...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

That's great! We only got back a little while ago - so much for a quick job! Hmm. We're there ten hours, rav ended up having been starved for 22 hours again, not happy! Least it over with now and he is in bed snoring away. Smile

Today has been boring.............dead boring. Dd wnet off to her mates for the day, dk went up his allotment in the sunshine, ds2 went off to the big shopping center with two of his mates and I was left with ds3 who is feeling pretty miserable as he has a problem with his new brace, making his mouth very sore. Then went to my mums and had to clear all her kitchen cupboards out, then came home at 6.30pm and had to cook.....................boring, bloody boring......................

Shabs, great new series on I think BBC2 called White Heat. Based on life in the 60`s, really brings back exciting memories, fantastic music in it. On for abour 6 weeks I think, try and catch it only started this week.

If I was allowed to explete every swear word that I know I would. I have just rec`d a message via the Macmillan site that a very special lady is not going to make it. Bowel cancer she has been fighting for 7 years has won, it has spread to her brain. She is 38, her husband left her last summer, she has three beautiful boys under the age of 11, she has fought and fought every bloody tumour, she has undergone months and months of chemo, her boys have watched it all..............................God are you listening???????

triplets · 11/03/2012 00:59

Chops- glad it all went well with your DS
Mumof1 - hope your 2 have cheered up today.
Shabs - I have also been keeping an eye on Estars blog, but nice to know things seem to be going well.
We went to the seafront today, only a 1/2 hr drive to Felixstowe, lovely sunshiny day, sausage n chips and icecream sitting on the seafront, the boys took their scooters and we had a lovely time.

LOL @ trips. I keep trying to persuade DH to try camping but he is having none of it! I love the idea of the cheapness of it, especially for in the UK where holidays are so expensive. They are getting more and more pricey abroad too now - we've not booked anything this year. Gone are the days when we could have a week in Holland for £500 INCLUDING travel!
I really would like to go up to Norfolk for a bit in the summer, spend time with my family, but the costs are absurd.

We made the most of the sunshine too. Spent some time reinforcing the garden, one of the rabbits decided to visit the neighbour on sat Blush. I think they can smell their guinea pigs! Then had the first BBQ of the year Grin Didn't eat it outside, but bbqed a chicken for dinner, then went outsidde to do some planet spotting with the boys. Could see Saturn, Venus and Mars really clearly last night.

shabbapinkfrog · 12/03/2012 08:42

Just been browsing through holidays myself!!! ONE week....yes ONE week in August for the 3 of us in Faliraki comes out at £1,750 yes the flights are very expensive but we are now able to fly from Manchester or Liverpool.....IF we go we will be going back to what we always used to do....flights and then rent the room from Takis. He only charges us about £100 for a week for the room NOT per person. Dan gets married on the 18th August so we will have to go after that....schools are back about the 4th September....I know I am only dreaming about going away but its getting on my nerves already.....everybody seems to be trying to rip holiday makers off. Come on Mr Lottery man SHAKE THOSE BALLS UP!!!
