...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

By the way Shabs - good luck thoughts are winging their way to Tom as we speak.

Thanks Bubby......even though the school is crap not great the teachers are amazing. Think they get giddy when they get kids who want to do well. Maths teacher has been giving them GCSE papers at least 3 times a week as homework. He has done so many that he seems very, very calm today. Think it helps as he is assured a B and would just like to improve on it. Hard to believe that little 'bugger of a baby' will be 15 in July. He had very interesting sleep patterns as a baby and didn't sleep right through the night till he was 5 years old......

How did he get on, Shabs?

Mumof1plustwins · 04/03/2012 08:00

Can I just ask, is mastitis when you get blocked milk ducts, aches in your body, lump in your breast, very sore and feeling ill?

Because I get this almost once a month feeding my boys but have never gone to the dr, I just take paracetamol and carry on (as if I have terrible flu) Confused

Mumof1plustwins · 04/03/2012 08:00

Oh Blush and Morning!

Chopstheduck · 04/03/2012 11:23

Mumplus1 that sounds like it! I felt very fluish, fever and aches. Maybe you should get some abs and try feeding in a different position.

Bubby - I'd love to see pics Please!

Mumof1plustwins · 04/03/2012 11:54

Thought so, I'd only go quack if it really bothered me, I'm usually fine after a day or two so
Think I really do have a high pain threshold (the midwife told me this when twice I had no idea I was in labour with DD1 + DTs...just thought it was braxton hicks!) Blush
I was also invited back to have more babies on their labour ward Hmm Grin

oooggs · 04/03/2012 12:08

Hi ladies just checking in. Dts have given up the swimming floats & cycle stabilisers this week!! I can't keep up with 2 of them at the same time.

Top it all ds3 is poorly and is asleep in the sofa after keeping.me up all night. When will I get chance to rest? Hmm

Welcome mum of 1+twins Smile

triplets · 04/03/2012 14:10

oooggs how nice to see you, come back more often, I`ll make cake:)
Miserable day here, rain rain rain. Spent the morning ironing and helping with homework. Now sat on my bed snatching some me time with my new cook book which I highly recommend. Nigellas KITCHEN, its really good, lots of what to feed the kids recipes. Also gave me hope as she says her two teens rush in from school, raid the fridge, then leave half their supper but want a snack before bedtime.............my life is normal:o
