...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Rugby was fab, we won! Got very sunburned, despite putting sun lotion on every half an hour! We're sitting in full glare of the sun, front row seats, so even my feet are burnt! It was worth it though.

I had strange dreams last night, dreamt about going to see Estar and you were there, shabs!

bubby64 · 27/05/2012 22:11

Hi all. Just got back from dropping off work computer as have been on call over weekend. Mikes blood tests came back showing he has glandular fever- he is feeling better at the moment, but have to take each day as it comes. At least we know what is wrong and can deal with it.
Trips - hope you get everything sorted fort your mum. Also hope you don't get any problems from yor new neighbours.
Chops - sounds like you had a great day.
Shabs -that naughty 'Chelle leading you astray again!
Well, I'm away most of the week in Northhampton doing a course, so DH will have to cope without me. Just getting packing done and sorting school clothes ready for the boys for the next 4 days. I'm driving there after work tomorrow night as course starts 8am Tuesday.

ChopstheScarletduck · 28/05/2012 06:57

morning girls.

ds1 has a bug. Thought it was the sun at first, but started vomiting and diarrhoea yesterday. Because of one of his conditions, it means he is now totally incontinent until it clears up and I've been scrubbing poo from everywhere

the boys have their violin concert today, and don't really want to miss it, they will be upset, but god knows what I will come home to if I do go!

shabbapinkfrog · 28/05/2012 07:36

Chops that sounds wonderful Hmm

I think I have got asthma....never, ever had a problem with it before. I feel like I have to open my mouth wide to breathe. Oh what joy!!

Hi - Thanks for the link, will try to sneak in a look whilst at work this pm.
Trips- You are supposed to be resting!!! Hope you get DD sorted. The course is on respiratory problems in the workplace, we have several types of chemical here as well as resins and powder coat paint plant, and I do all the respiratory surviellence, so I thought it would be an interesting one to go on. Going away for another 2 days in June to one about work related upper limb disorders, another potential problem here as the production lines run at 4-5 mowers a minute.
Shabs - high temperature leave a low oxygen content in air (which is why african heritage people have bigger lungs!) this may account for breathing probs, also there is a very high pollen count, so people who do not usually suffer hayfever type probs are getting it.
Chops- hope DS1 gets better soon, and the boys do well with their concert.
Feel a bit Hmm having to leave DH with DSs as M is not well, but our childminder has said she will have him if he feels too unwell to be at school. Fingers crossed he is fine today, but with glandular fever this can change on a daily basis. School have said he can do half days if he is feeling a bit rough.

shabbapinkfrog · 28/05/2012 17:51

Sad A man just sang my Matts favourite song (and the one he had at his funeral) 'If I was a butterfly.' Oh my word I can only imagine how Estar and her family are feeling xx

triplets · 28/05/2012 22:39

Its a day where you are there facing it, facing everybody..............yet you are not there.............if that makes sense. We had a private burial first, then the church service...............hundreds of people, a sea of blurred faces, walking out of the church with everyone looking at us, so many tears. 15 years earlier we had walked out of the same church as man and wife...............many many memories. God Bless you Estar and Richard, bless you Daniel for letting us be a part of your life. xx

shabbapinkfrog · 28/05/2012 22:42

I agree Trips - it is surreal isin't it? Awful thing to have to 'get through.' xxx

triplets · 29/05/2012 05:21

Goodmorning girls.............lovely headache to start the day. Worried sick about my mum. Went to see her y/day, I cannot see how she is going to come home. She seems to be slipping away from us:(

shabbapinkfrog · 29/05/2012 06:08

Morning girls xx

Been lying wide awake since 4am - just gave up and got up!!

Trips - keep writing a message to you and then deleting....growing older is no fun is it? xxxx Hope they can find a way to make her more comfortable xx

triplets · 29/05/2012 06:16
