't wait!!! Cept dd is home until Friday But at least once the boys go back it will be quieter.

Bonsoir............sadly I did not enjoy my holiday...........it is a change of 4 walls...............sulky teens, boredddddddd daughter, cook cook cook and the weather was awful. I am going to have to review family holidays!!

Tom will leave his crappy High school next Easter and then go back for a few weeks to do his GCSE's. I cant wait for that to happen. It has been a difficult few years. BUT he has somehow survived it.

As for Lew - 'cant wait Andma for school - dont want to be in 'Daisy group' though - flowers are for girls - not boys

Morning Shabs............is Tom back today? I had hoped to sleep later as mine go back tomorrow, but wide awake. Lovely morning here, shame we couldnt have has some sun last week when we were away. Feel miserable about that holiday, it was boring for the kids, all went on c/c and now weve got to pay it off....................somehow!
