...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Estars friend just put this on Facebook Smile

‎4 days until Daniel receives Levi's Bone Marrow - God is so good:
Day -4 was almost the same as yesterday - no sickness, but wheeziness and shakiness. The staff are very impressed with how he's doing, especially as he still has his appetite and most kids would've gone off food by now. Had a lovely little bible study with him tonight about how David waited to be king instead of killing Saul when he had the chance, and how we need to trust that God's timing is always perfect (it just happened to be in the booklet we are working through). He's been so impatient recently about wanting to go home but it really seemed to click with him and he prayed 'in his head' for ages afterwards :)

Afternoon ladies!

I bare gifts of Brew and Biscuits!

Boys had their very first hair cut today! The fringe just had to go, all in their eyes it was! DH was a little sad! Bless him. Looks much better now though!

Hope everyone else is well?

triplets · 06/03/2012 13:34

Awww first hair cuts on boys are soooooooo adorable :)
Well I am probably cutting off my nose to spite my face but I have just mailed both friends and said I just dont feel up to celebrating atm, which actually is true. Cant rustle up any enthusiasm with all this hanging over me with dh.

Morning girls xx

bubby64 · 07/03/2012 21:03

First haircut - wow that seems sooooo long ago here! Now I have arguments because I want it cut, and J wants it long, which just doesnt work with their hair- as soon as it gets longer the double crown at the back stands up like pinapple leaves! Mike like his "neat" and so happy with short back and sides!
Trips - well done you for making a descision, cant have been easy.
Shabs- moan away as much as you like, you're with friends and fellow moaners here!
Rubes/Chops/Oooggs - Hi there, hope you are having a good week.

todays update from Estar....I really, really hope she doesn't mind me re-posting her updates on here - I dont think she will

Day -2 has been one of the more unusual ones yet! D began having seizure activity early this morning and was quite distressed as it lasted a long time, so we gave him his rescue medicine which stops seizure activity for up to 48 hours. He spent the next few hours as high as a kite (lots of singing, giggling and playing imaginary crazy golf with several fictional characters) but even when that side of things wore off, he continued to have a really good day because the threat of a seizure wasn't hanging over him. He was able to talk a lot more without his face shaking, and he was moving his arms and legs without help. Today and tomorrow he doesn't have chemo, to make sure it is not still active in his body when Levi's cells go in, so we are past the time for expected sickness, temperatures and rashes without seeing any of them! He is very excited to spend time with his little brother tomorrow and asked the nurses for an extra menu so we could order food for him. Really hoping his lifted spirits (rather than the medical high!) continue into the next few days.

Hey girls!

Positive thoughts please! DT1 has to go have his pin removed tomo, from his broken arm last year. It's another general anaesthetic and I'm being a wuss about it! He didn't take to well to ga last time, was very sick, so really not looking fw to it.

shabbapinkfrog · 08/03/2012 22:54

Sending massive positive thoughts for your precious lad Hops...am sure everything will be just fine but I understand your fears. xxxx

Another amazing multiple mummy (and her family) need our positive thoughts tomorrow as well.....

Estars latest message today xx

Day -1: lots of tears and fun today. Tears from having a cannula inserted (Levi) and stomach cramps (Daniel) and lots of fun just from being together. The nurses were all adamant that the recently vacated room next to Daniel's needed to stay free for Levi and it is! So they are sleeping next to other (including a separating wall) and have enjoyed games, dinner and a movie together. Everything looks good for tomorrow - Levi will go to surgery in the morning and the cells will be given to Daniel by the end of the day.

triplets · 08/03/2012 23:12

Oh my..........what a big day to get through, what brave little soldiers they are.Can you send her my love, how do I find her blog?
I felt bad not going up with H today, but I felt it was better to be with the kids. He left here at 11 and got back at 8.30pm, had a plateful of pasta etc, another wait now for the result..

shabbapinkfrog · 08/03/2012 23:18

Dont think she has updated her blog today Trips - I just saw a pic of the boys on FB and put her words on here. If you put her name into your search on Facebook it will bring her wall up and you will be able to see the picture and everything. If she updates her blog I will link it to here xxxxx
